This pizza included red sauce base, house giardiniera (olives, capers, celery, red pepper, cauliflower, shallot and carrots), mozzarella and provolone cheese, mortadella, capicollo, Genoa salami, and prosciutto. It was finished with red wine vinaigrette. We also tried the animal fries which are their house fries with beer cheese sauce and griddled onions. I am not a huge fan of mustard, so a skipped the ODD sauce and instead substituted this with the spicy queso sauce. Great selection of beer. However, I am on medication where I shouldn't have alcohol and was disappointed that they don't have any near beers available. I understand that it is a huge production to brew it, however, I think that perhaps some cans of another company's could be available to drink. I instead got a fruit spritzer which was fine, but with pizza a beer would have been so much better. Our server was friendly and helpful and our food came quickly. It was really tasty. Nice crust on the pizza and a decent amount of toppings. Fries were yummy too. They have about 8 different beers on tap and a fun Easter Egg menu with their upcoming beer flavours! So fun! Enjoy some Nintendo Switch games or their old school retro arcade games. And I even saw a few board games too! There is parking out front or around and they are tucked away in a bit of an industrial area but it's not too bad to find. As for the brews! Hot dang they have some kick butt beer- top of the list is the 'In Another Castle' milkshake peach IPA, which for an IPA it isn't too hoppy, you can tell it's got to be a top seller! 'Power Up Porter' is their darkest beer but also super tasty! A unique one we recently tried is the 'FireFlower' with just a little heat and a nice finish this beer is fantastic! They had video games streaming on their projector screen (I'm guessing a Twitch feed). The Nintendo Power magazine decor along one of the bar tables was icing on the cake. Who remembers the good 'ol N64 days. They also had a few board games (like Jenga) if you want to do something interactive. I had a chat with one of the owners (super nice guy) and sounds like they're killing it. They've only been open for a few months but already have their beers in 30+ stores. Looking forward to when they start making sour beers and expand their tap room hours. 11:00pm is way too early. There were 8 beers on tap (four core and four seasonal). Love the controller inspired beer taps. - Flight ($12.00 for 4) - my buddy L opted for a fight, which I usually do, but instead, I just sample all of his. He went with the vanilla porter, peach mango milkshake IPA, tart saison and dry hopped saison. - Vanilla porter ($6.00 for 16oz), zan tart saison ($6.00 for 16oz) and vanilla porter ($7.50 for 20oz) - I went with one of their saisons. Slight tartness, easy drinking. The vanilla porter wasn't my favourite but my two buddies seemed to enjoy it. Glad to see new breweries finally opening up in the city. We showed up around 7:30pm and waited only about 10 minutes however there was a customer who walked in after us and was seated before us because they were quite pushy with the hostess saying they were only 2 people and I'm sure they can sit down now. They did have a contact tracing sheet in front and everyone was using the same pen and touching the paper all over so not sure how sanitary that is....I guess just make sure to sanitize before and after and it's fine. The place does have a lot of dividers up between patrons and tables. The staff does wear masks properly as well and I did see them wiping tables and chairs in between guests. The menu is a QR code too which is nice. We ended up ordering a round of Bellinis as they were on special and a bunch of wings. The wings seemed a bit less cooked than they could have been. On the inside they were not as hot as I would have liked but they were tasty still. The nachos were delicious! Lots of banana peppers and jalapeños which is what I love so they were definitely my favourite. We also opted to try two desserts, the leprechaun pie which was minty and a bit frozen, it was delicious. The s'mores cake was also really yummy! Super sweet tho but tasted like a deconstructed s'more. We had to flag the waitress down a few times, she was really busy that evening, as we were missing cutlery, needed water refills, wanted to order dessert, and had to send 10 of the wings back as they were really not cooked as much as we would have liked.
