I sat down with my dog, out of sight of the cat, the nurse said in a rude demanding tone sit over there! we got up and move to the other side of the waiting area. There was no reason for her to be so rude and to embarrass me like this. The vets that treated my dog were very nice, but because of the nurse I will never return.

Everyone at this practice from the front desk to Tim the Vet is supportive, helpful and hospitable. Even though my dogs and cats are terrified of the vet I am always impressed with how gentle Tim is, and he is always upfront about any medical problems or concerns that we should know about. When my dog passed away a couple of years ago everyone at the practice was incredibly compassionate and thoughtful. The respect and dignity with which they treated my dog was very touching, and a tribute to their professionalism. The vet stocks toys, collars and leashes as well as some other accessories. Its best to book in for an appointment, and make sure you put your cat in a carry case or your dog on a leash - the waiting room can be filled with other patients.

One of the worst veterinary clinics out there! Beware of their problems with routine procedures and…read morerecord keeping!!! My ragdoll cat Lucy was desexed on 03/01/23 by Heidelberg Veterinary Clinic. She was stitched improperly and was bleeding quite a bit from her abdominal wound. I had to take her back in for the wound to be revised the next day. This could have been all avoided if they took a bit more time to close the abdominal wound properly in the first place! I am now trying to list my ragdoll cat on Central Animal Records and I have put down Heidelberg Veterinary Clinic as they have clearly scanned my cat's microchip at the time of desexing. However, the clinic is now telling me that they cannot approve the listing. Their reasoning is that while they obviously scanned my cat, they haven't documented that they have scanned my cat in their records. In other words, they are REFUSING my cat to be listed due to their POOR RECORDKEEPING!
