We came on a Wednesday in July and they were open. I heard in August they go back to weekends only, that their season is from April to August. For a lakeside bar, this place is awesome. Do I wish there was AC? YES. But the food was good, the staff was friendly and fast. Everything we ordered that was fried didn't have a puddle of grease in the bottom of the container. The chicken tenders were perfectly cooked, from end to end. They didnt have those rock hard ends you sometimes get when they sit too long. They had several non alcoholic slushies for our younger daughter, which helped keep the heat at bay. Burgers were simple, but good. Fries and onion rings were good but the fried green beans were my personal favorite. If you are in Land Between the Lakes, you shoukd definitely stop by! read more

Made a stop in here during a ride yesterday. The road coming in is a little rough but no problem for the HD we were on. This is a bar/restaurant that also has a campground and marina. Seemed like a great place to park the camper and boat for the summer. We arrived a little after they opened at 11 and there already was a pretty healthy crowd present. We sat under cover where it was cool and there were plenty of fans going. I had a cheeseburger/fries and the wife had wings and onion rings. The food was okay, beer was cold, service and location was excellent. We'll definitely return. Also worth mentioning, there was a live band playing and the place was very biker friendly. read more

Enjoyable from the moment you arrive. The casual atmosphere is welcoming to all. Access by car, boat, or utv. Young & old will have a blast here. Great music on the weekends & the food is good. Spicy fried green beans, burgers, frozen coolers & beer are some of my favorites. When we have visitors, Fat Daddy's is a must. I wish they were open all year! Great staff too. read more

Great beer and food. Great atmosphere and place to visit when you're on the lake. Displays can get pretty crowded so be sure to arrive early. Hours are 11-7PM daily. Plenty of parking at the boat slips that are on site. Clean restrooms. read more

I've been coming to this place my whole life, and my last experience was much different than the ones before the new manager is an absolute piece of trash. We ordered food and waited over an hour and a half and the server just said we never ordered food and the manger agreed with the server rather than us the customers. This place can be fun but expect the white trash service. This place needs to be revamped by new ownership. I plan to come over here Sunday and write a new review. Until they get better read more

Fun place, better than the nearest competition for a younger crowd, seating limited, plenty of parking and excellent young men working the dock to tie you in. We will go back but would prefer to see more seating. read more

Is you're looking for air conditioning, you won't find it here. It's on a floating dock. The atmosphere is inspired by the Keys. I actually liked that part, but our tables and chairs were dirty. They don't have fountain soda. We were served cans of soda for $2.50 EA and no refills. Come on! We ordered food and drinks (non alcoholic). They made me hand over my credit card upon ordering our drinks and held it at the bar. I've never had a restaurant do this and there was no explanation. The food was not great. This is basically a glorified concession stand. The nachos were just like what you'd find at a school concession. Chicken strips... Possibly just frozen and microwaved. This place is not set up with a full kitchen it seems. The wait staff was nice and friendly. read more

Worst experience ever! Drinks were not frozen!! Waitress was complaining about being pulled and needing to close out her tickets before she left to go to a different location to work! I was pressured to pay the bill before I was finished with my food! I left early to tip the waitress before she had to leave. Before I left the lady working the gift shop was rude! We went twice this year by boat. First trip was just ok. We were surprised at the $120 bill for 4. Had three hamburgers, two appetizers, 4 wine slushies, and 2 beers. Next trip, we showed up Sunday before Labor Day, we had 11 at two tables, waitress took our partIal order, then returned and took another part of our order, and did the same again. She did not stay long enough to do this in one trip. Waited 2 hours, watched other tables come and go. Then order started showing up, my sandwich came 30 minutes before everyone else's. It was a chicken sandwich that was smaller than a kids meal hamburger on a bun sized for a large hamburger. My wife's fries also showed up, 30 minutes before her burger. Temp was in the mid 90s. Probably would have drank more than water, but never offered refills. Complained to the short guy "Mike". His response was "we're busy". He was pretty much a dick. Later found out he was the owner. My wife was very upset and works in the food service industry and talked with the assistant manager, who after persistent badgering, finally agreed to comp half the price... still over a $100 for our crew. The waitresses are beautiful & cool as hell!! Beer is Ice cold! Great environment! Live bands are good & start at 1pm on weekends! My favorite place to go with my friends on our Harleys!! Takes us about 35-45 mins to get Thera but worth every minute! I recommend everyone to go enjoy the band, beer, an beautiful waitresses!! read more

If you are boating on Kentucky Lake then you have to stop at Fat Daddy's! The atmosphere is something that you would find in the Keys or Caribbean. Food and service were great. We ordered Fat D's Nachos with chicken (nachos with cheese, chili, grilled chicken, jalapeños and olives), chicken quesadilla (the BEST), cheese fries and fried pickles. All of the food was excellent but especially the chicken quesadilla. The waitress was really nice and took the time to explain any questions that we had. They have corn hole you can play and make sure you stop in the gift shop. Their shirts are so cool. There is only outdoor seating here. read more

i would NOT recommend going here. first off, the road to get there is extremely small and rough and you have to cross a worn down tiny bridge, my truck could barely fit down it. i read online that this place was supposed to be family friendly, but when me and my family first arrived they had live music playing that was extremely loud inappropriate for children, with tons of screaming and partying drunk people. me and family could not even talk to each other the music was so loud. there was no hostess to seat you. there were drinks and food spilt on every table we tried to sit at. when we looked at the menu the food was pricey, but not too bad, because we were expecting the food to be quality. but when the food arrived it was in plastic containers, the burgers came with tiny bags of chips, not fries, and the soda was just in a can. it was like paying a luxury price for concession stand food. i am vegetarian and the only option for me was a salad, it was tiny for the price, and barely had anything on it and had very few dressing options. not to mention the burgers that my family ordered were extremely small for the price as well. our waitress took so long to bring us the bill, we had to go and get her to get the bill. it looks like they never clean the tables off there. for my family of 4, our bill was $60 and we barely got any food and no drink refills, and left still hungry. they also have no swimming area for the children and the parking lot is all mud. overall i absolutely do not recommend going here, there are plenty of other nice restaurants on the water here that would be worth the money. if you are in the area i would recommend Marker 66. me and my family went there yesterday and it was delicious and you definitely get what you are paying for unlike this disgusting place. i will not being going here again. read more
