While some might say 'it's just a dog,' anyone who has truly loved a pet knows they are a family member. The team here treated Luna--and us--with that exact level of care, honor, and respect. Tony was the one who helped me, and he was absolutely incredible. He was so kind and empathetic from the very start. He even took the time to call me the day after I dropped our girl off just to let me know she was on her way to the cremation service, which provided so much peace of mind. Remarkably, he had her ashes back to us by the very next day. What touched us most was the pickup process. They didn't just hand her over like a transaction or a 'take-out order.' Instead, Tony invited us into a quiet meeting room, brought Luna to us with grace, and sat and talked with us for a while. That small act of humanity turned a very dark, sad situation into something peaceful. As if their kindness wasn't enough, they even have a resident 'comfort dog' of their own who can attend services to help people through their grief. It's clear that Tony and the rest of the team truly understand the bond between humans and their animals. I am beyond grateful to have found them, and I would trust them with any loved one--furry or otherwise.

A business in this line of work should strive to bring comfort and respect, not add to a family's pain. I wouldn't entrust this funeral home with a stray animal, let alone a loved one. You can imagine our devastation after not only losing my dad but then having an incompetent funeral director drop the ball and never bother to inform us the Navy wasn't coming. When he called today after getting nasty with me via text when confronted after my dads memorial service Bob told me that he didn't realize that Friday was a federal holiday and that was why he couldn't confirm the detail for a Saturday funeral. Now mind you he had almost 4 weeks to do it as we had my dad cremated. Well I guess he was the only person in the US who didn't realize that the Navy is a federal outfit and they would be closed on Juneteenth. He never thought to call prior to that even though I submitted all necessary paperwork to him well before the service. Oh yes, I had to get all of the paperwork. That was another task he as the director couldn't handle! My mom even touched base with him a few days prior to my dad's service and he told her it was a go. He then lied and stated that he never said that after I confronted him. Through all of this my dad never received the military honors at his burial and it has caused my family so much emotional distress and we are even more devastated that my dad never received the burial he deserved. All because of utter incompetence!

I took a mint after our first "stop" and it was actually a soft, nasty/stale candy instead. I spit it in the trash. The one employee didn't know where my friend, the DAUGHTER of the deceased, was and looked at me clueless. Not good AT ALL. It's nice that they have tissue boxes a-plenty and I believe, small water bottles as well. The only decor, if you will, that I liked, was the cage of cute finches.

No one needs to be "upselling" or creepiness at such a difficult time and these guys understood that. They were so nice and gave us a good price. They other places tried to undercut their price but then threw in hidden fees. We didn't like that the other funeral homes did this so we chose Pancoast instead. They made a wonderful video montage of my mother's photos. It was beautiful and very professional. They made her look alive, it felt like she was sleeping, compared to what she looked like in the hospital. They did her make up very well and she looked like an angel. If you're looking for a great place to lay your love one to rest, this is the place for you. They were so organized and even had a local pastor speak at the funeral. There was no pressure for anyone to talk, if you don't want to speak you don't have to, they'll say a prayer at your request. They took her casket to the chapel at the cemetery and the priest said a few words and we placed our flowers on the casket and they buried her after everyone was gone. The best funeral home I have ever been to, thank you guys for your warm smiles and kindness. You made it so much easier for us and did a wonderful job with the service.
