Her front desk staff is difficult to work with. They are unclear on whether or not they are in or out of network, unless you call your insurance and figure it out yourself. Their calculations for services with insurance and deductibles is not clear and they don't seem to want to take the time to explain it. If you are a busy person and cannot manage your business by phone and prefer email -- working with this office in the long term is difficult. Also, they try to negotiate/barter the price for certain services, and it undermines my confidence in the quality of their services as a result. I have mixed feelings about my experience at the clinic --each time is different and this is what causes my different reviews.

Curb Appeal - No Deal…read more I've learned to be cautious of offices with great curb appeal--it often masks deeper issues. That was absolutely the case here. I specifically booked the first appointment of the day (8:00 AM) so I could get to work on time. I arrived early, yet watched two patients who came in after me get taken back first. I wasn't seen until 8:40 AM. Completely unacceptable for a first appointment slot. Things only went downhill from there. The hygienist entered without introducing herself and immediately began working. I had to ask who she was. Her approach was aggressive and impersonal--more like a mechanic working on a car than a clinician treating a patient. Despite being told in advance that I have significant dental sensitivity and prior negative experiences, there was no adjustment in care, no communication, and no effort to check in with me during the procedure. She misinterpreted my reactions, incorrectly stating I had "pocket sensitivity" without ever asking what I was actually feeling. On top of that, she struggled with both the equipment and the computer system, repeatedly needing assistance. This did not inspire confidence. Adding to the discomfort, there was also a noticeable and unprofessional issue with personal hygiene. After more waiting, the dentist finally came in. She was polite, but it was clear she had only just reviewed my history. Despite acknowledging my sensitivity, I had already been placed with the wrong hygienist--something that should have been addressed beforehand, not after the fact. Then came the sales pitch. Within minutes, I was told I needed three additional crowns and a root canal. The interaction felt transactional, not clinical. At one point, she began performing an oral cancer screening without explaining what she was doing. I was startled mid-procedure, and only afterward was it explained. That lack of informed consent is unacceptable. Although I was hesitant, I agreed to give the practice another chance and scheduled a crown replacement with the same dentist. Shortly after, I received a confirmation email assigning me to a completely different dentist--someone I had never met. When I called to cancel, the response did little to restore trust. It felt like a bait-and-switch. Too many missteps. Too many breakdowns in communication, professionalism, and basic patient care. I ultimately returned to my previous dentist, paid out of pocket, and received a completely different--and far more credible--assessment. No root canal. No additional crowns. Just the one crown replacement I actually needed. That alone says everything. This practice demonstrates serious issues with ethics, patient care, and business integrity. I would not recommend it.

I was referred to this dentist. My first impression was they were money hungry b/c I came in to get an opinion and potentially find a permanent dentist. He takes X-rays that I had to pay for fully out of pocket (I have insurance) at the end of that appt he says the next appt will be for X-rays of my full mouth and a cleaning. why couldn't you do the full X-rays that day? Against my better judgment I proceeded with getting fillings at this location. Towards the end of the appointment I started getting a headache (my mouth has been open for longer than an hour with barely any breaks most likely 0). The whole time I had a suction piece in my mouth that aIso keeps my mouth open restricting me from closing it. I raise my hand to notify Dr. Joshua Davis. He told he he was going to be done in five minutes and did not let me say anything. My temple was throbbing on the same side I was getting fillings, I decided to take out the suction instead of being ignored again. Dr Joshua Davis says "Ughhh I'm going to have to start over" Would you rather me pass out in your chair and sue?? I told him I had a headache and I just needed like 10 seconds. He says he can't just leave holes in my teeth and asks if I meant that I'm leaving. I told him AGAIN that I just needed 10 seconds, I have a headache. I never said I was leaving or got up slightly. I continued having a light headache on and off for the rest of the week. At the end of my appt there was a lot of extra product around my teeth, I felt a little hole in the middle. I asked if it would fall off eventually, he said yes. Later on I still feel a small hole and decide to make an appointment. I go in and Dr. Davis says it was extra product and made it seem like he was going to fix it. He proceeds to drill deeper making a bigger dip into my tooth. He asked if it felt better, I told him I still feel a dip. He said he would add something idk. After he said "All done". It didn't feel like he did anything. Now had a dip in my tooth, no longer a small hole. I was still numb and I'm not a dentist so I decided to give him the benefit of the doubt. I should not have. Deanna asked if everything was better or something and I said "I still feel a dip in my tooth". No response. The numbing is wearing off, the more I feel my tooth the more I don't understand why there's now a deep curvature in the middle of my tooth. I call the office I speak with Deanna and explain the situation, she writes it down. I ask what's the best time to call and speak with Dr. Davis and mention I can only call on my work breaks. After a few times of me calling at the "right" time and not being able to speak with him, I made an appt. I go in and he says "Your tooth is concave and I'm going to make it convex" I remember bc you said it twice or more. I understand what you were saying, I DO NOT understand why you left it concave in the first place. He told me he had to drill deeper into my tooth so the product can adhere. Third times the charm huh? You WOULD NOT have to keep drilling deeper into my tooth if you did it correctly the first time. The lesson is trust your intuition, always speak up and people will always try to play in your face.

They are both patient and easy going. Sadly many provider offices have subpar bedside manner and staff with attitude. I'm just glad Metro Dental sets and achieves high standards. Other providers should take note! He and the staff there are great, I had some pain yesterday morning and they were able to squeeze me in(they weren't open yet but they have the phones set up to there mobiles which is really great!), they had me in and out for a root canal in less than an hour, and it didn't hurt at all! he was very good with talking to me and letting me know what was going on, and answered all the questions I had, I strongly recommend them! Oh yeah, Tia rocks too, i'd be in trouble if I didn't mention that. I'm not scared to go to the dentist now, and I'm happy to have found a place with good people.

My son is autistic and it was always torture bringing him to the dentist. Since we brought him to see Dr Turk, he actually asks when he will be going back. We affectionately call Dr. Turk the "autism whisperer". The whole staff here is great, always so happy to help out an make each visit go smoothly. I love the open floor plan that allows all my children to have their teeth cleaned at once and I can sit in between them. Saves so much time and headaches. Our next adventure here will be braces with Dr. Lambert. My son is so excited! I will keep you all posted of our progress but I have a feeling it will be a success.
