We are impressed by Dr. Paonessa. He is skillful, smart, and down to earth. We felt as if we have known him for a while during our first five minutes of conversation. He did major procedures swiftly. He established great connection with our little boy and my boy put his trust right away on him pulling one major teeth. On another major procedure, he remove wisdom teeth skillfully fast. He is way above average in our opinion. I wish there are more doctors like him. The office also has a great and friendly team. Kathy, its office manager in Rye, is wonderful, helpful, lovely and will go extra miles when it comes to helping patients.

This I wouldn't care about except that he had done surgery on this person and didn't remember that I was not her. Dr. Petti was referred to my family to have two extractions for my 13 yr old daughter. She is a very nervous about needles and wanted to make sure that Dr. Petti talked her through the procedure. He was short, curt and completely rude. He cut her off, told her "enough is enough.," You are too old to act like this." and proceeded to tell her to leave. I was able to calm her down and we were going to try again. My daughter remained nervous. We tried again and then he said that I needed to leave and he would "handle her" and then he was rude to me telling me that he had to ask me to leave four times. "If I have to tell you to go to the waiting room four times no wonder I can't get her to listen." I took my daughter and we left. PARENTS BEWARE

I called when I got there and a lady told me the staff would call me when he was ready and they never called me I called 1/2 later and it was " oooh yeah he's ready " ... ok anyways he did my Apicoectomy and I went back because I was having pain he gave me a rinse and literally made my tooth in more pain. Basically just told me " again remember only about 70% of these are successful " and me just wanting to get out of paid pain I paid oop more than what the girl quotes me from just last week. so I go back explaining I'm in pain after the rinse and ask what his opinion is and he says " if your still in that much pain then there's nothing else to do but to just pull the tooth " and I'm sitting there like hello I'm 26 I am not pulling my first molar are you crazy. Clearly you don't know what's going on and I don't know what's going on so I'm going for a second opinion. Then then offered me a dentist but at that point I figured they were teaming up to take my money hahaha so I didn't use their guy and went with my own and feeling better. Dr. Ghobadi worked for 2 years to get the implant to secure to my jaw. This has required numerous appointments and procedures. Dr. Ghobadi is a great dentist. He is skilled, personable, and professional. He explains everything to his patients in plain English and answers all questions. Through this process he has done an immeasurable amount of work above and beyond what it should normally take. Several times I told him that I was willing to pay more for the additional work, but he continually refuses to accept any further payment. He is a totally stand up guy and a great dentist. His procedures are as near painless as any you'd ever find. Once when traveling in Europe, I found myself with a bad toothache. I called him and he was terribly concerned about my flying home with out taking antibiotics first. He urged me to see a local doctor and call him back to make sure Id take enough medication to survive the landing. He was just as caring as if I was sitting in his chair.
