We went shopping earlier that day for outfits, and I ended up splurging on a $95 super fancy outfit, solely because I thought the pics would be worth it. Imagine my disappointment when it was time to change and I realized it still had the anti-theft device on it, right in the middle, no workout at all. That already sucked enough, but then, fantasy didn't just refused to refund it, the first person made me come back 30 mins later for a manager, who still said no and then sent to me another location, where they said no as well. Shop here late at night though when you can easily park right next to them. Its great that they are open super late. Half the shop people were friendly. And if dog masks are your thing they have a crazy variety - this is an observation only in passing that section...like, damn Portland... trying not to judge but whoa. This is definitely the place to grab some stockings - they have an entire wall (one of the LONG walls!) full of it. This is such a large store, and the staff were so friendly! They knew to leave us alone when we were simply browsing, and when to help when we actually approached them for assistance. My boyfriend and I were staying in an Airbnb close by, and as we explored Portland, we stumbled across this store. We've passed by here quite a few times, so we ended up coming in here to explore. There was one beautiful black strappy dress that my boyfriend and I were quite fond of, and they also had a Killstar Book of Spells purse that I drooled over. Since I didn't want to impulsively purchase them, we left the store and decided to come back later. Later that day, before leaving for the airport, we decided we wanted the items after all. We came back, and I purchased the dress and the purse. I even got a discount from a deal that I found on their Facebook page. On top of that, no taxes! Corsets and garters and shoes! Oh my! Anyone who knows anything about me knows I love costume parties or any excuse to dress up. Halloween for instance, just so happens to be my favorite holiday. Big surprise there, right? Just about anything I need for my fabulous costume needs I have found that Fantasy has got my back. Most recently, I wanted a good corset to wear under my fabulous 1950's ballgown. They didn't have my size but they did find one at one of their other stores and sent it over. I was a little frustrated that they didn't call me to let me know it was in. In fact, the transfer did not even happen as the item was on clearance due to slight damage: slight discoloration on one of the removable straps. After I assured them that I really did want the item it arrived the next day and I got it at a discount. The sales gal that helped me, Lana I think was her name, was really nice. She helped me get the corset all laced up just right. There's so much cool and cute stuff at Fantasy right now. Except for shoes. Their shoes aren't really that cute. Spartacus has way cuter shoes. It's so much fun living next door to a sex shop. I haven't ventured into the video and toy side but its nice to know its there. For now I am rather busy with all the clothes. read more

Horrible customer service. There is an employee in particular who seems to believe they know everything there is to know about the products. I have now been sold two shoddy items due to their aggressive sales tactics. One of which, was a pair of underwear that fell apart after wearing only once! The other item was a toy that I was pushed into buying instead of the one I came in for, which they wouldn't even show to me! That toy by the way was a total waste of money, I should have stuck with my instincts. Typically like this store a lot. Been in many times for various costume/lingerie items and have always found interesting and decent quality items for reasonable prices. Unfortunately, I went in last week for a possible New Year's Eve item. Was debating on purchasing a skirt because I wasn't sure if I would wear it or not. I specifically asked what the return policy was and was told that as long as it is unworn with tags and a receipt (and not underwear/lingerie/toys) that they would take returns up to 14 days after purchase. Today I go in to the return the item (ended up wearing something else for NYE). The lady at the counter tells me that they DONT take ANY returns of any kind but that I can exchange the item. I don't want to exchange it, I want my $50 back, which I was told I could get by the previous employee. My collection of knee-high socks is outrageous. You know who's responsible for that? Not some online retail outlet, and certainly not the mall.
