I don't know where the majority of the people here go to, but the people workers and pharmacists are very helpful. If I have a difficulty of any sort I can get assistance in anything, and everything that I'm looking for. Since it's a big chain I found that I could get assistance very easily. In addition to that, the CVS hundreds of miles away from the place that I use on a regular basis was able to contact the one near my home and give me assistance. So, if you're out there looking for a place to go to for a drugstore, don't let the reviews from on here push you away. There are some people who have done good business with CVS. read more

This CVS is still a one star review because zero is not an option. It's so close to my house and convenient. I pass it almost every day going to work or taking the kids to school. But the customer service at this place is just beyond terrible. Omar at the pharmacy's terrible behavior and service convinced me to take my prescription business elsewhere, but I decided to give it another shot because it's so close for grabbing a gallon of milk or something I need quick. After today I will be giving it another try. Went in this morning and was the only guy in the place. When I goto check out, there is a woman in a cvs shirt at the checkout, talking to the worker about her personal life. And some nonsense with her boyfriend. To avoid that unprofessional nonsense, I used the self check out. As usual, self check out is not programmed to match the sales in signs that they have in the store, so stuff is not reading that correctly. I hit the button for help. I get no response even though the people are less than 10 feet away from me. I tried couple things to get the machine to ring stuff up correctly and it doesn't work. At this point I just give up because I'm not overpaying for merchandise. Finally as I'm walking out the door the guy asks if I need assistance. I tell him go back to your social hour, I'll spend my money elsewhere. This place is going downhill and if location is the only thing keeping this store open. Service is trash. Ahmed the pharmacist here is just top notch. I'm going through chemo right now and my Doctors apparently forgot to refill my prescription drugs to make sure I'm not getting sick. Ahmed knew that I had chemo that day and went right to work despite being super busy. I only had to wait 10 minutes and I'll tell you as long as this guy works as a pharmacist here I will ALWAYS have my prescription filled here. He also saved me about $50 a trip in by tacking time to recheck my insurance information after the 1st of the year. The store I always clean and as long as you know how to self check out you'll be in and out of there fast. read more

CVS prices are significantly higher than any other pharmacy. They will not look up Good RX pricing even when asked (almost all other pharmacies offer that price up). I've never left a review before, however, after what I experienced today from this staff member I want to ensure that as many people avoid this minute clinic as possible. I signed up for a rapid test with this CVS location as my mother just recently started chemo treatments and I need to visit her. Obviously her immune system is lower due to the cancer and so I wanted to make absolute sure that I wasn't putting her at risk. After driving 40 minutes to get to my appointment in time and running into extreme traffic due to an accident, I found myself 10 minutes late to my appointment. When I arrived, this staff member turned me away and said there was nothing she could do even though there was no one else waiting to get a rapid test. I attempted to explain my situation to her and she walked away from me and said there was nothing she could do. After waiting for 30 minutes for her to come back out, and seeing a grand total of ZERO people come in to the parking lot, she walked up to my car and asked what I was still doing there. I explained how desperately I needed to get a rapid test and that there weren't any other appointments available for the day but that I was the only one there. She started being EXTREMELY unprofessional by being rude, giving me extreme attitude, saying that I wasn't worth her losing her job, and that I would need to leave as other people were going to need my parking spot. When I asked her name so I could try to speak with someone else she once again walked away. I have always liked CVS but this experience was UNBELIEVABLE. You'd think that a healthcare worker would do everything in their power to be understanding and committed to the safety and health of patients, and yet this individual could not have been any less professional, kind, or understanding. I wish I knew her name but I hope that CVS can reach out to the woman that was working this COVID testing site at 2:40 PM on March 19th, 2021 and explain to her that that kind of behavior is a terrible reflection on CVS and what healthcare workers shouldn't aim to do for patients. I would avoid this CVS at all costs until they can make efforts towards ensuring their staff understands how to treat customers. This is a great CVS that's only been open for around 3 years. It's clean, the staff is friendly, and I've never not been able to find a product that I was looking for. Sometimes the lines get long, but the staff quickly step up to speed up the process. The pharmacy is wonderful and this 24 location is perfect should you need a prescription filled for a medical emergency. There's also a drive-thru for those cold nights when you don't feel like getting out of the car. There is ample parking too! Great location! Great store! read more

I have been using this CVS location for about 20 years. The last 2 or 3 years the quality has gone steeply downhill, with long waits for prescription pickups and constant staff turnover. I had been trying to get a prescription refilled for over three weeks; they said they needed to contact my doctor, but when I went - for the third time - to pick it up and was again told they hadn't heard back from my doctor, I demanded to know why they hadn't contacted me to let me know there was a problem; it had been over a week since they submitted the request. The clerk lost his temper and was actually striding toward me, removing his jacket to physically attack me, but was restrained by the pharmacist. Needless to say, I won't be back; it took me less than two minutes to shift all my prescriptions over to another CVS nearby. I then stopped by my doctor's office to get their side of the story, and was told they had never been contacted, either by phone or by fax. They also noted that this particular CVS has gotten very bad lately, with many of their patients running into similar problems when trying to refill prescriptions; CVS says they'll contact the doctor, and then never follow through. Not only were their products mis-marked, but they did not honor their sign, there was a huge line, I was late for my engagement and spent twice what I expected to and walked away with half the product. Even when the cashier called for backup, only one person came and they had to call for more, but none came during my time there. It took 15-20minutes to do what should have taken five. read more

So my wife buys two nail polishes in little glass bottles and some gum. We get in the car and one of the nail polishes isnt in the bag. Not in the car, not on the ground, so we go back in within two minutes. We tell the cashier named Basma what happened and she says she doesnt remember helping my wife and then starts looking around on the floor as if this little glass container could hit the floor unnoticed... she has my wife go get another one and we leave. My wife calls the store to speak with a manager saying she suspects the cashier stole it and the manager says, "she would never do that, shes been working here a long time." Bottom line is this store thinks my wife is a liar and we are probably paying a liitle extra so their employees can have free nail polish. read more

My elderly parents walked into the Minute Clinic at 30930 Southfield Road, Michigan (At corner of 13 Mile & Southfield) at 7:15pm on a Monday night. They were refused service because JESSICA GOETZ, NP, was upset with CVS Corporate and decided she was more important than the customer, as well as her anger frustration at CVS. Here is the breakdown: 1) CVS recording says hours of its Minute Clinic's operation and registration to be done 15 mins prior to closing time. 2) My elderly parents rushed out to make it on-time to this particular Minute Clinic. 3) I called this CVS and spoke with a general associate. She was courteous but seemed uncertain about the Minute Clinic's closing time and registration requirements. She was told by someone in the background that their location closes at 7 pm. I said the recording indicates 7:30pm as closing time and to please verify. The associate says if that is what the recording says, that it must be true. 4) My parents called me while they were inside CVS. They were 45 seconds late from the 7:15pm registration deadline. How long could the medical visit last? Well, it's a minute clinic: patients are generally in and out in minutes. I asked the Minute Clinic's staff, by phone, if she will see them. But she declined. She said the reason she will not see patients after 7pm (although it closes at 7:30pm) is because: a] she gets "frustrated because" she has to close the cash register, b] cash out the register, c] take out the trash, d] and can't do all of that that and get out by 7:30 if she has to see people after 7pm, e] and that she had informed CVS Corporate that her desired hours need to match CVS policies and that CVS Corporate had not "done anything about that". I reminded Jessica Goetz about the Minute Clinic's policy regardless of her personal frustration, as stated on the recording. I asked her two times, "so, you have a problem with CVS and their rules and as a result you want my elderly parents to turn around and go back home, even though medical assistance is needed, right?" And the answer, both times, was "Yes!" To be honest, if the Minute Clinic staff, Jessica Goetz, begrudgingly agreed to see my parents, I would not have felt comfortable dealing with a frustrated medical personnel whose mind was set on leaving at 7:30 on the dot. Jessica Goetz, a nurse practitioner, a staff at CVS Minute Clinic at 30930 Southfield Road, had no problem dishing out her personal issues with the company she works for but definitely had a problem with patients walking in to walk-in clinic. I would not have elected to write negative reviews on a public website; however, I could not find a link to local/regional/district representative of CVS or Minute Clinic. If CVS is content with hiring proudly disrespectful personalities, should I bother writing a review, such as this? The answer is yes - because - any persons, especially elderly patients, walking into this clinic's atmosphere and attitude for medical assistance, is very concerning. read more

I have been a long time shopper with CVS on 13Mile and Southfield Rd. In the last few years the sales staff especially the afternoon supervisors can be quite rude at times. The staff continually call the customers honey, baby, dear, darling instead of by their name or just say thank you. I asked the clerk and the evening supervisor why are you calling your customer's by these names....her statement was they like being called baby and honey. This is not professional! HORRIBLE service! The PA knew nothing about sinus infections and she said to drink good herbal tea instead of prescribing an antibiotic. She caused me to be sick for 10 days after that visit and still no help. Don't even try to get a hold of the manager or customer service because they will not help. It took me 8 phone calls to try to reach the manager. When she finally did call she just wanted to send a message to the lousy customer service number. There is no accountability. They take your money and don't do a thing for you. If you are dissatisfied with the service, they don't care and will not refund your money, which $89-$99.00 for the visit.
