This is some new system of their's. The contract we signed called for them to use crushed rock to backfill and soil to cover the rock. They used, without our notification or consent, bags of light weight material like pumice or gypsum in plastic bags as the fill instead of rock. I uncovered these bags after they left the job site and, when questioned about the matter, they claimed this was all our wall needed. I should have made them dig up the bags of fill and made them use rock but they assured me it's how these things are done for small projects like ours. After the workers were made aware of our concern and discovery of the bags, they became quite hostile to us. The job site manager was especially rude and made disparaging remarks about previous work done around our place by another company. Now, 16months later, the wire mesh is bulging out excessively between the poles and the areas where they used the light weight bags has sunk down and is soft to walk on. I would not trust this company to perform the job as spelled out in their contract and, if things don't go well, expect hostility on their part.

I called the number on the side of the truck and received more of an off-handed dismissal. It is unacceptable for a business to treat the neighbors of their customers with disdain and disrespect. If you look at the photo attached to the review both vehicles blocking the street have the companies logo on them. The vehicle on the left is being offloaded and understandably where it's at. It's the vehicle on the right that presents the problem. There was no reason for it to be parked where it was and should have been placed elsewhere to allow for traffic to move about.

I absolutely loved Super Friends Moving!…read more I used them on my recent move July 30th from North Seattle to the South Waterfront of Portland. I booked them about 5 or 6 weeks before the move. I emailed them to add a sofa dump to my list of needs about 2 weeks before the move, and received a very quick response. I will admit that i was nervous not receiving a conformation email or call closer to the date of my move, but nevertheless my movers called 15 minutes before 8am, and were promptly on time for our move! I had a one bedroom apartment with no bed frame, desk, or sofa (easier to buy new IKEA furniture than haul cross-state) and about 80 boxes, mainly medium size. They packed up the apartment in a little over 2 and a half hours, and unpacked in under 2, even though we moved onto the 6th floor (thankfully with an elevator). With the three hour travel time (even though it took them longer in traffic), and the $315 truck rental flat fee charge, our total cost, including the 10% cash discount (BEST DEAL EVER) was exactly as quoted to us, at $1035 Best money ever spent. They were fast, efficient, friendly, and put all the boxes in the right room. Thanks so much Super Friends!
