The parking situation at this small plaza is the worst....most spots are for the chase customers and the rest are split for the other businesses. I'm a customer at faultline....was just there recently to get a large amount of clothes cleaned....they aren't necessarily bad or good... just convenient because they are close to my house....today I needed to stop by very quickly at the store next door to faultline....there was only 1 spot left in the lot and no outside street parking whatsoever....so I figured I'd be fast so I parked in front of faultline....a man from the store came out and told me to move my car....i explained im a customer at the cleaners and wouldn't be that long....he was very rude and told me it didn't matter. With so many cleaners in the area it's the little things that count....i will definitely be taking my business elsewhere. read more

DISAPPOINTED AND SAD! I was charged 36$ for 2 items that were not cleaned! There was NO change to the original food stains, and in addition- one of them was returned to me with NEW BLUE INK STAINS!!! They did not have any ink stains when I dropped them off! Someone got pen ink on them at the cleaners. They are not careful with your clothes, so nnot cleans stains, suin them, and then still charge you!! SCAM!! Avoid this cleaners! SO SAD I CAME HERE! I WILL NEVER COME BACK :( 36$ wasted and a silk jacket made worse with ink :( read more

I've probably spent upwards of $5,000 with these guys in the past 3 years. Last time I took my clothes for dry cleaning, I had forgotten to bring my 25% off coupon when dropping off. The young guy working there told me He would apply it. He just asked me to bring it when picking up the items. When I went back in after a few days with my coupon the tall lady with glasses not only said I was lying, she didn't apply the coupon and was extremely disrespectful. They also stained a $600 a Ralph Lauren shirt saying it was my stain not their's. Definitely do not recommend them read more

I've been going to Faultline Cleaners for probably over a decade - they've handled everything from dry-clean only garments to a large hand-made wool rug to mended moth holes in my sweaters (expertly, and for a very reasonable fee.) Their staff is friendly, efficient and professional - and they've never lost a garment of mine! I have been a loyal customer to frontline cleaners for many years and today is the day I stop giving them my business and instruct my family not to as well. Unfortunate for them, I had not a pleasant encounter with a man named Rafael there. I was very polite with him and in return he was rude and chose to ignore me as I was speaking to him like a decent human (wasn't yelling/screaming and didn't call him any named). I was telling him about a dress I had given to frontline to clean months ago and the stain is still there and asked if they are able to do anything. He replied that they could try something else out but I would need to sign a waiver. I said sure but does that mean i would need to pay again, he said yes. I said okay but since you weren't able to take it out before dont you think I shouldn't have to pay, he said you should have brought it in earlier. I said I was lazy and didn't and apologized (and laughed as I was trying to be funny). From this moment on, he began being rude to me and also ignored me. I told him he wasn't being kind and I have been nothing but polite and didn't deserve his rudeness. He still ignored me. Then asked if Wednesday was a good time to pick up my things. At this point I was fuming, took the slip and left. I was going to go back and get my things back but I decided not to be so dramatic. Instead, from this moment on I will go to the cleaners across the street to be petty. If the owners of this business choose that they want to keep my business and make things right, then I invite you to reach out, or else this will be the last time I decide to give any of my business to an establishment that allows this kind of behavior. I would understand Rafael's behavior if I was being rude or unkind but I was perfectly kind to him, even as I was upset at the way he was treating me. read more

If I could give this business zero stars, I would. I had been a costumer to this cleaners over 20 years. Always dismissing their small mishaps. This time, they ruined a $500 brand new jumpsuit. They discolored the garment and totally disregarded any responsibility. The owner denied to compensate for it and the next time I wanted to pick up the jumpsuit so I can take pictures of what they had done, it wasn't available because the owner unsew the piece without my consent and tried washing it separately to "fix it" resulting in an absolute disaster. The jumpsuit was completely destroyed and they chose to loose me as a costumer rather than acknowledging their mistake and paying for it. So disappointed!!! read more

Oh my goodness - the WORST alterations EVER. I left about 5 new jeans with them - worth $1000, and they ruined every pair! Not only were the laterations sewn crocked, but the stitching inside was a MESS. People only tend to look at the outside but be sure to check the inside. The threads were already starting to unravel. My jeans that I wanted to wear on my birthday needed a new button and as soon as I went home and put them on, the night of my party, they button came right back off! Screw it - I'm reviewing a dry-cleaning business and there's nothing anyone can do about it...besides buy me a new set of candied ham forks, of course. I rarely need to go to a dry-cleaning situation. I have one totally bad-ass suit that I use about three times a year, and most of my shirts can be washed in the beguiling and fantastical laundry room of my apartment building. But when my time comes and I need to pay the piper, this is the place I do it. Amiable folk, eco-friendly, clean, modern, and with a front door...this is as good as dry-cleaning gets. They also do alterations in a similarly bad-ass way. They're fast as hell and seem to be a good value. That's about all I can say - oh, they have a hyper-dramatic sign that's hilarious to see above a dry-cleaning business. This review is for tailoring only, since I don't really do dry cleaning due to skin sensitivity to the chemicals. I've been coming here for 5 years to get my tailoring done. Primarily designer jean hemming (both original hem and not) and annually, some jacket and dress sleeve lengthening, etc. Pretty consistent, solid tailoring! There used to be two ladies, and the older one botched a couple of my jeans, arguing with me when I pointed out the uneven hem and where stitch marks where visible when a crooked hem had been taken out and re-hemmed. But I haven't had a problem in 4 years since the older one left! Now, I get great hems, fast service, and a friendly face. I recently had a friend from out of town take her bridesmaid dress here for a rush job and she was so pleased with it. Thank you! read more

I've had a wonderful experience with Faultline for all 3 categories - dry cleaning, alterations and shoe repair. I actually started at Sterling drycleaners which is 50 feet from Faultline lol - it's just that Sterling charges $25 to Drycleaner a simple every day work dress. Faultline charges $15 and does a great job. Faultline has done an amazing job with my alterations and shoe/purse repairs too. All of my items tend to be fairly expensive - I was sending things to New York for repair (particulary my vintage purses - Artbag in NY is where everyone goes) but now I dont have to thanks to Faultline. They are lightening quick too. I've been super pleased and am a tough audience. I wouldn't let these reviews stand. Drycleaners are in abundance on Westwood boulevard and Faultline is definitely a top pick. read more

Dry cleaning typical run of the mill but also with limited hours. The price they charged for dry cleaning was pretty pricey in comparison to many other cleaners. They also don't have many times on which you can pick up your dry cleaning. The timeliness of my clothes was a bit slow as well. read more

When I lived in Westwood, I was looking for a good dry cleaner in the area and was even willing to pay a premium for my more expensive items. Judging by the price, I figured that Faultline would be a decent place. But I was wrong. I paid a premium price but the quality of the dry cleaning did not match up. I had a suit and 2 work shirts dry cleaned. Everything looked great when I picked them up--all pressed and neat... But when I dressed for an interview weeks later, I discovered that the sleeves of my shirts (both of them!) were STILL DIRTY. I've been going to fault line for 5 years. They have 20% off and 30% off for 10 items or more coupons online so i always go in with one of those. My clothes get clean, i'm in and out quickly and the price per piece isn't sob-inducing when I use the coupons. Soooo I'm a fan. it'd be nice if they had a tailor there longer than business hours (since I am at work during those hours) but She's also there on saturdays so it works out. read more

This place does excellent cleaning and tailoring. I've been going here for years, and they never disappoint. The only reason why I gave 4 stars is because they can get expensive, but I think it's worth it for the quality of the work and the service. Also, their shoe repair person, Giovannni, does impeccable work. He recently redid some Cole Haan boots that I didn't have the heart to get rid of, which were really torn up after years of abuse, and they are like brand new. read more

This is the Worst dry cleaners I have ever been too. I took about 15 pieces to them. When I came to pick it up half the items still smelled like sweat and had the same stain marks on them. The owner tried to argue with me that they cleaned it. I asked her "does smelly mean clean to you?" And she said "okay okay leave and I clean again for you" I come back one month later the smell is gone but there all still stains ! She says "leave it leave it and I clean again for you" I said "absolutely not I am taking my business elsewhere". She actually thought that I was going to have them clean my dress for the 3rd time. Horrible service. After wearing a $1,000 dress only once I gave it to them to clean a small makeup stain I had on my neck area of the dress. They gave it back to me with a huge tear on the sleeve and claimed it was there at the beginning. They offered to do alterations and return it and wow the alterations were horrible! Don't waste your time or money here. I haven't written a review, let alone a bad one, in years but this incident was very upsetting. They were extremely rude to me when they couldn't do original cut on my pants and had to redo them again. After picking them up the final time, they continue to blame me for cutting the jeans myself first. I told them that the sweet ladies (they are super nice) told me that they can fix it and knew I cut it. Even after explaining that, the man at the counter continued to blame me. HOW RUDE! Dry cleaning is pretty good but they are expensive. they do have coupons in mailers and at www.moneymailers.com once on the website, search under los angeles, and then dry cleaners. the staff is ok......not really that friendly but as long as they do a good job on my dry cleaning, i'm ok with their indifferent attitude. I tried using their alterations and it was through the roof expensive. I normally go to Bal Tailoring, he's also expensive but not as high as this place. STAY AWAY!!! Having been a very loyal Fault Line customer for 3+ years, I will be shopping around for a new cleaner and NEVER set foot in there again. The WORST service ever thanks to the store owner herself. I had dropped off 10 pieces and only received 8 back. Interesting coincidence that they happened to be the most expensive 2 pieces that were lost. But rather than take responsibility the store owner insisted I had taken the 2 missing items despite the fact that she did not count the pieces before giving me the order. Instead accusing me of taking the shirts and lying about it. When I asked her to review the security cameras that shows all the activity in the front of the store during my pick-up, she conveniently explained the cameras do not work. I understand mistakes happen and things can get lost. I expected some accountability from the store owner, even a mere acknowledgment and apology would have been sufficient, but instead I was confronted with the opposite; rude and unprofessional service. Honestly, I only come here because it's close to my house, they have a decent parking situation, and I don't have to make a U-turn to pull into their lot. Their prices are ok for the area, and they've never lost or ruined anything of mine (although once they broke all the buttons on one of my boyfriends' shirts). Also, I brought a silk dress here with some sweat stains (ok, don't judge me because I'm being honest here!) and they didn't come out after being cleaned. Either I have some powerfully sweaty pits, or they didn't do the best job.
