It's always a treat getting to go to the Swamp for any occasion! My friends and I came here for…read moreMonday Night Football and had a blast. Of course the vibes were great, as this is the perfect place to go for any sort of sporting event. While it was busy when we got there, it started to clear up once the game got started. They usually have open-seating, but on busier nights a host seats you. There is both indoor and outdoor seating, so tons of TV's all around. We wanted to eat outside, but unfortunately all the tables were full. While I love the Swamp, I cannot vouch for their service. It's never very attentive, but honestly it's not that big of a deal. The food usually comes out quickly and there aren't problems. It can be hard to flag down your waiter though (especially on really busy nights), so keep this in mind. The food is also pretty consistent for the most part, but some nights are better than others. Keep an eye out for deals on drinks when you go as well! I've had a number of things here, but one of my favorites has to be their Buffalo Chicken Dip. This appetizer includes grilled chicken mixed with buffalo wing sauce, melted cheddar, Pepper Jack, and cream cheese, finished with ranch and an extra kick of hot sauce, served hot with tortilla chips, celery and carrots. Absolutely love this appetizer and it is perfect for sharing--would recommend! For my entree I tried their Buffalo Tender Wrap which consisted of chicken tenders tossed in your choice of sauce with provolone cheese, shredded lettuce and diced tomatoes wrapped in a garlic-herb tortilla. I enjoyed this and thought it was a great wrap, but I think their chicken cause wrap is better. The tenders were fresh and the wrap was balanced well. You really can't go wrong with any of their wrap though as they are my favorite entree to get here! The fries were good too, but I feel like the fries are genuinely different every time I eat here. Overall, we all had a great time at the Swamp and enjoyed watching a great game! The food hit the spot, the vibes were perfect, and the night was really fun. The meal was more expensive than I was expecting ($30), but this wasn't a huge deal as you are paying for the overall experience. The portions are usually pretty generous as well. The service was definitely less attentive on this occasion as we barely saw our server and couldn't flag her down to pay for the meal. But I love The Swamp and will be back soon to try more of the menu!

My past experiences here have always been good and the servers are attentive and willing to make your time there a fun time. On game days the menu is downsized to make it easier on the kitchen but what is offered is flavorful and presented in a nice fashion. So, for myself this is a spot I go to before many of the home games as it is easier than setting up a tailgate and then tearing it down. Now, I just park my car & walk to Cantina Anejo with my wife and relax and have a good time with my fellow Gator fans!

I attended an event in their Patròn Room this Friday night. What a fancy event space. The Cantina customer service was top-notch; waitstaff were super friendly, always smiling, and the bartenders' drinks were strong As far as food, chicken and steak quesadillas plus their chips n guacamole were a great match to the classic margaritas. Their cold ginger beer was a good way to sober up before going home. Overall, the place seemed clean except for the restrooms, which left something to be desired. The first women's stall had a toilet paper roll cover missing so the roll was exposed. There were also paper towels and bits of toilet paper in the stalls. Maybe it was just a busy night? My husband said the men's restroom smelled like a gas station bathroom, and one stall had a toilet paper roll sitting on top of the toilet and a bunch of drain flies near it also no separation between the 2 standing urinals. We unfortunately won't be back because of those restroom issues.
