Excellent work! My…read morefamily installed solar panels 2 years ago on our south facing roof. The solar company used a subcontractor from New Bedford. Within a year I found a leak in the brand new roof from the solar panel installation. I contacted the solar company and and were "unable to locate" the subcontractor that they had originally used for the negligent installation. I called several local roofing companies to make repairs ...(and by several I mean 6). Not only is Skip, the owner Cape Cod Roofing, the ONLY contractor to get back to me, but he spoke to me at length to ascertain the exact nature of the problem. He made me realize it wasn't uncommon for leaks to occur from solar panel installation. In essence, he calmed my nerves He arrived at the house giving us about a week notice so we could meet him there. He used my input to figure out exactly where the leak was, as well as other potential problems with initial installation. He found several areas of concern including poorly secured brackets and broken roofing shingles...(exactly where the leak was occurring). Skip took pictures throughout the process so I could have the necessary documentation to file the claim with the solar company. He sealed the roof, made the necessary repairs...and the GREAT news: its been torrential rain for the past 24 hours....and there are NO LEAKS! Skip and his worker were very professional and easy to work with I'm very happy with the repair I would use them again I have already given 2 neighbors a heads up about this good local company

I had the pleasure of using Sublime Construction for my roof project. I say pleasure because this…read morecompany takes pride in doing an excellent job. The owner Fabricio was very professional, personable and clear in his communication with me throughout the project. I am very pleased with how my new roof looks and the fact that the entire job was completed start to finish in one day, and that was about a week after I agreed to hire Sublime. Additionally, I was amazed that my yard didn't have one nail left behind. The workers cleaned the grounds impeccably. I like to walk barefoot as this is my summer cottage and I have had no problems in the week since they completed the work. Something else that makes this company unique is that Fabricio came back the next day and inspected the work and told me that if I noticed anything wrong or an area that got missed in the cleanup to call him immediately and he'd have it taken care of. He told me that he would stop by in two weeks to make sure that I was happy with the work. Additionally, pictures were taken of the work and will be on his website in the event I needed them for insurance purposes. He gave me a 10-year warranty on his work and also said he wanted to be called immediately if anything was amiss with my roof. I would feel very confident in hiring Sublime for future projects and intend on doing so! I highly recommend this company because of its integrity, professionalism and personal touch! This is a company that you can trust to do the job correctly and in a timely fashion.

We sent Fabricio a check for $10,395 on May 7, 2020 and texted him May 13th to verify that he had received it as almost a week had passed. On May15th he said he had it and would deposit it that night; when it didn't clear our Rhode Island bank until June 18th I should have been suspicious. June 15th was supposed to be the date the work would begin with work to be completed within 30 days of beginning. I understand the effect Covid had on supplies, but my requests for updates on supplies status and job progress went unanswered until I got a copy of the plans and permit on July 23rd. In response to more requests for information, I got a text July 28th saying he was still having trouble getting supplies, but that they should be there July 31st or August 3rd. After sending more unanswered emails, I phoned Fabricio on August 11th and left a message to send the money back; he called back saying he lost a couple of employees, but they were working on the building. Fabricio promised to send pictures saying that wouldn't be a problem as the city also wanted pictures; the next picture I get from him will be the first. After more ignored texts, I finally called October 7th, but I was only able to leave a message which has been ignored In early July, wondering how bad the supplies of treated lumber in sizes needed for our project were so I could get an idea how long I could expect to wait for completion, I checked with numerous lumber suppliers in the Providence area and north in Rhode Island; there was plenty of lumber. Speaking with Fabricio in May while we finalized our negotiations, I felt that he wouldn't be one of those contractors who got a deposit, started the job, and moved on to the next only coming back to do work when he wasn't busy with something else where he'd be under more scrutiny. Yelp asks for pictures which I wish I could supply, but I'm still waiting for the first picture from Fabricio. I hope this helps someone else who might not be able to be there over his shoulder.
