4 shots of tequila! 4!!!!!! WT......

If I could give -5 stars I would!!! This place is a rip off! I just went there last night with 3 other friends, we decided to step in because it was late already (11:30pm) so this place seemed like a good one to finish our night. Tiny, not the cleanest nor organized, way too dark, and music excessively loud. We ordered a round of tequila shots ($79.20) WHAT??????? Come on! No cover charge but drinks are obscenely expensive! It's not like the band is playing at your table, you have to pay for that! Then we ordered a bucket of beer ($46) still pretty expensive then another round of shots and it's my turn to pay ($79.20) I'm like seriously guys why didn't you tell me! You don't pay this at ANY club! Not even the most fancy one at SFco or San Jose! They take advantage of being the only one around beside El Paraiso! I always go there even though you pay cover charge you can see the band performing for everyone until 1am, sometimes they start playing at tables but most nights you see them preform for everyone. Prices are not outrageous and they don't charge extra for paying with card (pretty convenient) So if I do the math for what we spend at Farallon vs paraiso this is it.... $332 at Farallon 3rounds of tequila + 2 buckets $216 for the same drinks + cover charge (it varies depending the time you go in and who's playing) I can say they have their game on bringing good bands like Los Sebastianes who played black in March. Never going back to Farallon!

Drinks 4 Service 4…read more Ambiance 5 Food 4 We came here on a slow Tuesday night. They were about 10-15 other guests but the places so big and spacious that it almost felt like we had a place to ourselves. There's a spot for a DJ/music and I can only imagine that they have some great shows here. The bartender was attentive, and while they weren't very personable you could tell that they knew several of the regulars. I didn't drink anything fancy, bourbon neat, but it was a fair pour. You order food separately. We are fish tacos, wings & nachos. The fish was fried and coleslaw had a touch of mayonnaise but not too much. This was my favorite dish. The wings of the nachos or what you expect, definitely flavorful and cooked well. We liked the crowd and will definitely be back to listen to some music and check out the lounge downstairs.

Once you enter in the bar, go to the right, they'll give you a stamp on your hand, and then you can head downstairs. There are many lounge areas, and small tables & chairs to sit and drink at. There are also pool tables to use for free! There's also a DJ that plays GOOD r&b, hip hop, pop, and even some throwbacks too! The DJ that night took song requests and even gave a shoutout to the birthday girl in our group too. The cocktails were good, and I'm sad I didn't take pictures of it (had too much fun). The waitress will come to your table and you can order there OR you can also order at the bar. When I ordered at the bar, the waitress was so nice and helped me bring the drinks over to our table. I also had a taste of the fries, and the cups and guac and it was tasty too! There's some parking right infront or a parking lot behind the bar. I will definitely come back!

They also have various events. :: Trivia Tuesday :: Wednesday Wine Tasting :: Live Music Saturdays :: Friday & Saturday: Olive & Finn Boutique and pop-up events throughout the month ** 5 Star Review: Pop Up Brunch and Saturday Live Music *** I recently attended Eats by E Brunch last Sunday and returned this evening to catch up with a friend and listen to music. Place is spacious, lively, dimly lit with music playing at a level you can have a conversation. Table ordered a steak sandwich with salad, cheese sandwich with tomato soup and a five-spice pork ragu over polenta. We all enjoyed our dishes. Food is 3.5-4/5 stars and would like to see a bit more to keep it interesting but know their kitchen setup is limited. No wine with this visit. Dessert: Orange brownie was simple with orange zest and the Hawaiian bread pudding was different and flavorful. Good to see the place bustling and look forward to future rotating pop up events. Got a chance to talk to the owner, Stacey as I recognized her from the Eats by E event the week prior. My bad, didn't know she was the owner of Cordial Cellar & Lounge but all good as she was super welcoming, friendly and was very accommodating when asked if we could pay for our own dishes separately. At the end of the evening perused the Olive & Finn Boutique and quickly welcomed by Jackie who was explaining items like the handmade jewelry and some hand stitched clothing. Such cute items and will visit another time. Recommend Cordial Cellar & Lounge for a date night, special group outing or relax and listen to some music. For our entrees, we ordered the Argentinian Skirt Steak accompanied with Frites, Sautéed Greens, Fries and Chimichurri Sauce -- and the Mezcal Glazed King Salmon with Cashew Relish, Purple Potato Puree (so interesting!), Shaved Brussels Sprouts, and Chipotle Butter Sauce. Food was fantastic -- straight to the point and with boldness from the Latin influence. The ambiance aims for a higher end dining experience, and there is a full bar with additional seating. Must be a local favorite for Happy Hour and dinner. Jonathan was our server -- shout out to him for his efficiency, attentiveness, and professionalism. He responded at every interaction with enthusiasm and a smile. Would definitely return.

I started with a margarita and it was delicious. I would highly recommend the fried calamari and the Del Toro salad with medium well steak was so flavorful and the steak was grilled perfectly. While the starters were wonderful, the main dishes, Mary's chicken and boneless short ribs were tender, juicy and flavorful. If you're in the area, you've got to stop by. So worth it.

This general area has a few places to bar hop - Funky Monkey, Stein, Dirty Bird and The Bistro - going to some or all of the above on any given evening makes for good fun. Smaller bands are great to discover here. It makes for a very lively atmosphere. Hayward goes above and beyond with community events and closing down B street regularly. There are two pizza places nearby - I prefer Susie Qs - its very upscale for Hayward. OOops, I'm sorry - that wasn't meant to be some backhanded compliment about the city. From what I know the owner of this place is actively involved in the city of Hayward and I like that. All the more reason to support this establishment. Downtown Hayward can be very fun - its not the worst place to live - just get out and make the best of it.

Doesn't know how to read a room...he'll play a few good songs for 20 seconds and then switch it up as soon as everyone is having fun. Try making a song request... it's a joke .. You'll see. Hope you like reggaeton and 20 seconds of good songs lol! I'm still rating a 5 because I know they will fix this problem, but my friends and I are going to skip the next few Saturdays for now.

He created a space where people felt safe to express themselves and enjoy music without feeling judged. Coming back tonight was already emotionally difficult for me because I am still grieving his loss heavily. I became emotional while trying to explain how much Drew meant to me and how some of the interactions that night made me feel dismissed and unwelcome during a vulnerable moment. I also want to respectfully mention that certain details surrounding Drew's passing did not need to be repeatedly brought up in conversation. I understand no harm may have been intended, but hearing those details spoken about so openly was deeply upsetting and emotionally difficult for me personally. I calmly approached the owner and said I wasn't trying to cause drama and simply wanted to express how hurt and unheard I felt. His response was, "I don't want drama," before walking away from me while I was crying and trying to explain myself. That moment honestly broke my heart even more. I completely understand businesses have rules, closing times, and boundaries. But when someone is grieving the loss of a person who helped create such a loving environment there, compassion and kindness matter deeply. Drew always made people feel like they could take up space and be themselves. I just wish my first experience returning after his passing had reflected even a fraction of the warmth and humanity he gave to others.
