I desparately began a search late on a Friday afternoon to ensure that I had it for the weekend. The switch was available for shipment but I couldn't wait. I found Mid-South Appliance Parts via an internet search, called them, and they confirmed they had the part indeed! What a life saver. The price was competetive with internet prices but without the shipping charges. I also needed a part for my microwave and they also had it.

Stated they found the issue however I had to pay $501 upfront before they would order the part. I did not hear from them for a few days so I begin reaching out to them. Always just a lot of excuses for one reason or another. I disputed the charge on my credit card. I advised Dustin I would pay if he was able to repair the machine. Finally, he let me know that he would not be back due to the dispute. So I am left with a torn apart fridge. When I made the initial call to schedule the appointment I was quoted $85. I Cash App'd Dustin $85. Then he responds that the fee is $135. I paid the additional $50. I would not recommend him at all.

I asked them to come back and take care of it and was told they were coming back. However, they never showed up or called. They charged alot of money and said they had to be paid in cash. I got another company to fix it and they said it was very unlikely that I needed the work done at first because the problem was a different one that they did not diagnose. They seemed inexperienced.

He told me that it was going to cost $438 to get a new heating element and motherboard. I paid him $300 cash. Another guy came out a couple days later and told me that the first guy misdiagnosed it and it was going to cost $100 more. I decided not to repair it. I called him and asked him if I would get a refund. 'Oh yes yes you will get a refund..'Since then I have gotten two invoices that say I still owe $177. I have emailed them twice. I have called at least six times and get the same answer. 'Oh we're working on it. The bosses aren't in right now. I'll call you back.' I understand they have to take a service fee out . I would like my refund. This was in JUNE. Today is August 6. I think it's been long enough.

We cannot recommend this company based on our experience…read more Since July 2021, we have spent $13,386.08 with this company, including $4,640.90 in October 2024. During that time, we have had issues almost every year, despite having both a brand-new indoor and outdoor HVAC unit installed. When I asked where the air filter went on the new unit, the technician couldn't tell me and said I would have to contact the manufacturer. We were also never provided with the warranty information for the new equipment. We were told it would be emailed to us, but we never received it. The most disappointing experience happened yesterday. My grandmother is on hospice and is dying. She can barely get around, and on one of the hottest days of the year, with temperatures around 92°F, her air conditioner stopped working. I called at 9:00 a.m. and was told they couldn't come until the next day unless we paid a $295 emergency service fee. After spending over $13,000 with this company and needing service calls year after year, I expected better treatment, especially under these circumstances. In the past, I left positive reviews because my grandmother was repeatedly encouraged and pretty much hassled to do so. She always wanted to support local businesses, even when she wasn't satisfied. Looking back, I feel it was important to share our honest experience. If customers stay silent, other families--especially elderly customers--may end up going through the same thing. As of this review, my grandmother's air conditioner is still not working, and we will not be spending another penny with this company.
