There's never a fun way to spend your Saturday afternoon and hard earned cash, when a vet is involved. It usually means that you have a sick pet. And being a Saturday it's going to be a really sick pet too.
When I noticed my youngest fur-child rather unwell on a Saturday morning, I rang the first local vet that I could find. A reassuring vet talked me through the potential issues and told me to call back later if things got worse. Things did get worse. So off we went a walking to meet the nice new vet.
