Because I had no idea. And the fee is crazy low compared to what a credit card is going to charge you. So you can borrow up to $800 against your account for a one time $30 fee. You have 45 days in which to pay this back. **Make sure not to have anything else come out of this account before this is paid off or they will charge you $30 for each occurrence. I did find this very helpful in a pinch. I'm really glad my banker told me about this service. Considering moving my other account from Wells over here, since there's also no fee for a personal account.
