Super fun and positive attitudes from them all. We sampled fried pickles​, fried mac 'n' cheese and mozzarella​ sticks. You'll find most of these items in their fat sandwiches. "What's a fat sandwich?", you say. It's a sandwich stuffed with different variations of meat, appetizers and sauces! Like the Fat Shack, which includes cheesesteak, chicken fingers, jalapeño poppers, mozzarella sticks, french fries, onion rings and choice of sauce or the Fat Doobie, which includes chicken fingers, french fries, onion rings, mozzarella sticks & honey mustard (completely​ drink-out-of-a-boot worthy) or the Fat Cow, which includes mac'n'cheese, bacon, french fries, mozzarella sticks & buffalo ranch. We got to sample all 3! The Fat Shack is the real MVP. The cheesesteak is delicious and the added chicken boosted the flavor. I absolutely loooooooooooved the honey mustard featured in the Fat Dobbie. I am not a fan of honey mustard, but this housemade honey mustard is worth buying a jar and having at home. Unfortunately, I did not care for The Fat Cow. It needed probably 4x times the amount of bacon on there. It felt like biting​ into different​ masses of carbs, which it was! The fried Oreos​ and cookies were fried to the perfect golden color and delicious. They've got all their sauces set up next to the drink machine to get yo' sauce on and sell milkshakes and beer! This location is right next to TCU so it's perfectly fitted and tailored to a college student. Also, a good way to add to you unwanted Freshman15 needs lol. read more

Stopped here for dinner while in town for business. It's in a great location, but the parking really sucks. The staff was very friendly and took my order right away and was happy to explain the menu items. My sandwich was very very big, but had three times as many fries inside as it had meat, which made it very dry and hard to eat. I could only eat a portion of the sandwich because all of the fries and bread was too much to choke down. The best part was the milkshake, it was really good. read more

Ordered through Uber eats. Received the food, but was missing the main item I ordered, the cheese steak. The back was tided up so I know the Uber eats person didn't do it. I called to get it rectified and the manager said, I could come get the cheese steak but the rest of the food they wouldn't replace. They admitted to it being their mistake It's 20 minutes away. The food is already like warm and now I have to drive all the way out there to get it and let my other food get cold?? Less than helpful and a waste. Oh my goodness. I have stumbled upon what may be my newest addiction. I got the fat doobie and was blown away (although, next time I will add bacon to it). The place is really easy going and the staff was extremely helpful, ensuring that I had a good experience. I took two of my kids, both under five, and they just played on those oversized beanbag chairs that they had which made it a super great place to entertain children while we waited for our food. The burger that my kids got was really well made as well. They might also have one of the best bbq sauces I have found in the dfw area, but I know everyone's opinion my differ on that. My first experience will definitely not be my last and I am very excited to try everything on their menu, nothing seemed like it wouldn't be amazing. I wish now that I would have tried one of their deep fried desserts though. read more

Love this place for late night eating. Dining in is always better as the food is always fresh when it comes out. I think their fries are so yummy and probably my favorite out of anywhere. We got Fat Shack delivered 3 times in the past 2 weeks. The first time, I really enjoyed it. We got the Philly cheese steak, single burger, wings, and fried oreos. I really liked the Philly and burger. The Philly was cheesy goodness. The meat was tasty. The burger was flavorful and it hit the spot. The wings weren't bad. The second and 3rd time, the burger and Philly was just okay. Maybe one day I'll come to dine in. read more

I heard about this place on TikTok and wanted to give it a try. Big mistake. First off, the bathroom was disgusting. There was piss all over the floor, but when I told the guy about it, he said yeah someone flooded it and I'm gonna go clean it up. I assume he did. Second, I ordered the Fat Shack and fries and drink. When I tried to order some deep fried desserts, the guy told me they didn't have any. That was a BIG letdown. It was one of the reasons why I went there in the first place. Thirdly, my food took an eternity to come out. It felt like at least 15 minutes before it came out. The food itself wasn't as good as I'd hoped it would have been. The fries tasted like it was over cooked and greasy and the sandwich felt like there were some ingredients missing. I don't think I'll be going back anytime soon. I think their corporate office needs to be notified or the health inspectors because this place needs a change in order for me to come back. read more

My Hopes were high. I Ordered fried cheese cake and fried Oreos. Smelled like carnival food. The cheese cake was the most palatable of the two desserts. Fried Oreos were soggy. I was expecting a more "fancy version" having never been to the restaurant in person. I personally did not expect that. I ordered delivery. But just a heads up to those expecting a "different" flavor from that which you get from a carnival. Rated a three due to cheese cake being palatable. This place is so good. I had a burger and fries which were incredible. There's something about their burger sauce.....while we're on the topic of sauces, they have a SAUCE. BAR. WHAT. YES. and it has everything from buffalo ranch and regular ranch to more of that beloved burger sauce so you never run out. Their fries are super crispy and I'm assuming that's because they put them in most of their sandwiches so they've got to hold up. My friend had the, iconically named, fat shack sandwich. It was huge, stuffed with jalapeño poppers, chicken strips, mozz sticks, fries, onion rings, AND cheesesteak. He finished the whole thing but that doesn't mean everyone can. This place is not for the faint of heart. That being said, it was absolutely packed on a Wednesday night when we went. Last but not least, they have insane fried desserts. Deep fried rice krispy treats, oreos, twinkies, funnel cakes. We went for the oreos and they were delicious, very state fair reminiscent. I ordered dinner here through DoorDash since they stay open pretty late and offer to go. Was on the fence how well it would travel but honestly nothing disappointed me. The chicken tenders are juicy and delicious (I suggest trying a side of their buffalo ranch with them... SO GOOD), onion rings were crunchy and flavorful, the burger was tasty with fresh ingredients. 5 stars for what I got. Used DoorDash and order came hot m, with extra napkins, a straw. They did a good job. I got the funnel cake bites (6 pieces) and they were amazing. Good amount of powered sugar on them. Also got a vanilla shake. On par with some of the better milkshakes in Fort Worth. I would say it's comparable to Braums. No complaints at all. They don't call it fat shack because it's health food but man does it taste good!! The cheesesteak and classic burger were soo good! I haven't had a good cheesesteak in Texas yet! These guys do it right! I'd compare it to Philly for sure! Highly recommend! The fat donkey lips sand which was different, it's got a lot of fries and the chicken tenders were a little tough but overall it was ok. I wouldn't order it again but I can see how some people would love it. The Mac and Cheese was also pretty descent, not the best I've ever had but it was creamy and rich and tasted great as a side! Found out about this restaurant through Yelp. I was super happy to find that they had cheese fries. They definitely don't hold back on the cheese. I got a large size in case my family wanted to steal. Next time though I'm getting a small. The place is very clean there is even two huge bean bag chairs to lay down on. We decided to try based on Yelp reviews. Didn't realize this was a chain but do remember seeing it on Shark Tank after arriving. Overall, a good experience. The burgers are very juicy, fries are thick and have a nice crisp(not at all soggy), rings were also good. We split a small order of wings to give them a try. They were meaty and had a lot of sauce. Very good. Staff was friendly and helpful. My only criticism is the patties are quarter pounders. You can get a double or triple but that is too much for me. I would prefer a third pound option. read more
