Located in Auburn, Green Acres/ Eisley's has knowledgeable employee if you ever have any questions. I have personally taken a picture of a house plant I was gifted and they were able to help me with its care and it is taking off like crazy now. Key word I was given... patience! My last couple visits, I was looking for some tomato, jalapeno, onion, and zucchini plants for my garden (I love zucchini, but I specifically have a bloody mary/ salsa garden). Also, some herbs for my cute little herb garden. The prices here are hard to beat! I went outside for my starts, which were under $4! I also picked up some thyme, rosemary, oregano, dill, cilantro, and chives all at great prices! Don't stop there. This nursery is HUGE! I was also looking for flowers that will attract bees. My tip is to watch which ones one bees are going to. Of course, they absolutely love all the flowers here, but I get the ones I see the most bees on. Now pay attention! Here's another tip! The plants that are in full sun, you should plant in full sun. The ones in shade, those you should plant in a shady area. There are trees and bushes available of so many kinds that are also either in full sun or partial shade, full shade... so pick the one that well be right for the spot you are trying to fill at home. There are planters and pots of so many sizes and made up of different materials with so many patterns available. The indoor house plants are my favorite. Can you guys guess how many indoor plants I have at home since I am a plant lover? Just inside, I have 19 plants (and counting)... so yes I am a plant lover!! If you have any questions, anyone working here is happy to help. They do offer returns, but not on vegetable plants or 1 quart potted plants. You must have your receipt (you can look up their return policy online). This nursery will put the motivation back in your attitude with just one visit. For folks,…read morelike myself, that didn't know.... the Eisley family sold their business to the local Green Acres franchise in 2020. The Eisleys founded the shop in 1932. But even though the nursery is a Green Acre's now, the majority of plants are still grown in the on site nurseries. They have a tremendously large inventory of plants, shrubs, and trees. The inventory was healthy and plentiful. The pricing is competitive to the big box shops. The nursery is well staffed and even though not all staff are knowledgeable about plants, they will quickly get someone that is to assist you. They also sell pottery, gardening supplies, sprinkler and irrigation equipment, bagged soil, seeds, and garden art. Another thing to note is that unlike the other Green Acres, this shop doesn't sell BBQ grills and patio furniture. But they do offer complimentary fresh popped popcorn which the other Green Acres don't have. The popcorn has been an Eisley tradition since 1991.

Everyone in my family found a couple of things to purchase. My only callouts would be that it would be nice if they cared some local things or at least called out what in the store was from local vendors. Sunday, May 17th, I found myself in downtown Auburn, after visiting old town"s vintage and antique pop-up. I walked into the store and thought-wow great merchandising! I walked around for a bit and thought what a great store. It did not seem that there were any employees there. I walked the length of the store (about 5 minutes) and found that there was a young woman at the counter. This person did not greet me, or acknowledge me in any way. They saw me, and obviously heard the click of my boots on the tile floor, they then looked me and went back to clipping their toenails(?) I asked if this was their store. They said "What?" I repeated my question, and they said "no." and I said "It shows because you did not welcome your customers." And she proceeded to say "You are welcome to leave!" And I did. There were three things I would've purchased, (their prices are pretty good), but not on that day and not with that person behind the cash register. I spoke to another shop owner in town and they mentioned that they were saddened by my interaction because apparently the owner is a very customer friendly person. I'll pop in on a day when they are there.

It's on Lincoln Street in the heart of Downtown. Street parking or a lot up the hill. It's the cutest shop!! Think brick walls, and lots of character and built in shelves.... Treasures both old and new. A great collection of vintage pieces and vintage feeling pieces. I was happy they were in Fall mode instead of already having everything Christmas out. It was beautiful and warm for autumn. They have classes and I hope to take one. There was a selection of paper ephemera for crafting, home decor, fragrances and more. Definitely worth a visit. Can't wait to go back!

I work so much, I really just wanted to get a few pots for my pants at home, some dirt, and move on. This shopping trip was so quick, I easily found some nice indoor pots for my monstera plants at a really good price! I usually have a grand ol time whether I'm looking at flooring, appliances, electrical... lamps, lighting. There are so sorts of things to find here to improve your home! ... but every once in a while.... In the garden area, they have quite a few check out stands. Some are self check out and when I approached, there was an employee that insisted on helping, not knowing I was trying to be left alone. I told her I was going to do self check out. As she was watching me, she jumped in and told me that I didn't scan one of the 4 pots that was in my cart. I told her if she had looked at the screen, it would show I had scanned it already. I stood aside and asked her if she wanted to count the items in my cart and count the items in the screen. She said no and went on that she thought I missed it and customers do sometimes make mistakes... I replied with, "so do employees, like right now..." I think this employee was irritated I did not want her help. I felt pretty uncomfortable. I was already not in a good mood and this person was crowding and hovering over me. Just ask around awkward and very negative. Other than that particular experience, I enjoy the garden section the most. All the beautiful colors, the seasonal plants are gorgeous... the help I have received with deciding on what misters to get. Which refrigerator, which washer and dryer. My company uses this place to for all of our office furnishings. So.....with that said, I have a…read morechair that had started to break. My company would not replace it, instead, asked that I look for a used one. Well, that will never work! I contacted Jacobs and asked him about repairs. They informed to turn the chair over and read them the serial number. Now what company actually keeps serial numbers, that is usually for the consumer to keep track of. So I read off the number and bingo, guess what? The chair was still under warranty after 10 long hard years of service. Now this is no ordinary chair, this is a high back luxury office char with more reclining options than my vehicle has. I drove the chair to Jacobs and dropped it off. About a week later I get a call from Jacobs. They informed me the chair was not fixed. When I arrived to pick it up, not only did they fix the problem, they basically rebuilt the entire chairs. Cheers to Jacobs for a job well done !!!!!!

The flowers were pretty picked over though we managed to pick enough for a small bouquet ! We will definitely make sure to do this earlier in the season next year .. Over all it wasn't a bad experience .. I just don't feel the value for the money was there , at $38 for the flowers and the wine sold separately , maybe $25 for this late in the season and or at least 1 glass of wine included in the $38 .. when there are not a lot of blooms left .. anyway , on to the next adventure for us !

When I shared the address and zip code under the Washington State DOR site this company said see the attached link they sent me with the correct sales tax. It was a Google search of a zip code within city limits and not the general county area. This company stated they were not playing games on sales tax. So this company is willing to overcharge customers potentially because they utilize some Google site for sales tax verse the state website. It's the principal at hand that by charging more sales tax they are stealing and increasing state funds. Sad-because Im spending $7K-$8K on a product and have received quotes from other with the correct sales tax. Be careful and check your quotes and invoices from this company.

Reservations are essential, my friend and I thought we could slip in and have lunch, it was a 45 minute wait, only finding that out after we had stood in line for over 20 minutes plus.. The property is like a beautiful garden with a koi pond and wonderful garden art that I wanted so, so badly. Money . There's also an olive oil and vinegar tasting room and a separate gift shop all in this wonderful warehouse setting. My friend bought 2 oils costing $40.00 . But they were exquisite, beautiful and flavorful and unique tasting. Yum. High hand also has a venue for weddings and I believe a brewery. It's mind blowing ! Serious gardeners must visit there. There was a few places on this property to check out but on the day I went, the register outside was closed and directed customers who wanted to buy anything to go to the shop inside to make purchases. I appreciated this direct communication. When I looked at the various plants, I did not see anything wrong with the prices. I found you got what you paid for.
