Just disappointing. Ordered the hummus from this "Farm" to Flame truck and they threw carrots , celery and a bag of Stacy's chips, with red pepper hummus. Terrible service. Took our order and gave us a number and everything. Waited an hour plus watching other orders behind ours get filled. When we went and checked on the order not only did they say they had no record of our order while charging us and giving us an order number they also lied straight to our face saying our order was in the oven and coming out next. How can you say an order is coming out next when you don't even know what the order is. Then got to sit and watch three other orders be filled while ours was supposedly next. Would leave zero stars if possible for lying and the inability to accept they were wrong. read more

I got to enjoy some Farm to Flame for a late lunch on a Friday afternoon at AMB. The menus were on the table inside which definitely made the ordering process easy. The gentlemen taking orders and cooking the food were great. Very friendly and helpful. I ordered The Shitchyeah pizza which had Honey BBQ sauce, chicken, bacon, and pineapple. The pizza was a really nice size. Definitely enough for one. The flavors were good though I wish there had been more BBQ sauce. The crust is thin and cooks quickly in their oven. The very edges were a bit burnt but I think that's ok. The major let down was the pumpkin hummus. I'm not sure what exactly I was expected but it was the consistency of baby food; a bit too loose and wet than what I've come to expect from hummus. The pumpkin flavor was mild but I found it a bit too sweet. All in all, not bad. Just pass on the hummus. read more

I have been to AMB many times and often get something g from the food truck parked outside. That was the case last Friday as we stopped on our way home for a pizza. It was the special on the board called the Benji. It had chicken on it with a lot of different veggies. Really good with a beer. In the past have tried many items including the hummus which is always great. Will be back up in a few weeks and I always stop. Great food. read more

When you order pizza from a food truck you never know what to expect. Visiting this truck was no different as we ordered a couple beers from AMB we went over and ordered a pizza next. What through me off was having to wait for it as it wasn't just pizza sitting in a warmer, it was no joke made to order and oven cooked pizza. I ordered a pepperoni pizza, paid and gave me cell phone to receive a text when it was ready. In a matter of minutes I received my text and retrieved my pie. My wife and I both took a bite, looked at each other, and said "Wow!" It was good, flatbread/thin crust style pizza that had a good sauce and great crispy crust. Definitely worthwhile if you are at AMB. read more

Pizza was great, took about 30 minutes from the truck once ordered, but staff were total dicks. Not used to that kind of service in Boone. Whoa! Wood fired street food! Love the concept! What's even better is that they have successfully brought it to life and it's freakin' delicious. Caprese skewers with buffalo mozzarella. So simple and so full of fresh from the garden taste. Paired great with the AMB Long Leaf IPA in my hand. Next up, Buffalo Soldier pizza - blue cheese, bacon, red onion, chicken and homemade Buffalo sauce - I can't believe this came from a truck!! I don't think I would eat from the food truck at AMB again. I've tried it before and it was ... meh...okay. Tonight it was pretty bad. The pizza truck was out of pepperoni, a little odd for a pizza truck but whatever. We were told 30-35 mins but it took almost an hour....even for an appetizer that was pita chips and a scoop of pimento. Speaking of the app, the pimento was good. But, the "cheese platter" consisted of a handful of pita chip, about half of which were burnt, and a scoop of pimento....for $8...easily double what it's worth. Calling it a cheese platter is a stretch. Charging $8 is ridiculous. We ordered the volcano pizza and again it was only okay and was $12 if I remember correctly. I hope they have more food trucks soon because I wouldn't order from this one again. Overall it was very unsatisfying. read more

I've personally worked on multiple food trucks from California to North Carolina. Farm to Flame is doing it right. I ordered the ShitchsYea pizza at Appalachian Mountain Brewery and it was the perfect combination of sweet and savory. The food was ready in 10 minutes and hand delivered to me inside the brewery and all for $12. If you see this truck at an event you won't be disappointed if you order from them. My only regret is not ordering another one to take home on the drive to Charlotte. read more

The pizza was tasty overall but based on the other reviews and pictures I expected more on the toppings. I ordered the Italian which is basically just a pepperoni pizza. There wasn't much to it. I do have to say that their signature cheese mix is good but I hoped for more on the toppings-- it had a few pepperonis and a single piece of salami. We just ate at the food truck this past weekend and it was outrageously good. We had one of their daily special pizzas with all local produce. I couldn't believe how much flavor this pizza had and how (relatively) healthy it was. I mean it had squash blossoms on it. They have a real vision with their beer infused dough, house-made sauces and daily specials. I hear that they sell a mean breakfast pizza at the farmer's market on Saturdays too. Boone has needed an awesome pizza place and it doesn't hurt that it's parked outside of an awesome brewery. read more

This food truck was at Appalachian Mountain Brewing and they were a perfect fit there. Their cheesy bread was basically a cheese pizza and the crust was so light with a little bit of crisp. The marinara sauce was perfect. We also had their pimento cheese dip and I don't even like pimento cheese but this dip was really good. I wished we could have tried more of their menu because everything we had was excellent. read more
