If I could give Tomas more stars, I would!! No reviews will give justice to all that he's done with my hair. Since my hair is pretty thin I'm always worried that a hair dresser will burn it or do too much to it. Tomas has given me great advise and I've seen my hair grow quite a bit. It usually feels like my hair grows very slowly but not in the last year or so since I started to see Tomas. I got married a couple of months back and used a top stylist in the wedding industry and she even commented and how great my haircut looked!! Tomas is an amazing stylist and colorist, I trust his opinion and he has helped my hair healthfully transition from Black to blonde. It did take time , because of the type of color I used before but my hair has never been so healthy! He slowly transitioned me because he knew how much I loved my long hair and i was afraid with all the home hair colorings and box color processes I did to myself That it would be frizzy, ugly and fall out in clumps. I have to say I'm surprised Tomas is still in business. I went there years ago because I had bought a promotional coupon for what seemed like a pretty good deal. The cut was quite bad -I had to go to another salon for them to fix it. Of course this is not the fault of Tomas personally, it was one of his stylists who cut my hair, not him. I was told to come back later in the month for the manicure because there was no manicurist working there then. Flash forward to my return for the manicure. There was still no manicurist. I asked the receptionist if I could extend the expiration date until they did get a manicurist. She seemed supportive and called Tomas over to discuss the matter. He became quite angry and yelled at her to "shut up and keep out of this" and then told me he would not offer me anything for the balance of services left on the coupon. When I tried to explain the situation, he walked towards me and sstopped just a whisper short of actually touching me. He was obviously well-rehearsed in the art of intimidation. He then ordered me to leave his shop! ered me to leave his shop. I was so shocked that any shop owner woud speak that way not only to a client, but also to an emplyee in front of other clients and employees! Neither of us had spoken disrespectifully or even marginally raised our voices. I am ashamed and embarassed to admit that he intimated me so much that I did leave the shop. I did later complain to the police who convinced me it was better to lose $30 on the coupon scam than to let someone like him have control over my hair and/or nails. I sincerely hope that he is no longer feels the need to offer phony coupon deals or bully his staff and clients, but I have no intention of ever returning to find out. read more
