They were able to fit me into their schedule so that I could have other repairs completed by a different vendor. They showed up prompt and on time as scheduled. They were well-mannered, very professional and courteous. They were quick in troubleshooting the problem, very knowledgeable about what was causing the problem and fixed all my issues expeditiously and even upgraded my existing equipment to make it more user friendly and safer. When it was time for payment they realized they quoted me an older cheaper price. They did not attempt to coerce me into paying the correct price. They even apologized for misquoting me the incorrect price and stuck to the lower pricing that I was quoted and accepted that payment. I also chose to go with A.R.E. once I found out they were not only a woman owned and minority owned business, but they are also a locally owned company that cares about there customers. During these times it is more important than before that we spend our money locally and keep our economy moving forward.

I'm grateful for them!

Mahmoud came out the first business day after I contacted, exactly on time, and he was courteous and efficient and got the job done correctly. It might be a small thing too- but I was going to install it with only basic grounding set up with the device, and totally missed that there was a SECOND type of grounding that's best. Mahmoud asked if there was an extra little green screw (that I had missed) and we found it and he did the install even better. The extra attention to detail to triple check it was done exactly right let me know that Mahmoud and Jolof electric will be my first call next time! Glad I went with a professional and felt the price was very fair!

I used him for a residential task - partly cleanup and redesign of previous electrical work, and the rest new work - and it was completed methodically, efficiently, and with appropriate attention to detail. I would recommend him at the top of your list for licensed electrician searches.

I got a schedued work date and requested an estimate via text with Mary Beth. I never received the estimate or an invoice. The communication was via text. A group of workers came and did the work (not including John). John mis remembered the detials of the initial walk through and had to go get more materials. I communicated clearly that I needed hardiboard. Some materials were left at our home after the job. Months later when my HOA was ready to paint my home I was informed that the material put on my home was in fact not hardiboard. I communicated this immediatlely to Mary Beth. She scheduled John to come back out to view the work with our HOA president. John said that the materials left were not from the work he did and disputed with me that the material was in fact hardiboard. I had to get Mary Beth on the phone and use my texts in order for John to admit that it was the incorrect material and they needed to remove it and redo the job. After agreeing to remove the incorrect material in exchange for hardiboard Mary Beth began making excuses about personal issues and scheduling for 2-3 months. She NEVER called me I had to keep reaching back out to them for weeks. It was not until I asked for thier liscense information to file a report with the BBB that Mary Beth informed me that they do NOT have a liscense. That communication finally opened up thier schedule and they came out to redo the work in the following days. John did not apologize or even show his face during this redo. He came and took photos and talked with the workers but never spoke to my husband or I again. Im glad we did not have to file civally to rectify the issue. I would not call this company for a large job for someone inquiring. Not at all again personally.

Amazing pricing, insanely swift responses and service, astounding levels of respect for our home,…read moreaccommodating and absolutely reliable. Homeowner's insurance company decided to inform us at the near last minute that they wanted our panels changed, despite knowing about the panels when we bought the home almost a year ago now. We had 2 indoor electrical panels, one that, thanks to Keith, we discovered was actually not up to code for another reason we didn't know, which was because of it's placement. Found these folks on Angie's list. Submitted a request for a call through there around 6 pm - 7 pm time frame. Keith called us within 30 minutes of that request. He was very understanding and came out within 2 days of that call. When Keith and another gentlemen (I regret not getting his name), came out for the quote, he was super polite. He knew exactly what we needed and told us exactly what he was going to do. Within a week later, they were at our home replacing the panels as well as bringing the panel that was placed in a bad spot. They also discovered some additional wiring that needed to be changed out and immediately informed us, as well as an estimate on the cost of it. The entire time they worked on our home, they wore PPE, and minimized the mess that was made. The sheetrock that was cut was placed back appropriately. No holes left or major gaps were left afterwards. All small bits of trash was thrown in the garbage. Not a single bit of junk left in the house or in the yard on the side of the house. Doors were kept closed as much as possible. (We have pets and we tried to cool down the house as low as possible prior to them arriving.) Once the project as done, he took pictures for us to send to our insurance company, as well as an email with other information. This whole project was on a tight budget due to it being last minute, but it was absolutely worth every penny just alone by the fact of how Keith and his coworker treated us and our home. Two other electricians quoted us nearly double what these guys quoted us. While they were nice, they didn't seem to notice some of the other code violations, nor did they seem to fully understand what the insurance company was asking for. If we need electrical work in the future, we will absolutely be giving these guys a call again.

He was on his way home from the end of his work day, but cheerfully agreed to drive over to check out our problem. He arrived within 15 minutes! He diagnosed the problem and explained to us what had happened and what needed to be done to fix it. He gave us an estimate. We requested him to fix the problem that evening if possible as we had no electrical power to the house. He agreed, went to procure the repair parts and materials he needed, and returned within the hour with a helper so that he could accomplish the task faster for us. He worked until after dark to fix the problem, resulting in us having electricity restored to our home! Keith was friendly, professional, organized, and neat. I think the price for the repair was fair ($1,100) as it was done on a same day emergency basis. We very much appreciated Keith accommodating us so that we did not have to go through a night without power and A/C. I would highly recommend Keith and will certainly use his services again in the future when the need arises.
