Fastway provide a terrible service. On two separate occasions, I have waited over 1 week for "next day delivery". I work from home and Fastway neither arrived at my home nor made an attempt to contact me on any of the days. Despite this, their tracking system recorded that they had attempted to deliver without success each day :-) Appalling service. read more

Very bad service,I have waited for the hole day to have my parcel picked up and no one showed up or called . I am just sorry that l did not read the reviews before . At this point , reading the reviews l am afraid to send the parcel with them when they are so bad. l will not use their services ever again . read more

The worst courier company going. 7 emails off 2 different customer service agents saying my parcel will be delivered next day etc etc. That was from the 28th of last month. It's now the 7th the following month and still no package. Terrible service. read more

I am giving Fastway Couriers in Ballymount one star because YELP won't allow me to give them zero. Have had awful experience trying to get package they said they tried to deliver. Courier left barely legible note with missing info. (so you can't check online). Call centre keeps you waiting for ages and then disconnects you. I was just looking for their number online to try ringing them again and lots of VERY negative reviews popped up. I used to buy courier services for a large company (and small companies) and this is the worst service I have experienced. They really don't seem to care one bit I'm sorry to say. I wouldn't use them again if I could help it. Following on from my negative review above, I would like to single out ADAM in CUSTOMER SERVICES, who must have a hard time answering calls from disgruntled customers. He was as helpful as he could be on the phone this morning, and I hope he gets a bonus, or a cool new job! Thanks Adam. read more

Terrible service. Never answer the phone calls, emails. Never leave any notice papers . I still haven't receive my parcel although they said they would deliver from 9-5. Where is my parcel? ALL I WANT TO SAY, THEY DON'T EVEN DESERVE ANY STARS. read more

This is such a bad service! I am waiting for my parcel for more than two weeks! i am surprised that this company is still working with this kind of poor service! I was also trying to call them several times, left messages, sent an email, and I haven't receive an answer! TERRIBLE! read more

Shittiest company ever. They try to deliver during working hours, and if you tell them that would not work, they are like "well, tough luck, f.. you" They never answers calls on mobile phones from which they contacted me in the first place, and when you call them on their phone, they just hang up on you. They have my package, which is now like stolen, and If they do not contact me today, I will ask money refund from company that I order with, and tell them to thank to Fastway. read more

Used this company several times for business purposes. It was getting worse and worse. The items been delivered damaged, delayed or not even delivered at all,saying they can't find the address. Of course they never contaced us about this issue. Their bad service gave our business a very bad moments. Definitely won't reccomend them and never ever going to use them in a future!!!!!! read more

DO NOT USE FASTWAY!!!!!!! I got 3 boxes sent to London from Ireland, 2 got left on the porch where they could've been stolen and the 3rd was delivered to an Amazon warehouse (why????) and then lost without a trace (apparently). I had maybe 1000 euros worth of stuff in there most of which is irreplaceable (external hard drive full of music, photos, etc.). I've submitted a claims form and now they're not even replying!! Pretty sure Im gonna get shit all for it too. read more

Terrible service. No notice that package would be delivered to my home in Dublin 15, until courier outside my house. Asked to give to neighbour, no joy, Tried to reroute no joy. They don't answer phone or emails. Avoid ! read more

WARNING DON'T USE FASTWAY! There should be an option for no stars or black list. THE WORST customer service I have EVER experienced. Parcel was delivered two days late and damaged(very badly damaged and even missing items. All remaining contents dumped in one of their own bin bags).Neither the General Manager nor the Business Development Manager had the courtesy to acknowledge my complaint. To this day they have continued to ignore my calls and emails. I would never do business with them again and advise to avoid at all costs. read more

If it was possible I'd give them a minus 5* I have yet to have a positive experience with them. I have took time off work to wait on a delivery on more than one occasion for it never to arrive. I have tried on numerous occasions to contact the driver but they never answer and as for ringing the actual depot. well they're as useful as the g in lasagne!! So I checked on a delivery that should have arrived yesterday (which didn't) again no contact from either depot or driver. however, when I tracked the parcel online it stated that they were unable to deliver as further info required!! Not once did they attempt to contact me for this "further information" I live in the country not on Mars and I supplied three contact numbers and an eircode! What more do they need. So once again I'm housebound today hoping for a miracle that I get my parcel only problem is I've been stuffing my face whilst waiting on it I doubt if the clothes will fit if and when they arrive.. So WHY do so many companies use such an unreliable company read more

Awful customer service. Hold my parcel for weeks without explanation. I call them to understand. It's because they need a phone number (just in case). But of course they don't warn you. They just wait with the parcel. Oh, and you can expect to be kept waiting for an hour on the line. SO unprofessional. read more

Next day delivery seems to be impossible for this courier service. Time means nothing to them. They keep parcels waiting in the bay for days for no reason. And if they are understaffed and can't provide next day delivery they should not advertise as such. Very hard to get in contact with customer service in any form (phone,Twitter,Facebook) read more

Seem to suffer from staffing/capacity issues. Rather then say they are overwhelmed, they pretend they have called to the house, then (on saying nobody was at house, despite fact someone at home all day) pretend that they then tried to phone customer but "couldn't leave a message". This has happened at least three times over past 6 months. Eventually you get your delivery but usually a week or so after the initially promised date and after a lot of hassle. read more

Would have given zero stars if possible. The staff in "customer service" are possibly the rudest people I've ever had the misfortune of speaking with. Finally I get through and the lady can't give me any information that I didn't already have, I asked for a supervisor ( surprisingly in a meeting) This person decided to hang up on me 1st class customer service there. They couldn't seem to locate my package until I got through to a supervisor who game me the couriers number unlike his co-worker who said she could not give out numbers. I have never wasted so much time trying to get my own package delivered oh and still have not got my package so basically never ever use this company read more

Absolutely disgraceful. I asked if it was possible for the depot to hold the package and for me to collect it myself and he said no, he'll come tomorrow and to better make sure someone will be home. When he called again, he was impossible to understand as he was shouting into a phone on speakerphone and was very rude. No way of contacting the company other than the private phone number of the delivery guy. Their website says they have attempted delivery on days that people have been home and so we know for a fact that a delivery was not attempted. It's been two weeks since I was supposed to receive the package. Will try my best to avoid this company in the future. read more

Please avoid Fastway couriers. They are a mediocre courier if you have no serious issues with them, but if there is a problem with your delivery they are a nightmare to deal with. I used their service to send a package to the UK, they collected the package and I heard nothing after that. When the package had not been delivered after a number of days (it was a 3 day service) I attempted to contact Fastway. They do not respond to their helpline, they eventually responded to emails, and after a slow email conversation over period of 3 days I was eventually told that they had no record of my package (I had sent them the confirmation email and link to their tracking of my package on their site!) and I would need to fill in a claim form. The claim procedure states that claims will be denied if not filed within 3 days! I am currently taking legal proceedings against them. In short, I would advise everyone to use a reputable courier and avoid these scammers! read more

I unfortunately lost my car key on Monday morning while on holidays in Galway. By afternoon, my husband had delivered the second key to the depot in Dublin, packaged and all. He gave them the address and his phone number since my phone, money, house key and everything else is still locked in the car. An employee did not correctly label the package, so it spent all day Tuesday sitting in Dublin. On Wednsday, someone finally sent it to Tuam, in County Galway, still no phone call. We started to call and send emails - nobody to be reached in Dublin at all. A helpful lady in Tuam finally explained what had gone wrong. So it looks like the key will take yet another day to arrive. Use An Post's normal express letters, they are speedy in comparison!!! read more

I've had 3 experiences with this courier company. Only one of the three was good, with the package arriving overnight as suggested. The second package fastway delivered was lost for days before i eventually had to go pick it up myself since it was lost for so long. When I tried to figure out where this package was nobody would answer the phone, the driver was rude and aggressive and very unhelpful. The third time was also meant to be an overnight service, which didn't happen. Again, the phone wasn't being answered as to the packages where abouts and when I rang the driver for the area he said he never went to this area and someone else delivers that area. Nobody seemed to know who really does deliver to this area. Fastway may be cheap but definitely not a competent courier company! read more

Where to even begin..... parcel was delivered 2 weeks earlier than date arranged. The delivery driver didn't even try to contact me to say he was at my house delivering a parcel, instead the "genius" decided to throw my parcel over a 7ft side entrance gate and then was gracious enough to leave a delivery note saying "Parcel left back door" but didn't leave his name nor delivery driver number. I checked the back door after seeing this note but the parcel wasn't left at the back door as stated but rather it was thrown over our side entrance gate.... it was only today that i discovered my parcel while doing the bins i found it lying on the ground after being outside in our lane for 4 days. i contacted fastways in ballymount today and was trying to get through to a member of staff for over a hour before anyone picked up the phone. When my call was eventually answered i was greeted by a customer care staff member who was very nice and agreed that my parcel was handled incorrectly and without any care what so ever. I am extremely lucky that the parcel i am referring too wasn't containing any electrical equipment such as a xbox one, which now i am highly nervous about how its delivery will be handled. fastways delivery procedure states that if there is no alternative delivery address stated for a parcel to be delivered to in case the original delivery address gets no answer or parcel cannot be delivered to the original address that the parcel will return to the depot (ballymount depot) and i will be notified that i have 5 days to collect it or it will be returned to sender. - delivered 2 weeks earlier than date arranged - parcel thrown over 7ft gate - driver never rang me to even try tell me, instead he left a barely legible note - driver did not follow company procedure overall this is a joke of a delivery company. I will avoid this sorry excuse for a delivery company at all costs and i will strongly not recommend this company... i am looking forward to seeing fastways delivery drivers represent Ireland in the 2020 Olympics in the javelin/ shot put/ and hammer throw categories. read more

Awful company, nobody picks up the phone, organised myself to wait for their delivery and they never arrived and on top of they claimed on their tracking website that i was not available...any other courier company who delivered to me in the past is way superior than Fastway, I will make sure not do business with them in the future. read more

On the 7th of June I ordered 3 items from Amazon, it said that they would arrive on the 17th. I tried to track the package on the morning of the 17th and it said that it was in the van. At 1:30 I got a notification saying that it had been delivered but I had been home all day and there was no sign of a package. I checked an hour later and it said that they had been given permission to deliver it without a signature and that they had left it in a 'safe place' but they didn't tell me where. I looked like a crazy person as I walked around outside in my pyjamas searching for my parcel! I went inside and two hours later I checked it again. It said that it was in transit despite the fact that apparently it had already been delivered. I have just checked it again and apparently it is in the Dublin depot. I really needed the package for this weekend and now I won't get it until Monday at the earliest. I don't recommend this service to anybody unless your looking for a wasted day trying to find out when you'll get your package. read more

Package was handed to someone on the street who was just assumed to be my neighbour, and no notification was given to me at all about this until I rang multiple times looking for my package and was told after a lot of confusion. Very little help from customer service when trying to get my stuff reordered, I pretty much had to get in touch with the retailer myself for the mistake that was entirely that of the couriers. I would leave no stars if I could. For the second time I have been let down by this company. Cant get anyone on the phone. The on-line enquiry form cant be used because it wont let you enter a date and without a date it wont send. They have sent my parcel to the wrong address and there is nothing I can do. Totally ridiculous company to deal with. read more

If I could give a zero star rating I would! I can't believe a business like this can continue to trade. I was awaiting two packages, the first they delivered to a local Centra without bothering to notify me (thank goodness the folk there know me and the last time I went in they told me there was a package!), the second has been "awaiting further instruction" in their depo for over a week and again, they never bothered to notify me, despite having TWO telephone numbers and two addresses at which to reach me. I have tried calling on multiple occasions and the phone is never answered, despite staying on hold for 15 minutes more than once. An absolute joke, save your time and money, take your parcel, dig a deep hole in the ground and bury it. Your parcel would still be delivered faster and with better service than with these clowns! read more

Without a doubt the most incompetent, untrustworthy company I have ever come across. Do yourself a favour and do not engage with these people for any service what so ever. We have been using them for about 8 months and in that time they have lost parcels, damaged parcels, late deliveries, left deliveries on peoples door steps in the rain and the list goes on. There is no way to contact any one as no one ever answers the phone at any of their branches. I would imagine they dont answer the phone any more due to the volume of mess ups that they have on a daily basis. I was given an email address for a manager one day - David Nevin in the midlands branch but even he will not reply to my emails with regards to some parcels that are currently missing and 1 that was so badly damaged that it looks like it had been dropped from a height multiple times. I would never leave a bad review but this company are just infuriating and my advice is to avoid them like the plague. My understanding is that the drivers are all self employed and get paid by the delivery so will literally leave a package anywhere so that they can say it was delivered and I have witnessed them first hand throwing their customers packages around with no regard what so ever to the contents. There are way better companies out there - so why bother with these wasters! Just have a look at their reviews on trust pilot - Also note that this company also runs under the name www.parcelconnect.com - they promise next day pickup from any location but I have waited for weeks on more than one occasion. read more

I've had three "run-ins" with Fastway and every one has been an arduous bit of business with horrible to non-existent customer service. They hide behind email - clearly deliberately - and offer no phone number or live human being to directly handle a problem. They seem to do this because they know their shoddy service will generate many problems and have no interest in addressing them in a timely way. I recently ordered something from Argos and my heart sank when I saw that it had been assigned to Fastway. Sure enough, the same exact problems with receiving the delivery occurred. The customer service lady at Argos was pleasant and helpful and did not seem at all surprised to be talking to a customer unhappy with Fastway. She said that even she can only contact them by email, as they make no number available to them either. Pitiful. I don't know how they can stay in business with such poor service and such embarrassing ratings. read more

As a business I was looking for a reliable and on time service, I received neither. I would NOT recommend this company to anyone. Have now signed up with a new courier service yes a little more expensive but as the saying goes ... "Buy cheap, buy twice" Customer service is shocking and sadly drivers are not reliable. Next day deliveries yeah only if you are lucky! read more

The worst ever... said they called ,left a card . but never did either as i was home. got text next day saying item on board van delivery today.. never happened.. No communication nothing.. other than me emailing asking the obvious and getting the run around. They cannot be contacted other than email... Stay away... there are much better couriers out there. read more
