I see Dr. Ginnebaugh, and he's great-- and ends every appointment with a recording of his findings for his records. Hilarious, actually. I've seen most of the physicians in the office (after going here for so long, you eventually see them all) and they're all pretty great. My only complaint is that, as a family practice, there are often crowds of sick kids with their parents in the waiting room on weekdays-- an experience that can be a bit unnerving if you're childless and not used to angry, uncomfortable, sick kids. However, I guess it means they must be pretty good with kids. (Hey-- my mom took me there so they must be.) And there's always stickers at the checkout, which makes even adults like me happy.

They do follow-up calls after your visit even if it is good news.

One employee in particular is very aggressive, argumentative and unprofessional. She has literarily screamed at me over the phone and once hung up on me at closing time. This pattern of abusive behavior continued with her even using a false first name when speaking with me. I finally had enough abuse from this employee and called Dr. Winder to notify her of this employee's horrible behavior. This was in October of 2014. I had hoped to have a conversation with the doctor to let her know that two patients were going elsewhere. As of March 22, 2015, she has never contacted me. They are also inept at calling in simple refills on scripts for important medications like blood pressure, heart and anti-seizure meds. 8 of 10 times they do not follow through to the point that it had become a running joke with the Pharmacist and me. You should plan on a week or so before they "get around to it". If you're looking to hear excuses from your physician's office, then this is your place.

I have gone to Dr G for a long time and she has provided good care. However, I know she is going to retire soon. It has gotten very busy there. When I called to schedule my appointment the phone contact wasn't very nice because I had to cancel a previous appointment. I went in with 3 problems. One, pain in my foot. It had hurt for several weeks. She said it was arthritis so we'll just keep an eye on it. Huh? Pain is pain. The other was shoulder pain which was caused by another medication I was on which went into a long discussion of why they won't prescribe the med I once used that used to work to help me sleep. Now they prescribe sleeping pills that cause agitation and muscle tension. She talked so much about why she couldn't prescribe what I wanted that she never addressed my shoulder pain. My shoulder still wakes me up at night. I was so upset and worn out by that point that I forgot about addressing my shoulder.
