Not as giant as some other competitors, but Pilot Travel center provides all the items a traveler could need on their travels for a road trip. Everything from food to gas to gifts are covered here with a fairly nice selection for everything. This is particularly true of coffee and other beverage options which cover everything from frozen drinks to an impressive amount of flavored coffees. For goods like chips, soda, beef jerky, etc. there's also a better than average selection at fairly reasonable prices. I also like how the gas pumps were pretty good here and there was plenty of spacing between each station. With several options for filling up gas off the highway, the size and setup of this Travel Center makes it one of my preferred options. read more

A refueling stop is relatively routine. What was not routine was the number of questions the pay at the pump machine required. Unfortunately after all of the questions, I had to see the cashier, leave my driver's license and credit card while I refuels. I did not think I was in Gary, IN but it sure felt like it at this station. The station was very understaffed, only one at the counter tending to 6 customers. Each trucker has to go through a long winded process before they can go back and refuel. It seemed so inefficient. While I had not needed a restroom break, 30 minutes in, I best just make a stop as well. Wasting 30 minutes at a simple refueling stop is such a waste of time, considering my journey was a 2.5 hour run. Imagine every stop on a 10 hour trip! There might be a better option along the way. Might feel safer too. Glad I did not stop here in the evening I think it'll get sketchier when the sun is down. read more

When traveling from Madison to Chicago my husband and I stopped at Pilot Travel Center to get gas for our travel. This place was busy when we pulled in, all of the gas nozzles were taken. We got gas and one of our friends got some beer in the convenience store. There is also a Taco Bell and a video arcade attached to this Pilot Travel Center. They had New Glarus beer, which is a Wisconsin specialty. Pilot Travel Center has everything I need from a travel center and comes highly recommended! read more

A quick stop for re-fueling during road trip home from Minnesota. We wanted to re-fuel and take advantage of the lower gas prices before entering Illinois. Lot and area around the gas pumps was well maintained. The squeegee and water for cleaning our windshield was in top condition. Normally you see rips in the sponge or tears in the rubber blade, but this one was like new. Inside the convenience store, you'll find most things you'd need on a road trip. They had a good variety of beverages and snack foods. The restrooms were clean and for a busy station, is a major accomplishment. read more

We are currently in Shower 1, and right in the middle of my Wife shaving her legs, the water turned very cold, and never returned to normal temperatures. We called the Manager, who said she would call maintenance to resolve the issue, but the maintenance man turned out to be the employee who cleans showers, and informed us that there was nothing he could do to make the water hot again. Assuming these Pilot Showers work off water from a heater, the fact that nobody could fix this is ridiculous. We had to get dressed and leave this location to find another shower and finish. I'm never coming back to this location, and I'm leaving this review on every platform that I can find, because I am angry and petty AF. read more

People were friendly - but wow - dirtiest pilot I have ever seen! Floors were very dirty, as were the bathrooms.

Came here late at night as this was my last fuel stop before I made it back to Chicago. Came here at midnight so this place was pretty dead. It's a fairly decent place, typical gas station. Bathrooms were by far the worst. Staff was distracted on their phones. Shelves were a bit unorganized. All in all its was an underwhelming gas stop experience. read more

Pilot is my go to place when I'm traveling the parking lots are big plus the gas is always competitive. The coffee is always free and I have the philmor refillable coffee mug which is $1.19. They also have a nice selection of shirts with printing of the state your in. The restrooms are big and always clean read more

like many older pilots this one's Taco Bell got a remodel in the dining room. it's an older building in an older facility this is one of pilots old Travel centers..it shows its age and side they do have the bean-to-cup coffee the bathrooms are very small by today's Pilot Travel Center standards. this is a very heavily trafficked pilot because of the state line of Wisconsin and where Interstate 43 comes to an end from Green Bay through Milwaukee.. coffee shop fresh they do have the bean-to-cup they have beer. there's not really a whole lot other the fact I didn't shower here this time I have in the past and the Taco Bell isn't bad. but like most of your other smaller pilots there's not really much to go on and write a novel about it's like pretty much any other Pilot Travel Center. the convenience is here though there's a Walmart supercenter in walking distance about a block away by Menards directly across the street and other restaurants within walking distance. read more

I Heart Pilot Truck Stops ! this one has a Wendy's Burgers in it, some have Taco Bell or the Arches or a Subway Sammich shop they always seem to have what I need and what I don't, this morning I was looking for some good old Wisconsin Cheese Curds to take home with me, they have a little Island of Wisconsin Cheeses and Pepperoni sticks and Cheese Wheels, and not bad prices on them for a gas station you know I found some too I got 3 bags because I know I won't be eating them by my self, and the jack ass's here in Washington state think curds are a delicacy so charge out the A-Hole for them and you don't get a 1/3 as much for your money so this will keep us happy for at least a day or two :) Remember let your Curds get to room Temp before eating them for heat up slightly in the Microwave they should Squeak when you bite into them, that is why they are also called Squeaky Cheese they are also good breaded and deep fat fried so too Beecher's Cheese here is a Big F - You I have real curds from Wisconsin read more

I go to pilots when I am on road trips, their size commands a certain level of security and people paying attention if you plan on sleeping in your car either by intention or by necessity. Amount the travel center franchises pilot is the best. What they lack in healthy food choices compared to chains like Kwik Trip, they make up for in clean amenities like showers compared to loves or TA. This one is little different. I gave it 4/5 because there was soap scum on the stainless shower cover, and the soap dispenser was a little dirty as well. Nothing a once over with a cloth wouldn't fix. read more
