Scoliosis etc. I've done a tour of doctors, scans, and PT and all of it has been of middling success. Mostly at PT in America one learns some basic stretches and maybe some light exercises. But once you know your routine there's not much more to offer. Meanwhile this institution focuses on analyzing and building a solid program to really help your back. At its core is chiropractor services and a lot of very helpful chiropractors that will give you a detailed analysis of your back issues and constantly check up on you. From there they offer massage therapy, Pilates based PT, and some other things I haven't tried out yet. I go weekly and do a 50 min back massage and adjustment session. The massage is really high quality. More like acupressure. I'd recommend trying different massage therapists and finding the one that works best for you. Every human is different. The appointment was fairly brief (around 15 minutes) and felt more standardized than tailored to my specific needs. This may work well for many patients, but for me, I tend to respond better to a more customized approach. I also think body type can play a role in chiropractic care. While Dr. Bauman is clearly knowledgeable and professional, those in larger bodies may feel more comfortable with a chiropractor who has greater physical strength or uses different techniques. The office does offer some nice amenities, including a rolling adjustment table, access to massage therapists, and discounted rates on certain days. My insurance doesn't cover chiropractic visits, and the $60 out-of-pocket cost felt reasonable for this area. Overall, this practice may be a good fit for some, but I left wishing my regular chiropractor had availability, as I didn't feel quite as confident that my migraine symptoms were fully resolved.
