I scheduled the repair and diagnostic was on Nov17,25 and the morning of Nov19th, the repair was done. It was like Christmas came early. They were the most efficient and friendly repair company I have ever dealt with. I would also like to add the price was so much more reasonable. I am still fighting Sears for a refund. It's a small, local business that has been there for almost 30 years (according to him). He is a nice guy who fixes and sell vacuums. He has a flat $35 fee for fixing a vacuum, plus the cost of parts. He had mine fixed in 3 days, for a total of $38 dollars :-) He also has a few refurbished vacuums for sale in the shop... including a nice looking Kirby for $700!! Maybe someday I'll have a Kirby.
