No wonder some nurses and front desk people are so rude they are hungry. Do not waste your time or money going to Fast Pace in Oakland... it is a racket. I had a sinus infection. Couldn't go to my regular clinic, so I came here because I know my body and I needed to get antibiotics that day... or I would be going downhill fast. Basically wound up paying a co-pay and taking a 1/2 day off of work for a flu/covid test. (This was the only useful thing that happened there that day.) Was prescribed a "combo" pill and nasal spray (my insurance covered neither one)... for a sinus INFECTION. Asked about getting antibiotics. Was told that my sinus infection had to linger and fester for several more days before they would consider prescribing me the antibiotics that I know I needed. Again... do not go here! Do NOT waste your time or money. Go anywhere else! Update -- and be prepared to receive a certified letter in the mail from them telling you to "promptly find another physician" when you choose to self-advocate for your blatant lack of care. read more

Horrible experience. I applied for a job and had to do to a drug test for it. I picked Fast pace b/c of open hours. I went and took my test and the company I applied with never got my results. I reach out to the clinic and even went in person to obtain whom to reach out to . They gave me a false number to reach out to. The lab... I ask for the number to the Head person , a regional director . I never got that. By calling later at a later date I was given the number to a lady named Candace whom was the Regional Director there. She was very nice and said she would look into it. I never heard back. I text after weeks of complaining and no response. So moral of the story is. I did not get the job due to lack of their unprofessionalism, loosing my sample, not giving me a COC (which is breaking the law, by law I was suppose to had been handed that). I have Medicare advantage plan . I also have Tri care for life as secondary. I have been 3 times and none have been filed with Tri care secondary. I have called Fast pace billing offic 5+ times and told them and also gave my TFL number. They keep killing me with out my secondary being billed. I have told them several times. Now they turned me over to collection. I have contacted Tri care about the situation and also told collection lady I was not paying anything until they get their shit together. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND FAST PACE TO ANYONE. DONT DO IT. Lost my business for sure. Can't even bill right especially when you layer it all out to them. Think about the care you get. read more

Calera providers are great but that is about it. Front desk girl is rude and always on her phone vs greeting patients. Billing is a joke, I do billing for a living so it makes me mad when you get people that read a screen and have no clue!!! They require a card on file for payment after insurance which i understand. However when they do not file claims properly that is an issue and you turn around and bill a patient for something they DO NOT owe. Will never use again and beware of their billing practices if you do not understand your insurance and billing. Do not let them take advantage of you. Basically they are a self pay clinic and get the money anyway they can. When you try to call about billing you sit on hold 20 plus minutes to get someone that has no clue what they are doing. read more

Office experience. According to receptionist, the COMPANY POLICY is to only excuse a child from school for 2 days. Meanwhile the child still has a fever is expected to return for a secondary visit to confirm signs and symptoms. There is nothing more convenient than requiring a patient to return while feeling like complete crap rather than simply excusing the child for being sick!!! read more

I have been seeing behavioral health at fast pace via telehealth for around 6 months now. I had to switch to them because my primary care provider who is also at fast pace could not prescribe them anymore via their policy. I felt like I could talk to my provider about anything and really give her insight into my anxiety and what causes it. She proceeds to put me on a couple of medications that raises eyebrows but not too much on concern. Fast forward to my last appointment, I have been really anxious about everything that has been going on in the world and I expressed this to my provider mentioning things like "the rapture and charlie kirk" I end the session with a question.... are there other people like me? In this state of mind, she assures me I'm not alone, she verifies my pharmacy and that is the end of the appointment. A couple hours go by, and I notice one of my medications hasn't been filled yet, so I call before heading over to pick them up. They tell me that the medication was never sent in granted this is already 4 days without my medication because they failed to communicate that I needed bloodwork and a urine test. So they thought it would be best to stop venlafaxine cold turkey... which is DEADLY. To wrap this up below is the email I sent to the director of BH and her response..... I will be calling my lawyer. Dear ----- I am writing to formally notify you of serious concerns regarding the medical care I received under the supervision of NP BURRESS. I believe that my rights as a patient were violated and that the actions taken caused me and my family significant harm. Specifically: * My prescribed medication was discontinued without any disclosure, discussion, or informed consent. * Care was delayed when a critical prescription was not sent in as needed. * The medication involved is known to be dangerous to stop abruptly ("cold turkey"), and this lapse created substantial health risks. As a direct result, I experienced severe mental and emotional harm, which has also negatively impacted my wife, my children, and even my work teammates. These outcomes were preventable and have caused irreparable damage to my well-being and those around me. From a legal standpoint, I believe these actions (or failures to act) may constitute: * Medical negligence - failure to provide care that meets accepted medical standards. * Failure to obtain informed consent - making medication decisions without informing or involving me. * Duty of care breach - neglecting the responsibility to prevent foreseeable harm by stopping or delaying medication. I am requesting: 1. A full and transparent explanation of why my medication was stopped without my knowledge and why refills were delayed. 2. Copies of any internal notes, communications, or policies relevant to these decisions. 3. l tried to get a drug screen ordered by my new employer from the Bluffton Indiana branch. It's a 30 minute drive and the first time I was told their Internet was down so they couldn't do the screen. Now I'm here for a second time during what is supposed to be their business hours, and they are completely closed up with no sign or anything as to why. Tried to call the corporate headquarter number to file a complaint or to let them know what was going on at their clinic, and found that there is no way to do that in their electronically managed system. You must know a name or an extension of someone already in order to get through and there is no option for complaints or service. You need to do better. If I ever need urgent care, I will avoid any clinic with your name on it. read more

On Site Staff was friendly enough. My issue is directly with the billing department. I was seen on 8/29/2025 and 3 days later started getting snarky text messages wanting payment (12 as of 10/03/2025) on a bill that hadn't even been sent out. I was sent to a collection agency for a $30 bill and added $7.50 for late charge when I had been talking to the corporate office they could not tell me where I owed this ! They were going to investigate it and would get back to me. This was April. I even called back several times and they said they were investigating it and would call me. And I get sent to a collection agency. I paid my bills. Have receipts and insurance statements. I had my insurance company and fast pace on a three way call and the insurance company was telling them I did not owe this. DO NOT GIVE THEM A CREDIT CARD OR DEBIT CARD. THEY WILL CHARGE YOUR BILL TO IT WITHOUT NOTIFYING YOU !! I was charged $250 and never got a message, bill or phone call before they did . The centers have failed to notify me of upcoming visits I was told it could not sent notifications to my phone and an e-mail would have to be done by a person and not automatically. The actually physical location staff is absolutely wonderful. The billing department...HORRIBLE! Do not use your card online to pay a copay, they will keep it on file even if you select for them not to and they will charge it. If you have an issue with your bill you'll never get anyone to contact you in regard to fixing it. Had an error with my insurance which was promptly fixed but resulted in a claim being denied and billed me directly. Once I found out I contacted them to let them know what happened and they are refusing to refile the claim. Even my insurance company is saying to resubmit the claim but they won't. Now they have charged my card $250 which was not authorized. I had to turn off every card that was used previously for copays due to them trying to pull more. You can't get anyone to help. The only way to get to a person is through the chat which takes 2 days for responses. It takes a week for a conversation. This seems to be a common issue from what I've been seeing which I think is more of a scam since they get more from the patient this way instead of through insurance. read more

The doctor named Christopher Lezu said what I was going through was basically nothing, & I should be more worried about getting fired from my job, then coming up to fast pace. When I was sitting in the waiting room 2 people came in wanting urine tests and nobody there to do it. One man was told to come back that day but nobody there. I went to the face pace located in Bolivar Tn. I cut the tip of my finger and when I got there and filled out the necessary paperwork, I was told that I had to pay 75.00 up front and I was also asked to leave my card card number on file for any other balances! I was told that I had to do It that way because people wasn't paying their bill!! the doctor on-site came out and looked at my finger and told me there wasn't anything they could do for me. I ended up going to the ER and they only thing they did there was glued my tip on my nail! I'm really not sure why face pace told me that they couldn't do anything for me??? what's the purpose of them even opening to take care of minor emergencies if they are going to send people to the ER for just minor issues? when I went to the emergency room and I explained to them what happened, I was told that I wasn't the only one who has come in with the same complaint about face pace. someone really needed to look into this. read more
