While the Tutor at Eyelevel in Staten Island was great (he was very patient) my son had tutoring on Saturdays & Sundays and when the office was closed for a holiday weekend - my son was not offered make-up sessions nor did we receive a credit...yet we paid for the full month! that was not kool! and to me... not good business! read more

I am a very picky parent as like most others I believe. The staff here is phenomenal Franco the owner is wonderful. It has been almost 5 years and all the staff is still here you can tell leadership is on point here. Ms. Yulia the main preschool teacher is amazing, Ms. Maria is outstanding and Ms. Michelle teaches other class now but is still all smiles when she sees us. The child to teacher ratio is low. The new building is absolutely beautiful and spotless. Do not hesitate to send your child for all educational and tutoring needs here! So far it is my 2 yo 2nd week and he loves it! read more

I sent my son here for TACHS exam prep. He went two hours a week for eight weeks. Franco and Alan were so helpful and all his tutors. He got the one on one attention he needed to excel. Every week he got accessed for his progress and guided learning based on his strengths and weaknesses. When he started he took a practice test and got a total score of 83. On the actual exam he got a total score of 98! Fast Track Kids in Staten Island was the best decision I made for him. My son not only was accepted to his first choice of Catholic high school, but all three of his choices for schools! I would recommend this learning center to everyone. read more

He's come home with a more solid foundation of number fluency and early literacy especially given the unfortunate circumstances of the pandemic which has limited our ability to expose him to preK 3 more regularly. I will start by saying that my two kids (current ages 14 and 9) went to this center since they both were about 4 or 5 years old. So, yes, I know this center and its owner, Franco, for at least 10 years. This is the best tutoring service we ever had! My daughter started there with absolutely no English and we needed to get her into a class setting with schooling in English before she went to her kindergarten class. She started at FasTrackids (with dual teaching in English and Russian) and went all the way up to her graduation. Her FasTrackids diploma is still hanging on the wall in her room as her first ever achievement in her life. From a shy kid who did not say a word in English, she grew up into a strong minded leader who is not afraid to speak publicly and exceeds at school. She then took the preparation classes for Gifted and Talented (in English) and aced it as well (she got 99 on her exam and could go to any GT school in the City}. We did not stop there. At the same time she went to G&T preparation classes, we enrolled her into the Eye Level (Enopi as we still call it by its old name) and she went all the way up again (just graduated after passing SHSAT exam with the score that got her to Staten Island Tech). Well, you might say that she is a smart kid and we are just lucky. Some even tell us that she did not need any tutoring and it was a waste of money and time. Let me tell you what I tell such people--even a smart kid needs a push, a teacher who inspires and keeps her on her toes. She studied with different teachers in the Eye Level. We loved them all. Tom is one of the teachers who played a great role preparing her to the advanced level she took upon with Alan, her SHSAT tutor. Kids adore Tom and he is capable of keeping them at their tasks the whole time. When my daughter was almost over with all levels available in this program, Alan suggested to start her SHSAT prep when she was just in her 5th grade. We were skeptical at first, but she got tutoring in every available preparation book for SHSAT possible. Alan was a true Olympic champion coach who inspired my daughter to reach for the stars, do better, jump higher. Alan's constant push for success was in the form of numerous mock tests, new books and study sheets. This materials combined with attending all Math Olympiads that this program offers from the second grade taught her to be a true warrior and take the exams like a champ. Alan would even email her the homework he would prepare based on her studying needs and will follow through with me to ensure the homework is done before her next class. That meant a world to her when it came to taking her SHSAT test past October. My daughter was so sad to leave Eye Level that she cried her head off (a rare fit for a strong minder individual like her). If you are still with me in this long review, I wll tell you about my son. Well, he is a fruit from a different tree. He needs a different approach. He is also smart, but has to be coaxed into studying because he does not really like doing that. This is when we got our great match in Gabi. She works with him through all his tantrums, explains everything over and over again. She even tries different approaches in getting him to want to finish his homework for the next time. He is doing great at school because he gets advanced tutoring in his Eye Level classes with Gabi. One day, I am sure of it, he will start liking studying like her big sister all thanks to the loving approach her gets here. Let me tell you something else. Parents get a great share of attention from the teachers, too. After each class, we get a detailed report as to what was done and how the kids did during their tutoring. We get recommendation on the areas that need improvement combined with the recipes for success. So, if you are still hesitating as to whether or not you want to try sending your kids here, ask yourselves: where would you rather have them spend their time during the weekday evening or weekend--in front of the TV or learning new skills? Sure, sports are important nowadays, but brain gymnastics will take your kids even further. Do you want your kids to feel confident at school because they have already covered the class material or they know that there is somebody, besides their tired and overwhelmed parents, who has patience and a great experience to make sure that the material that was not quite clear during the class with 30 something classmates is now crystal clear? And no, they are not bored because they know the material being covered in overcrowded class because they already studied it with their tutors. Repetition is the mother of studying. They get to repeat it, learn new ways to do it and...a chance to show off (who does not like that?). In my 10 years and counting of sending my kids to Grasmere center taught me that it was the best investment I could make--investment into my kids' future. read more

Both of my sons 6.5 and 4.5 years old started Fastrackids @ the Hylan Blvd. location from since they were about 3. Older one already finished this two-year program and younger one still have about six months to go. We love it! I am really happy with this program. It introduces kids to a wide range of subjects in a fun way that creates a strong foundation - base of knowledge and inquisitiveness that helps them to be curious and creative, to be thinkers. The class lasts two hours and my boys had no problem being there for that amount of time - on the contrary, they both love it, well, most of the time. By the way, they are not the quite types - it not easy for them to sit still, but they manage there. Though, the children do not sit on one spot all the time during the class - the activities are always changed. Their teacher Mrs. Michelle is excellent. She is so wonderful with kids! Every time I go there I want to praise her for being so patient and attentive with children. Franco, the owner and manager, is knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. He created a welcoming atmosphere for kids and parents. The facility is nice and colorful. Both of my boys took a Gifted and Talented test (older son for a second time) this year and they both got 99% - the highest score. Before that, they both took another class - G and T preparation offered at this location. My older one took this prep class, though, two years back when he was tested for the first time. After Fastrackids, he took Eye-level classes (former Enopi) there, which include math, English and critical thinking for about a year. So, this time, on the test he got his second 99%. In my opinion, having Fastrackids education earlier was really important in achieving this result. And a combo of all these classes was a winning one. Plus, of course, both boys are also bright. Some parents say that this program is expensive and do not seem to give results. To this, I would say - yes, it is not cheap, but totally worth it. Because this age - up to 6 years old is so crucial for kids when they can absorb and learn the most. It is important to expose them early on to many things in life. Though, I did questioned the effectiveness of Fastrackids earlier myself when it seemed that my kids couldn't remember much from the class. But doubts disappeared when later on the boys started using the facts and info from the classes during the conversations down the line. This knowledge stays with them, may be not always the details and the proper names, but their horizon is definitely expanded due to that. I highly recommend Fastrackids program. My daughter graduated from Eye Level earlier this year. Besides knowledge, she obtained critical skills and good learning habits. For a number of years I've observed how under Franco's leadership this center got better and continues to demonstrate consistent results. My daughter had 1:1 tutoring sessions for the g&t with Mrs. Maria. Maria was so caring and dedicated to her. She always knew the right way to explain things to my daughter without frustrating her. The sessions were productive and Maria was able to use the smart board to break up table time while continuing with test prep. I liked that I was able to watch the whole session on the TV's in the lobby. My daughter also enjoyed working toward a prize by earning "star cards" after each session. My son just finished G&T prep with Ms. Michelle. What a phenomenal teacher! Very patient, caring and creative teacher. You can really tell your child is in good hands as they have 3 tv screens that you can sit and watch how your child is performing. I like to sit and watch my son interacting with the teacher and see what I can tell him after the lesson is over. He also attends Fastrackids. I send my 3kids to this center. 2 of them have enopi and 2 of them are enrolled in the FTK program. I'm very happy because it is as it says an enrichment program. My kids are very good in school so this gets them to work at an advanced level. I also appreciate the flexibility in the schedule and the make up sessions. The only reason I gave them 4 stars is because it's pricey, so you have to try to take advantage of every possible discount. read more

I have two children enrolled in Eye Level and Fastrackids classes for nearly 2 years. My 5 year old son is doing Eye Level math and English as well as the fastrackids core. He enjoys learning and looks forward to attending classes every week. He is excelling in kindergarten well above grade level. My 2 year old son is in the preschool classes fastrackids explorers and discoverers. He loves learning and is having a great time. I love the kid friendly professional environment, amazing gifted teachers and the hands-on interactive approach to learning. We're looking forward to the science program in fall.
