I could be wrong but I am theorizing it's because I have made many lifestyle changes over to holistic healing and stopped MANY of my medications. I told him that today and he must not understand because his whole attitude seemed to change even refusing to finish talking to me!! He sent his two nice medical assistants in to talk to me instead and then made me leave his office saying I was taking up too much of his staffs time while crying because he had tremendously hurt my feelings because of the things I overheard him say about me to his staff in the hallway!! I have beat my diabetes, lost 40 pounds and gotten off of approximately 19 medications in the passed year because I am trying to beat my diseases and problems and NOT just cover them up with another pill!! Which may cause more side effects and usually does for me!! So the only thing I can conclude from my appointment is that he doesn't agree with holistic healing as he portrayed when I first mentioned it. Looking for a new doctor who wants to help me in my battle of my many health conditions and not make me leave the office crying and feeling like I did something wrong for asking too many questions or whatever it may be that I did wrong!! He seems to be good at PRETENDING to care about his patients but MOST CERTAINLY DOESN'T if you don't just pay your copay, take 3 more pills, take up too much time, ask questions, and get out. And when ever I've tried calling over the phone to ask a question it is almost always insisted to make an appointment so I can pay yet another copay!! Even for the simplest things!! I also asked if we could do a health plan together as to avoid always forgetting something when I leave with either them or me and they basically looked at me like are you joking!?!? I have been taking HUGE steps to make lifestyle changes to get better and I will now be finding a new doctor to HELP me in my MISSION!! Goodbye!!!!

Answers ALL questions. I feel very comfortable asking anything I want to Dr Henk! He has a very good bedside manner. His staff is very friendly and aware of your concerns when you visit the office. Yout ake the elevator up to get to his Suite. The wait isn't long upon checking in. When he first came, he was surprised to get a different doctor other than Dr. Chalmers. He then learned that it was a learning facility for those in their residency. He decided to choose a different doctor within because he was given a female. There was nothing wrong with the female, he just had a male preference. His new doctor helped him out with his blood pressure issues. Due to my boyfriend's history with it, he was able to prescribe him the meds he had in the past. He had him check it frequently to record it. My boyfriend came in again today to get a refill and to ensure his blood pressure was stable. We also wanted to ensure that the pills were working fine with his body. We are both pretty satisfied. Due to this doctor, he is able to now live more comfortably without much discomfort.
