RIPOFF ALERT: This company is looking to take advantage of their craft. Ciro, their "lead…read moretechnician" came out to my family's home to assess our A/C system and provide an estimate. After waiting a day from their initial assessment to "review cost of parts", they returned to our residence and quoted us a whopping $3,273.00 for the work. When I asked questions such as which parts needed to be repaired or what was the cost breakdown of parts/labor, Ciro could not provide an adequate response, became offended and told me I "crossed the line". Wow, really? The number $3,273 seems really precise but he could not tell me how he reached it. Bottom line is they saw my family in a dire situation but assumed we were not intelligent enough to ask the proper questions to understand the repair. But there is good news. We had a second company come out: Premiere Air Conditioning & Heating. They assessed the situation and even shared the part number that needed to be replaced. I tried to find the part at a better price and could not (because they have good suppliers and were not trying to up charge for the part). They were able to provide a cost breakdown between parts and labor for the job. We paid less than 1/3 (~$1000) for the job instead of $3,273. A majority of that cost was the parts. Believe me when I say, stay away from Trinity Home Services. They are looking to take advantage of you. You can read more about the great experience I had with Premiere Air Conditioning & Heating in my review there. UPDATED (8/22/19): Response to your comment on 8/19 below Ciro P. If you honestly feel that you are not trying to take advantage of clients than you should increase transparency. You should be able to provide a very basic breakdown of the "long term" work you are performing on behalf of your customer. You state you choose not to perform band-aid fixes but STILL have not sent me a summary of the issues you discovered that led you to your estimate. I did pay the inspection fee, at least I deserve that? The best answer I received from our discussion on the work you were performing was "we are taking this journey together". This leaves me with the impression that you are not confident in what needs to be repaired and are quoting steep to make it worth your while. Not the way to do business in my honest opinion. The conversation definitely felt one way and reminds me of other rip off conversations I have had with unscrupulous business men in the past.

During my first call, the person I spoke with said he would come out to survey the area, but he later rescheduled due to heavy traffic. The next day, Tim came to my home, looked over the area where the work was needed, gave me a price, and told me he would return the following week to complete the installation. After that visit, I never heard back from him. I called and messaged with no response. It wasn't until my third attempt that he replied, saying he would reschedule for the following Monday -- but he never followed through. Overall, I'm disappointed by the lack of professionalism and communication, and I would not recommend this company based on my experience.

My experience with this company has been an absolute nightmare . I hired Timmy and Sons to do…read moreelectrical improvements as suggested in my inspection report for my new home. He did a number of projects that I hired him for, totalling over $6,000. After the work was completed, I began to notice fixtures and outlets that worked before no longer worked and the new installed outlets never worked to beging with. I brought this to Timothy's attention and he told me that he was out of town and he'd be back the following week, so instead of waiting for him to return I reached out to another electrician for a second opinion. This new electrician along with my contractor looked at the new work that was done and found some deeply concerning code violations and dangerous new wiring configurations. I now have to have all of the wiring TimAfter learning of these code violations I reached Timothy with my concerns and evidence of negligence asking if he had any response, he denied any wrong doing and responsibility. After being met with dismissal of my concerns, I began to look further into the company. After searching and contacting both the state contractor board and Orleans parish board I discovered that Timothy and his company are not licensed to do electrical work. He misrepresented himself as a licensed and insured electrician, which if I had known before hand I would have never hired him. His not being licensed also meant that he didn't pull permits for anything of the work he did, which I was under the impression he did. If you want your electrical work done without permits and not to code go with Timmy and Sons, if not avoid this business like the plague.
