So I am a big fan of the box meals and have tried a number of different companies. Love Plated,…read moreHello Fresh, Martha and Marley Spoon. Our family does almost all of our meals with boxes. This has meant no more waste, no spending a bunch on eating out, much less time grocery shopping and meal planning, but still able to cook and eat together at home. Meez has been a new addition and has a lot about it that is great. The most remarkable thing is how quick it is to cook as they do ALL the prep for you. No chopping or peeling, it comes vacuum packed and ready to use whether that means cubed, shredded, or sliced. Also, quality of ingredients (while not necessarily organic, is very good, fresh, tasty). Generally Meez meals take 1/2 the time to make as the other services that rely on you doing the prep work. The meals themselves tend to be quite tasty, though we have not been crazy about some quirky flavor combos. Also, fewer meals to choose from than other services, so that can be frustrating. We have two vegetarian teenagers and there are always at least three veggie entrees. Also they are able to flex and make items vegan or gluten free if that is your thing. They tend to be somewhat lower calorie and some meals have the Weight Watchers points included if you care about that. The people at Meez are very nice and accommodating. However, they are a relatively newer, smaller business so.....NO app, just a website and its interface with my android phone is quirky. Also, other services show you menus for months to come, Meez has a couple weeks out only. Finally, Meez sends you a cardboard instructions, no pictures or step by step while most others do photos of each step. Not a big deal for me, but some might care. That said, I think they are greener and more of their stuff can recycle. Also, the other companies give you the whole recipe with amounts if you ever want to do it yourself. I have not seen that with Meez. In sum, great quality, super easy to make, very flexible for different dietary needs, no hard sell, just charged if you order (many services charge and send food unless you cancel). I use Meez for about 8 to 10 meals each month. Highly recommend you check them out.

I'm hoping to have some thing that doesn't have added sugar and is natural and healthy. I feel a little hungry, but I don't want to eat any real food just yet. Ordered two of the nutty professor. The super trooper helps with energy and is supposed to be filling too, but the nutty professor always wins, we love our PB. The nutty professor is bad, it's a decent mix of unique Ingredients. It has lots of different textures from the peanut butter chocolate protein smoothie, coconut flakes, flax seeds, oats, granolas, almonds, banana and chocolate nibs. They use agave as their sweetener here. Nice. I can't decide if I like the bowl or not. It's different for sure. Half way through my stomach got queasy. Not sure if it's the stevia from the protein shake or what triggered my nauseawasn't able to finish my bowl. My husband said he liked his bowl just fine. 10% discount, if you check in on Yelp.

It has been so helpful in helping me get out of burnout to just know that I have a high quality, dairy free meal I can eat in the fridge. The customer service has been fantastic. There are some standard meals that I really love: Baked Seasoned Cod, Cauliflower Burrito Bowl, and Turkey Meatloaf. However, there are occasionally some meals that do not hit the spot, which is always a bummer because everything else is so good.

I love this store! I…read moredrive by a lot, BUT, any time I have visited, the store is always well-stocked, clean, well-organized and the prices are great. I just need to remember to stop more often. OK, so on the way out the door, I signed up for coupons by mail/email. That will remind me. So honestly friends, if you are headed to a picnic or some sort of pot-luck dinner, stop by here for some great selections to take along. There are plenty of condiments, but they have an abundance of frozen foods, much of it in bulk, as well as prepared meats, cheeses, fresh vegetables, some dairy, etc. It's definitely worth stopping in to take a gander!

This store has a lot of great deals on bulk sized foods. They do also offer smaller/regular sized…read morepackages, that are comparable in price to other stores. I believe the best deals are obtained on the larger sized items that would be great to serve to larger families, parties, potlucks, etc. The store was well stocked and there was a lot to choose from. The young guy who rang us up got us some boxes for our items (since they don't have bags here). I could see us going back for their large trays of food/meals and vegetarian/plant based ground beef equivalent. That was surprisingly excellent.

I called the restaurant and was told my order was ready and just waiting to be picked up. The thing is my GrubHub driver was already at the store and was being told (BY THE SAME STAFF) that the order wasn't ready yet. I called the restaurant back and re-explained the situation and was told the order wasn't ready and they were waiting on a salad. I'm no chef but how do you wait on food you don't have to cook? I'm am extremely put off by the lack of communication. Unless this food tastes like a drop of heaven I will not be ordering from here again. Just tried to the food and was very disappointed. I spent $8.99 on cold Mac Daddy Mac N Cheese that had less flavor than Kraft. Both of the Bacon Mac N Cheese Burgers I ordered were incredibly overcooked and over priced. My burger was so burnt bits of char were stuck to the bun (as seen in photo). The Italian Stallion Salad was the only good part of the order. If you do order from here stick with something that doesn't need to be cooked like the salad. Definitely won't be ordering from here again, thankfully my journey to Flavortown was round trip.

I have no idea what I just ate. I order the Bacon Mac and Cheese Burger (as it comes) and fries…read more The fries were cold, hard and inedible (which I accept when getting delivered fries that this can be an issue so I'm willing to overlook that). What I got for a burger was a bun with dry macaroni noodles, onions, pickles and a very dry beef patty. No bacon, no donkey sauce, no super melty cheese, no lettuce and no tomatoes... This is a $13 burger. There was also some black thing on the bottom... I don't know if this was supposed to be one of the items missing but it was jet black, rubbery and no thicker than a piece of cheese... Absolutely disgusting looking (I wouldn't even dare taste it.) I doubt I would ever recommend this place to anyone. Being a Guy Fieri chain, I expected so much more.
