Chicken Bacon Alfredo: I stepped out of my comfort zone with this order because I usually don't like Alfredo, however this dish exceeded my expectations! They were very generous with the meat, which I wasn't expecting especially since it included two different kinds. The garlic bread was delicious, and the portion sizes are great. I would definitely recommend it and would come back again. My only complaint is the location, I've walked past this place a million times and never noticed it!!!!

Amazing cheesy garlic bread and pasta! Staff was super nice and the vibe is chill, perfect place to stop for a quick lunch after walking around the city

Great place to stop into for a quick bite of fresh pasta. Pasta is homemade and made to order, so very fresh. Plenty of seating

If you're looking for a quick service offering delicious homemade pasta, Farina Pasta Bar is the place for you! Space is small but it is cozy and all of their pasta dishes come with a delicious piece of garlic bread. I love their pistachio pesto with rigatoni which is one of my go to. Their vodka and beefy ragu is delicious and everything is freshly made.

I'm really impressed with Farina. It is tucked away downstairs and comes off unassuming. Do not judge quickly! Their principle is pretty simple - fresh, house made pasta in a fast causal setting. You pick your pasta style and the sauce you'd like. That's it! You can add in some proteins or veggies if you'd like. They have a few sides. Your bowl will come out in 5ish minutes. It is a solid lunch portion. I usually go rigatoni in their ragu. They have a limited selection of drinks (can & bottle) available for purchase but no alcoholic options at this time I believe. Bus you own plate once you are finished and head out to enjoy the rest of your day!

Some of best pasta I've had especially at a more fast food type place. Portions are generous. Well packaged! Dessert was yummy as well. Ordered on DoorDash.

When I mean I have been missing out too long, I mean really long. Sure I have heard about people raving about Farina, but finally got a chance to try it out last night. Fresh made pasta in a cozy no fuss setting is the best way to go. And that's not all they have make your own options, flatbreads and appetizers. I tried the Rasta Pasta, and Chicken Vodka flatbread. Huge portions, gluten free options and plenty of Garlic Bread to share. It's more self service so if you are good, it's the best

Center city quick pasta location. Nothing fancy. I ordered two pasta dishes to go and the bill was just under $40. I ordered two create your own pasta ( 1st with Rasta sauce, Pappardelle, and mild Italian sausage, the 2nd Meaty All Beef Ragu sauce, rigatoni, and meatballs ). I waited about 10 minutes for the food. Both pasta dishes were decent. When I got home both dishes were still hot and I did not need to reheat.

All I have to say is WOW. You will be sorry you walked by this pasta bar. The bread bursts with flavor, is airy, buttery, crunchy, YUM. The pasta and sauces are cooked to perfection with flavors that will keep you coming back for another bite. The Parmesan shavings on top of my Alfredo was *chef's kiss*. The Cacio e Pepe was phenomenal. As for dessert, you can't go wrong 10/10. May be the best tiramisu I've ever had! The service was great and the staff were welcoming. Definitely stop by Farina, you won't be disappointed!

10/10 recommend! The pasta was so fresh, the meatballs are so flavorful, and overall it truly was phenomenal. The man taking our order was friendly and brought the food to our table when it was ready. The restaurant was clean, great ambiance, and the menu was easy to read which I always appreciate. I can't wait to come back to Philly to have it again!

I ordered the Philly Alfredo with rigatoni to go and it was wonderful. It was made right away and came out piping hot. They make their pasta which results in nice soft noodles with a pleasant texture. The sauce was flavorful with lots of cheese. Portion size is decent. It isn't huge but also not tiny. Something to note is that there are more menu items posted on the self serve ordering screen than the menu board. They have flatbreads, focaccia, and other appetizers. Edit: We went bad the next day to get more and it was just as good if not better! This time we dined in plus added tomato and spinach (which I highly recommend.)

The girl at the register was super nice. It's a hole in a wall. The food for the price of 12 dollars was cheap but the food was amazing. The guy who then came to help was kind of a d***. But other than that if you're looking for a quick Italian pasta to go this is the place

Great food and service. Very casual! I made a reservation and the staff must've cracked up. Not necessary.

The restaurant has a new menu daily. I met the owner, he is very friendly. He does meet each patron. The drinks they have are Italian based. I ordered the rigatoni alla Monzese and we also had garlic bread. We also ordered Italian ice tea. All the food was delicious. I would eat again at this restaurant. Highly recommend.

If none of those appeal to you, your only alternative is to choose a pasta with a standard sugo (tomato sauce). There are also a couple of sandwich options, but those are limited as well. There's little to no flexibility--if it's not on the menu, they're not likely to accommodate substitutions or custom requests. That said, the two young men I encountered were both professional and not snarky at all in relaying the limitations. It was what it was. I went with rigatoni in sugo, topped with grated Parmesan. The pasta was excellent--perfectly al dente, and the sauce had great flavor and consistency. Authentic and well-prepared. That said, the downsides are hard to ignore. The portion was relatively small, and with a bottle of Italian soda, the total came to $22.58--closer to $30 with tip. There's also no complimentary bread. Focaccia is available for $5, but it didn't look particularly appealing (a bit dark and overly crisp), though I didn't try it. Pros: * Delicious, authentic Italian pasta * Perfect texture and well-balanced sauce * Clean, attractive trattoria setting Cons: * Very limited menu (pasta and a few sandwiches) * No customization or flexibility * Price feels high for the portion size * No complimentary bread Overall, a tasty experience, but the limited menu and value may not work for everyone.
