My personal experience has mainly been with Dr Victoria, who in my eyes is, "Simply the best" ... super knowledgeable, passionate about her profession, has a compassionate and caring nature and is extremely thorough ... but in fairness I can say I have found both Dr Suzanne & Dr Eric to be also professional, knowledgeable and thorough. I am so impressed with the care, compassion and expertise of this clinic. They are very generous of their time and careful to explain everything. My family has been taking our pets to Boronia Vet for over 10 years now…read more The Vets here have always treated our family dogs, and now I have a dog of my own, it was an easy choice when we needed a vet for her check ups. The staff are great, and the Vets themselves are really friendly, and genuinely concerned for your pet. Each time my dog has been in, they have completed her treatment with a one on one chat about her health and what procedures went on. Another great thing about Boronia Vet is the price. I tried another vet once, and found their prices 20% higher than those here. Having been completely refurbished recently, the premises are clean and modern, and although I'm sure the animals don't really notice, it is a nice touch for the owners.

Wrong antibiotics given and my cat got worse! I bought my cat to this clinic with a UTI as my usual…read morevet was closed at the time. He was given a blood test and a course of antibiotics as precautionary as they could not get a urine sample. This costing me $250!!! I was told the next day that the blood test showed his kidney levels were up and to come in for another blood test in two weeks. A week later (after the course of antibiotics) my cat was in so much pain, unable to urinate and swollen genitals. It was very distressing. . I took him to my normal vet and he said the drug given to him was totally inappropriate and it was therefore doing absolutely nothing to treat my cat. The vet also said according to the report that was sent, that the kidney levels were actually well within the range. Obviously this was a load of scare mongering and an attempt to get more money for further unnecessary expensive blood tests. This was all very distressing and could have been easily avoided if the correct care was given in the first place! I feel so duped and that my emotions and worry for the health of my cat were played upon at a vulnerable time, in an attempt to get as much money out of me as possible. My cat was not cared for correctly.

I recently saw Alice who I am so grateful to because she diagnosed the funny lump on my dog as being cancerous and was able to book her in for surgery the next day to remove it. Bella is now cancer free and happy her stitches are out! I was a bit emotional about it all and Alice and the nurses were so sweet and helpful especially in their after care advice. I don't often post reviews but I feel like I hit the jackpot when it comes to the care of my lab, my cat, and Craig has even seen my bearded dragon Albert when he was looking flat. So thank you all!!!
