This store is about as unprofessional as you can get. It was 3-4 folks in line, and the cashier was…read morein the back of the store. The manager asked her,"Why are you back here and folks are in line?" She then walks super slow to get to the cash register. Her attitude was like, "I have to be here and I'm in no rush to get you out." I know the employee pool is low, but it's bad here. I only came here because I was right by it. I normally go out of my way to the one on 8 & Farmington.

Closing that one has caused great problems trying to get any prescription out of this one for over 3 months. I have had MORE PROBLEMS with 3 Walgreens nearest to my home in the last 2 years than I had in 15 years I was in Monroe. But the problems here will end up killing someone if they don't fix it. It has taken me so long and multiple times to just get my prescription. Over a week at a times and now instead of putting what I had tried to get since Monday back on my profile so I could try another Walgreen's, it was deleted. I have to call my doctor to have it resent to my new drug store - CVS. Others in the long line told me how many times the had come to get what their doctor prescribed. Store managers have told me closing the Evergreen and 7 Mile store means that a 1000 prescriptions are coming to this store. But that has been happening for now a long while and corporate is not doing anything to correct the problems. No added staff or hours. In fact this store has less staff and hours than Monroe MI locations have. All the Walgreens near me do, but Monroe has much less minority population. Do they think it OK to give us less service because we are in an area with high minority population !!!!????;!! WTF!!!! What will it take, someone dying while waiting for days to have a prescription to be filled. I can just switch to a different company, but seniors might not be able to do that. Because of the service I have received and the problems, Walgreens lost a loyal life long customer with a big month.

Terrible serivice. First time at this location, I have lived in Southfield a while and can't wait…read moreto get out because I have been constantly treated poorly. Today I was mistreated by a worker named phoebe. I came to pick up an order I placed 45 mins prior and stood in line. The pharmacist notified me he was filling mine right then. I listened to phoebe tell the woman sitting in the chair next to me that hers would be expedited meaning they haven't worked on them yet. I got a text that my prescriptions were ready 30 seconds later as I was sitting and began to stand back in line. I waited for the woman in front of me to finish. The worker behind the register with bright orange hair Phoebe saw me behind her and proceeded to lock eyes with the woman behind me who spoke up saying she had got a text saying her order was ready. Because I did not say it out loud and instead stood in line she made a fuss turned to the pharmacist and said this lady thinks I can fill hers at the same time, and gave me a disgusting look. She then huffed and puffed and continued to give me attitude. Then blurted that the reason the other woman wasn't standing is because she couldn't walk. I was waiting in that line for 10 mins after the first time so mine was patiently waiting and did not blurt out loud that my order was finished. She broke my heart and it sank. She did that purposefully to make me feel poorly. I told her she did not have to make me feel bad about the situation and she continued to press with attitude that it was not her intention and apologized to the person behind me like I wasn't even human. Disgusting behavior. As I walked out I told her she did definitely intend to make me feel poorly. I will never step foot in a store in this area again. Don't come here, it is not worth your time. I have always came to CVS but clearly I can't come in Southfield. 2 minutes before she told an elderly man that he needed to speak up about his purchases before he rang him up and scoffed when he said he was sorry. She is very rude and should not be serving customers. I would not hire her.

Made flu shot appointments for my children. Thought it would be easier than the 30 minute ride…read moreacross town. I was wrong. We would have been to the doctor and back in the time we waited. CVS please note, children don't Like getting shots. Making them wait a long, long, long time doesn't help make things any better. Goto CVS if you like waiting an hour to get a flu shot, enjoy rude staff that talks to each other and complains instead of helping customers, and don't forget the overpriced medicine and candy marked up on average 40 to 50% over target and Meijer.

I don't know where the majority of the people here go to, but the people workers and pharmacists…read moreare very helpful. If I have a difficulty of any sort I can get assistance in anything, and everything that I'm looking for. Since it's a big chain I found that I could get assistance very easily. In addition to that, the CVS hundreds of miles away from the place that I use on a regular basis was able to contact the one near my home and give me assistance. So, if you're out there looking for a place to go to for a drugstore, don't let the reviews from on here push you away. There are some people who have done good business with CVS.

This CVS is still a one star review because zero is not an option…read more It's so close to my house and convenient. I pass it almost every day going to work or taking the kids to school. But the customer service at this place is just beyond terrible. Omar at the pharmacy's terrible behavior and service convinced me to take my prescription business elsewhere, but I decided to give it another shot because it's so close for grabbing a gallon of milk or something I need quick. After today I will be giving it another try. Went in this morning and was the only guy in the place. When I goto check out, there is a woman in a cvs shirt at the checkout, talking to the worker about her personal life. And some nonsense with her boyfriend. To avoid that unprofessional nonsense, I used the self check out. As usual, self check out is not programmed to match the sales in signs that they have in the store, so stuff is not reading that correctly. I hit the button for help. I get no response even though the people are less than 10 feet away from me. I tried couple things to get the machine to ring stuff up correctly and it doesn't work. At this point I just give up because I'm not overpaying for merchandise. Finally as I'm walking out the door the guy asks if I need assistance. I tell him go back to your social hour, I'll spend my money elsewhere. This place is going downhill and if location is the only thing keeping this store open. Service is trash. Spend you money elsewhere.

They don't always have what I need in stock, and their hours are more limited than the big chain…read morepharmacies, but they actually call me and communicate some person to person, and they are always friendly and accommodating. To me, that makes it worth patronizing this smaller pharmacy. I sometimes ask them many questions on the phone, and they don't bat an eye--they just answer all of my questions and call me back if they have to hunt an answer down. I'm glad they're there.

So I was referred to this place via my caseworker at local agency…read more I called and spoke with some lady, no name given, and told her about the referral and got no response, so I asked if she understood what I meant and she coldly told me "we're not allowed to talk about what organizations they work with". I thought it was a little weird but approved them moving my prescriptions from another pharmacy. Weeks went by with no courtesy call to let me know if everything was moved over and ok. So I called asking about getting an important prescription refilled and was told that I couldn't because my insurance was canceled. I explained that I get this one covered by a state program and that it's supposed to be free. I felt like I was talking to a wall. I told her that I just wasn't feeling comfortable with the way things were going and asked to have everything sent back to the original pharmacy. She said that she couldn't do it and I needed to have them contact her. Called the original one immediately and explained the situation and was relieved that they would get everything back and that I could get my refill as soon as possible. I'm really disappointed that this didn't work out especially because of the glowing review and referral my caseworker gave.
