Costco already has heavier bags than grocery stores. (Better bargain.) We would not have been able to safely lift them. Staff took care of it, helped us through checkout, then loaded the minivan. There is no way we would have been able to do this without assistance. My water softener is almost out. So, picking up the salt (somehow, some way) was urgent. Friend and I were able to complete the rest of our shopping (as much as we could tolerate) without issues. Just a delightful shopping experience thanks to the Costco staff assistance. Maybe they should look into hiring some people to work here.
