He canceled 2 scheduled appointments, last minute and through text. I prefer using local, small businesses, lesson learned here!

He gave me sound advice on high eficiency furnaces and zoned our boiler to provide more heat to the basement. Knowledgeable, efficient, fair prices.

They WILL OVERCHARGE you! Used them back in June, Wendy was super nice said it would be $85 for…read moreservice call and includes the 1st 30 minutes of labor. They showed up diagnosed the problem, removed fan motor in less than 15 minutes. Said the had to go to Cabot to get part for me and another person, I called them within 5 minutes, told them not to pick up my part cause I could get it way cheaper buying it direct from R&E supply. They said no problem, they will come install later this afternoon, came back and took 26 minutes to install the motor I had at house, they were there a total of 41 minutes, charged me $85 plus $120 labor (for 11 minutes over), I disputed with tech he said I had to call Wendy at office and she would work with me. I called Wendy and she said she would have to talk to tech, never heard back from them, 16 days later I mailed check for 41 minutes of labor based on the 30 min at $85 rate, they respond back (8/19/2019) over a month later stating their rate is $85 for first 30 and $60 for each hour over the 30. Not sure where they learned math for 11 minutes over at $60 per hour would be $11, not $120, they are charging me for 2 hours of labor for 11 minutes. I bought the parts and they installed them at my house, she stated I didn't take into account the labor they did at the shop installing and wiring the motor, ummmm, I had the motor at my house so how did they install it at the shop. so I called Mike Graff the owner and he said I didn't take into account the drive time it took to go buy the part, ummmm I bought the parts myself, I called them 5 minutes after they left my house and told them I would buy the part cause they were quoting me $250 for a $60 part. Then they stutter around and say I didn't take into account the time it took them to drive to and from their shop (I live 1/2 mile a way from their shop). Crooks! Do not use them unless you have more money than you know what to do with and just want to give it away. By the way, I used a stop watch the entire time they were there, because I wanted to make sure I was only charged for the actual time the were working and they still trying to over charge me.

Comfort Concepts was called to check my air conditioner. Told me they'd be here at 8am. No show,…read moreno call nothing. So I called them. No answer. Called again, again no answer. When I finally did reach them I was told they'd be here at 1pm. By 2:15pm still no tech. Called again, several times, no answer. The office girl finally called me. When I asked if they were coming she said they were running late. I told her it would've been nice to be made aware, simple customer service. She didn't like that and told me "your shit is not getting fixed today" and hung up on me. Don't even bother with this company. Completely unprofessional and very rude.

WARNING COMES BEFORE DESTRUCTION... CUSTOMERS BEWARE…read moreAbsolutely the WORST by far. Comfort Concepts received the claim from my home warranty company, First American Home Warranty. Chris Slaton (Owner) came as expected to service and complete a diagnostic on my a/c unit. He was very customer friendly. Well, some weeks past due to a catastrophe in the area. When things were back at a norm, I called to schedule an appt to install a new a/c unit for 5/4/2023. The techs came as scheduled. They ended up destroying the a/c unit's door panel and base board. At the end of the end of the day, the techs declared that Comfort Concepts ordered the wrong part(s) for the a/c unit and would need to reorder replacement parts. Well, a few weeks lapse and I heard NOTHING from this company. Mind you it's May 2023 in Arkansas which can be HOT. I finally called Christie (Ofc Rep) in the office being assertive with her due to the extremely poor communication from this company. Christie informed me that Chris was in search of this part for the a/c and will be picking the part up this day 5/18/2023. Christie also exclaimed that she would call me back later in the day to schedule a time to come by. No one ever called. Now I'm extremely angered. On 5/24/2023, I called Christie and she contacted Chris, begging him to close out the repair ticket and mentioned that he FORGETs a lot. An appt was scheduled for 5/25/2023. Let's see what happens with this unreliable company. This company needs to be reported to Arkansas' Attny General. The amount that I owed that was uncovered by Insurance was $1650, which had to be paid in full prior to the service. How about $1650 was paid in full. The company NEVER issued me a professional receipt of payment. They were given $1000 in cash and $650 via check. No receipt. I was promised a receipt via email by the end of the day, 5/4/2023 and still waiting on it today 5/24/2023. If I could, I'd give this company a 'Minus 3' on stars. CUSTOMERS BEWARE of this Company..... Warning comes before destruction..Hint Hint. UPDATE: 5/25/2023- Comfort Concepts' techs reported to complete their assignment as scheduled. The guys were not customer friendly after the job was completed. One of the techs had the audacity to tell my spouse, "Tell your wife THANKS for the review, and GOOD LUCK with the repairs." What was the tech insinuating? Did I lie when I wrote the review? It's one thing to be truthful and another to lie. Any way, goodbye and good riddance. Thanks for completing your assignment after 3 weeks and all was paid up prior to the service.
