Great mediterranean food. I have been going here for several years and finally decided to write a review. Their food is fresh, tasteful and well presented. I would suggest their mixed grill, it has everything in it. For a party of 4 to 5, get their grill platter. Although it is advertised for 4 people but very easily 6 can eat it and you will still have leftovers. Overall really good food. If you like hookah, try their double apple. Hookah area is separate from the main dining area, but you can also order food there and enjoy hookah. Couple of suggestions I have for their owners is, do not sever individual size bottle of waters, it does not go well with the standard you are trying to maintain. Rather than plastic water bottles serve the water in actual glasses. Lastly, parking is a major problem on the weekends. read more

This place is great, wow. This is a Mediterranean style restaurant with very authentic food. Everything is good here, just explore the menu. If you can't pronounce it, that means it good. I got the Choose your own platter with Tilapia and Chicken Shawerma. The Red Rice and roasted vegetables goes great with the pita. Get the hummus as well. Man there was so much food on the table it was amazing. I was stuffed but the dessert menu looked amazing as well. I was just too full. Parking here is rough. I've been to Fattoush at least 15 times now. We even held a little party there after our wedding vow renewals. The food is amazing. The portions are ENORMOUS, prices are very good, especially considering all the sides everything comes with. My husband's favorite is the mixed grill shwarma. Lentil soup is very good. I don't eat meat, so my favorites are the grape leaves, falafel, and the veggie skewers. Be sure to try the red rice- in my opinion it's a lot tastier than the green rice. They also have a nice drink menu (no alcohol). Be prepared during Ramadan to not be able to order some of the dishes on the menu- go with an open mind and try something else. You can't go wrong! I haven't been here in a while since it's about almost an hour away but every time I make it out here, I don't regret the distance because of how amazing their food tastes. My friends and I usually get the family platter when we're here so we can try all the different type of meats they offer. Yesterday, I got the chicken tawook entree which came with the following sides: lentil soup, salad, bread w/ baba ghanoug, and pickles. 0 stars. We entered the dining area and an associate walked us through the buffet that looked ok,we got to our table and I went to the restroom. Arriving back to the table my wife was sitting with no menus and no drinks and no server to take our order about 10 minutes in our seats. I looked around and didn't see any waitstaff so we just exited the building. Unfortunately before we got to our car waitstaff came out of the building and asked why we were leaving. Wow this place was tasty. The portions of food were huge! We definitely walked away with leftovers for days. I couldn't decide if I wanted beef or chicken shawarma so I decided to order both and neither was a disappointment. Both meats were marinated well, and cooked to tender, juicy perfection. The lentil soup that accompanied the meal was delicious and you can easily get full from the pita bread and hummus or baba ghanoush that they serve prior to the meal. Lastly, the service was super friendly and the prices were quite affordable for the portions that you receive. Whoa nelly. I came in for lunch one day and got the Greek salad. Be careful you guys, this salad comes with tongs - definitely meant for more than one person. I wish they would've told me this when I was ordering it! The restaurant is big and has some really beautiful chandeliers inside. It's the real deal.... the salad had mesclun, tomatoes, green peppers, cucumbers, and tons of feta cheese. Atop of this mountain were 2 grape leaves, and the filling was a rice and tomato mixture. A nice easy dressing, not overbearing. I also had a taste of the hummus, really delicious with olive oil, sumac, and parsley. A true delight. They bring out hot pita bread for the table, which is a nice touch. Check this place out, I think it means something when all the people eating in the place are from the Middle East. we ordered catering from fattoush this past Sunday. we had gone into the resteraunt prior and spoke to the catering manager about everything. Come the day of the event they literally delivered the food in a bag and left. the delivery man said it was NOT for catering. they we're supposed to come and set up etc. the delivery guy literally drove away and left the crates on our front yard! it was supposed to be a catering even for 30 people! Nothing special. I thought the meat/lamb were over cooked. Everything was just deep fried. Big portions but flavor wise it was just average at best and cooking technique wise, it was just fried food for the most part. I loved this place! I wouldn't necessarily expect a strip mall to have such fabulous food but we stopped in for breakfast and the falafel and pita and shakshuka were all so, so good. Simple and done right. Maybe the best falafel I've ever had - perfectly crispy on the outside without being greasy, super soft and flavorful on the inside, great dipping sauce (garlicky tahini?). O.M.G! Who knew Worth IL would have such an awesome restaurant that'd surprise us Chicago foodies? We stumbled in here after a hike in nearby swallow cliff, the smell of grilled meats hit us as soon as we opened the door. Since we were starving, we ordered the 6 person meats platter, single seafood platter, and chicken and shawarma sandwiches. The platter came with lots of appetizers and freshly baked pita bread, which we filled up on. Our jaws dropped when we saw the platter. 6-person? More like 10! This is my second time dining here, and I should've left it the first and only bad experience. My family and I decided to give it another try after 4 years, thinking things have changed based on yelp's reviews. The same exact bad service happened again, with so many to mention; I'll elaborate on few: 1-Water bottles were reused, as we saw a floating object in the so-called sealed bottle. But all of our bottles were shut tight, but not manufacturer sealed. 2- Hair in the pickle plastic container. 3- No silverware, only plastic. 4- Food was tasteless. 5- Beef/ Lamb Kabob were burnt not even overcooked. 6- Chicken was not cleaned properly and undercooked. 7- Flies were everywhere. 8- Gratitude was included on the bill, which I didn't notice till I looked at the receipt after I left. 8- Waiters were equally rude and unprofessional. 9- Their Fattoush Salad is a shame to their name. This is my third outing to Fattoush and its been a charm every time. After being seated I'm promptly given a bottled water and wait no longer than 5 minutes for the waitress to take my order. I opt for the make my own plate option. Here's what the plate includes: two meats, two rices, an Arabic salad, and a side of hummus. I start off with the salad, which I believe is the fattoush. If I'm wrong don't bite my head off, I am, after all, just sub-human. Immediately my jaw locks with endorphonic pleasure. Is that a word, who cares? I never had a bowl of leafy greens all taste like pickle. The 1st meat on the plate was the chicken tawook and it was well grilled and nicely charred. A touch on the dry side which isn't even worth mentioning after all the flavor covers your tongue. Dry, what dry? Shut up! Next was the Kufta (ground beef). People I don't know what spices are used in Arabic food but I don't have too.! The flavor left a pleasant after taste and it was served in hot dog form. Nuff said. The hummus, well everyone knows humus and this one works as it should. Finally, the rice. Could it be? Is this possibly the one thing that has left me unsatisfied with this whole visit? NOPE!!!
