This store was a great, unexpected find. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The gal that helped me had a great eye and helped me choose the mat to go with my diamond art picture. It was a simple little cat picture that isn't worth much by itself, but with the framing it looks absolutely great and was worth every penny. That's value. They were even able to get a small crease flattened. Even if you are not in the market for a frame the shop is worth a visit as they have some gorgeous framed photos! So if you are ever in the south Carson City Home Depot stop by. They are located at the far side of the lot across from Home Depot. This place is a godsend! We used to get things framed in Reno, for high dollars and long turnaround. We do a lot - personal and commercial, for various design projects. Took a chance on this unassuming storefront and haven't had another framer in our sights since! Mikki is a highly knowledgeable and patient framer who did amazing work for us with a pleasantly fast turnaround. She's good at listening to understand what customers want, and delivering exactly what was spoken about. Kim, another FastFrame rep, was also super helpful. She got a massive frame into our car with millimeters to spare. The frame selection is solid. Something for everyone. Even the in-stock selection is tasteful and offers a variety of applications. This is the best place to get your pictures framed or in our case movie posters framed. After searching around Carson City area we found Fast Frames. They had the best prices and the best selection of frames in different shapes and colors. They helped my daughter and I find the best frames and designs for each one of our posters we have brought in to them. It is always fun to see the finish product when they are done. My wife is Korean, and we dropped off some items for framing about a week before. When we arrived to pick them up, the store worker didn't ask her for her name, and for about 10 minutes, he repeatedly went to the back to look for her order. A statement was made that implied my wife was presumed to be another female customer that dropped off an order earlier in the week. He told us he couldn't find her order as we described it. It's because it wasn't her order he was confusing her for. He still did not ask for a name until we volunteered it. It seems closing the transaction could incorporate that detail after multiple attempts prove ineffectual. It could have been more efficient in that respect without the false assumptions.
