When I hired them I thought they were "removing" the stipple from my ceiling (since they do have a giant truck advertising themselves as "Stipple Removal") and when I realized they were not removing anything, but only putting a layer of mud OVER the stipple, I expressed concerns to the contractor (Lattimore) about one specific section of the ceiling which had previously had water damage. I said it was a bad idea to mud over damaged drywall, and might cause problems in the future. Ceiling damage in bathroom. Drywall in ceiling replaced. Walls were painted by does not look good. Ceiling corners look bad. Vent light damaged but reinstalled. I bought new kit; could not get them to replace even if I paid them more. I would not use them again. read more

This guy held me up for weeks, only to tell me to find someone else to do the work. Worst experience that I've ever had with a contractor and I deal with many buying, renting and flipping homes. Since I never haggle price or timelines, I was completely baffled by the customer service that I received. He comes to my house, walks through, gives me a price of $3000 to do the work and tells me that his wife will email a quote tonight and the job will start abot 10days out. Standard practice, so I'm fine with all of this, shake his hand and text him my email address as he requested. When I text him a reminder about the quote, a couple days later (because I understand busy and understand that people forget), the response is that it'll be 14 days out and he doesn't usually send the quote until a few days before starting??? So, I know this is going to lead to him forgetting about the job again, so I wait until after the whole 14 days pass, reach out again at which point I'm told to find someone else to do the work and apologies for the incovenience. I'm uploading screenshots of this conversation because this is so bizarre. What a lack of professionalism. Little did he know that I'm a real estate agent and could have referred him to numerous clients had this gone well. I do NOT recommend this company. We hired them for drywall patching repairs and to remove stipple in whole house, but they refused to complete the job. Their stipple removal process is not dustless, though they claim it is, we are still cleaning dust weeks later. Owner was very rude. This is the company with a big square truck that says dustless stipple/popcorn removal in big lettering on the sides, stay away from this guy. read more

BEWARE!!! WORST CONTRACTOR EXPERIENCE EVER!!! Mr. Latimore was hired to complete a large project for the removal of stippled ceiling. He arrived late on his first day of the 14 plus day project. After working only 3 days, he requested a payment nearly half the project cost which was never discussed upfront. When we went to pay Mr. Latimore, he demanded even more money which was unwarranted. Williord became irrate and walked off the job leaving my family including 3 young girls in a horrific financial situation as we were not able to move into our house and had to pay additional rent. The police were even called to the property due to his irrational behavior. He even attempted to place a lien on my house which caused undo emotional hardship. read more
