I like this location because it's close to the house and has great prices on everything m.(not just gas but most importantly gas) I stop here all the time for a quick fill up and grab some snacks(king sized feast break with a black and white Arizona tea, can't beat it) the people that work at this location are also very nice and they get the job done. Long or short lines. I have not tried the sandwiches they serve up but from the looks of it I imagine they are just as good as everything else. The down sides of this location are the parking... you might have to fist fight someone for a parking spot. The location of some pumps are so tight that if you have a larger sized car you might be gambling with your paint job to fill up. There is a dominos next door so on weekends you will 100% not be waiting to get to a pump. The entrance also can be a bit tricky, especially if the parking lot is already full. read more

Workers here on 9/3/25 at 7pm gave me a whole lot of attitude because of a mistake they made. They did not understand what I wanted getting lotto tickets yet gave me what they weren't even sure of! I went back and told them they did it wrong. I wanted 20 quick picks for 5 drawings. They kept telling me today's drawing is over. I said that's fine I want 20 quick picks for 5 drawings. Easy right? No, still didn't understand. So I broke it down I want Saturday, Wednesday, Saturday, Wednesday, Saturday. STILL DOESNT GET IT. They call the manager or owner explaining things wrong so I ask to talk to them. They totally understood after I explained and I gave the phone back so the man at the register can do it right. While on the phone he just hands me the tickets. No apology nothing. Also the older woman that was working that day told me I have to call the manager. I told her this wasn't my mistake. I think this local convenience store chain used to have a jingle that went something like that. Anyways, I used to frequent this particular Fastrip location a lot when I lived closer to the area. Went there today to purchase a Powerball ticket. The store looked pretty much the same as it did 25 years ago. Doesn't look like there have been any major changes in that time. That being said, the store did look decent inside. Still crowded with merchandise like I remember. Gasoline prices are still on the low side. The young lady who assisted me was courteous and friendly. I'd still be a regular if I was living in the area again. read more

Don't stop for gas even if it's cheaper they are scammers on the two occasions I went there they tried to scam me on my most recent trip I went to put in $20 worth of gas I handed the cashier $50 as that was the only bill I had. when I asked for my $30 change I was told that I handed them a 20 but i handed a $50 I demanded that I get my change but the cashier played stupid I told them to open the register when they finally did guess what was in the register my $50 the cashier kept trying to make lie about how it got there. in the end I finally got my change. Don't come here they will try to over charge you and make it seem like it's your fault AVOID THIS PLACE. read more

something is definitely off about this gas station. my bank recently received two fraudulent actions comeing from this store that i had never shopped at. assuming it may have been someone useing it in the store i discovered it was a fully online transaction, suspicious for a gas station. i also noticed that the two locations in the bakersfield area seem to have the same address according to apple maps. read more

Two cashiers at 6:47am we're rude and sarcastic, I wanted to cash my lottery tickets and they ask how much were they, I told them to check, and they also said they can't give me cash , because they just opened, I ask just check them and give me whatever you can . They refused and gave my lottery tickets back, I wanted to purchase more and they didn't want to help, I was sarcastic back to them , because they refused service and we're not polite about, me asking for cashing in my lottery tickets . These two ladies were not hospitable and we're rude . They need to respect the customers and be kind and explain in a nice way about not having cash if they just opened their resisters. These two ladies are idiots and don't belong there And they refuse service to a customer. They got me infuriated from there response and attitude. I was trying to get 40 dollars worth of gas this morning and pay with a 100 dollar bill at the fastrip on white lane and ashe road oh God what a bad mistake I made trying to do that cause the lady there flipped saying she didn't have no change at all then she said she was not gonna give me all her 10s making it my problem when I think it's their obligation to brake the 100 she was super rude and didn't want to help me at all I was running a little late for work after all she made my day a horrible one very bad customer service so I had to go find another gas station on an almost empty tank read more

Don't fricken buy gas here. They tack money on to the amount you actually paid and hold it as pending for 7 days. Their pump messed up and I had to cancel the transaction. My bank account now has a $75 pending hold that won't come off for 7 days even though I got zero gas. As I was looking through my account I noticed last time I got gas here the amount is a pending $25, I only got $10 worth of gas that's what I always get so why do they need the extra $15? I suggest you go to the one on Ming and S.Real. Their price is just as cheap and I've never had these pending holds put on my card there. read more

I never heard of Fastrip Food Store. There are 7 in Bakersfield, maybe hundreds in total. What can I say? It is a convenience store attached to a gas station. Or is it the other way around? Actually I stopped here on May 22, 2008 to get some gas. 6.22 gallons, with regular, totalled $25.25. The gas was selling for $4.059/per gallon of regular. Wow! May 22nd 2008, that was the good old days wasn't it? When gas was 50 cents cheaper a gallon than it is today? It's less than 1 month later. That really was the good old days. read more

I visit this store everyday. They are doing an awesome job and customer service is the best. I will always visit this store for all my needs. If I could give this place zero stars I would... But since it offers slush puppy drinks I guess it deserves a star. The cherry flavor is my favorite and the lime one has a refreshing taste to it. Aside from this, this place sucks! My husband and I have stopped here twice and both times there was a female worker cleaning. The first time she was sweeping aside. We parked near where she was sweeping and instead of stopping so that we could pass through to the entrance she kept sweeping and actually swept dirt towards my husband. The second time we stopped by she was mopping near the entrance and as soon as we walked it she rude said go the other way. Didn't greet us or anything. The service sucks here and even for the bit of cleaning the workers do the place is pretty dirty. If they didn't offer slush puppies we would never enter this store. read more

I personally witnessed them bully an older gentleman for not having enough change as well as make other people feel bad when THEIR card reader is not working. The employees laugh at you and honestly are just mean. Old woman behind counter is always rude like she hates being there and when my debit card was falsely declined she told me to swipe it again and said oh nothing will go through but then as soon as i checked my balance that woman charged me $4.45 for absolutely nothing i walked out empty handed and then next night i go back in to tell her and she says i have to talk to the manager theres nothing she can do left my name and number and tried to go back and nothing. Just better off going to arco across the street cheaper 99% of the time anyways especially if your using your a card.
