This is the most amazing organization I have ever been in. Nikki cut my hair and is fabulous. Donna and Klara are pretty awesome also. Today a lady who had cancer came in and was losing her hair. Nikki and Donna both took care of her and didn't charge her. The woman was very frail and weak. God Bless them and thank you Fantastic Sam's! read more

Literally the worst customer service ever. I walked in with my 2 daughters and there were ZERO customers in the salon. I asked for 2 kids cuts and the employee proceeded to take one of my daughters to the chair to cut her hair. When I asked her if she was going to wash her hair she said no and that it would take too long. When I said that I didn't understand and that the service advertised said a kids cut came with a shampoo/conditioning and a tousle dry, she began to argue with me and told me that she didn't have enough time because someone was coming. It was 3:45 in the afternoon and she appeared to be the only person working in the whole salon. She cut my daughter's hair and then washed it after, as she could tell I was really frustrated at this point. She left both of my girls with soaking wet hair and made zero attempts to dry it or acknowledge that she wasn't performing the service as advertised. This place is a joke. Avoid going here at all costs. It was my first time taking a chance on a chain salon and it will be my last. read more

I've found the best hairdresser in Mansfield, Tx Ms. Malia is the best at what she does and I'm so happy she's close by, I recommend this FS

I stopped in today and had the worst customer service in my life. I've been going to this location for years and today decided I would never return after this. The stylist I spoke to needs some training on how to talk to people. It was almost comical on how rude this young lady was. read more

I absolutely love my new 'do! Kyndall did an amazing job dyeing my hair. All of the staff was friendly, and I left the salon very satisfied with my experience. Don't hesitate to book an appointment with them! read more

Got my hair cut five days ago at this location of Fantastic Sams on Green oaks, Arlington, Texas. The stylist informed me that I could come back within 7 days if I was not happy with the cut. The policy notes that you can come back in 7 days if you are not happy with the cut. When I returned for a touch up I had a horrible experience. I went back to the store for a touch up. When I arrived, the manager stated I had hurt the stylist feelings and she was going to refund my money. When I went to pick up the money, the manager went crazy. She refused to give me a full refund...keeping the tip as she said the stylist deserved it. She spoke to me in a harsh tone while waving the refund money in the air, she stated do you want this money. She yelled and pointed her finger at me when I took the money from her hand...she felt I snatched it out of her hand. She streamed at me "I will knock you out if you ever take money from my hand again". She told me to get out of the store and never come back. I motioned to take a picture of the plaquet on the wall that gave information on whom to contact for complaints. She took it down and placed it behind the counter so I could not take a picture. She called the police and followed me out to my car giving my car color and license plate number to the police. After this, I decided to just wait in the store for the police as I did not want to leave and later have the police pull me over or come to my house. The police arrived and I shared details of what happened and showed the video of the encounter where I recorded the whole incident. This whole thing makes no sense to me as I do not feel I said anything to hurt the stylist feelings. Just craziness and foolishness. I would not recommend this location to anyone as long as the manager is there. read more

Horrible haircut+ incompetent stylist+ poor management = don't waste your money. I got the worst haircut I have ever had from Fantastic Sam's. I had made an appointment with a specific stylist to cut my hair. When I arrived, I was told that my stylist was not working that day. No one had contacted me to tell me. Since I had already left work early to get my hair cut, I decided to let the stylist present cut my hair. HUGE MISTAKE!!!! I have short hair and specifically asked the stylist to cut only 1/2 inch off. I also told stylist to keep my hair longer around my ears to cover my hearing aids. She cut off 1 1/2 inches of hair. The hair around my ears is extremely short making my hearing aids easily visible. The worst part is that the hair on my right side is significantly shorter than the hair on my left side. I look like a toddler cut my hair. It will take months to grow out my hair enough to fix the problems. The stylist reeked of cigarette smoke which was revolting. read more

Not very nice on the phone when I scheduled an appointment. That should have been my first red flag. I got a completly different haircut than what I asked for. I asked for medium length layer haircut and got a bob cut. I hate it. Will not be going back. read more

Always come here for myself and my daughter. I went in today for my daughter. I wanted to get a trim, deep conditioner and flatiron. The woman with the pink hair stated it would be $50 min for flat iron due to "coarse hair" (racist much?). I had to make them run a history. I've never paid that much alone on her hair the previous times I've taken her there NOR have any of my sessions started at $50. Then they tried to say they could do everything for $37? What happened to her coarse hair? Needless to say, they have lost my business altogether. Do not recommend anymore. read more

Don't waste your time or money here. Only one or two know what they are doing and they can't cover everything.

I have been going to this particular franchise since they where located at Eastchase. The problem is since they moved the staff is like a rotating door. I went in last week for a trim and was placed with a stylist that gave me doubts. Her hair was disheveled. Not something you would think a hair stylist would look like. She reassured me she had been cutting hair for years, but after I left I wonder if she even had a license to practice. I asked that not more than a 1/2" be cut. After washing my hair, she proceeded to comb it out (normal), but then it happened. She got the hair in the back bath weed it and just cut. Nothing on the sides, nothing in the front until I questioned her. When she turned me I saw the hair in the floor. My response was that's more than 1/2". Needless to say I found a stylist to "fix" what she did, I went in with hair below my shoulders to the nape of my neck. Guess who will NEVER go back. read more

This was the first time I had my hair professionally colored at this location. My colorist, Cynthia, was very thorough and took a lot of care in toning and coloring my hair. The ladies at Fantastic Sam's in this location (Gigi and Amanda if I recall correctly) were really friendly to everyone and even assisted Cynthia with coloring my hair as it approached closing time. They were all super sweet and considerate, offering me chips and cookies because the appointment took longer than expected. I'm not complaining, though! My hair looks great and feels healthy. I couldn't be happier with the result :) read more

Had a walk-in appointment with Sonia and she did an awesome job cutting and coloring my hair. Great job matching my ends since I had a lot of root grow out. She recommended products to help preserve color, but was not pushy. She was knowledgeable and professional. I will be back when it's time for a trim/touch up. read more

HOLLY!! she did such an amazing job. I had trust issues with stylists along with getting a hair cut, I don't trust much with my hair but she def restored my faith! This is definitely a place i will be going to from now on. I was recommended and am happy that I took the advice from a friend. I even was scared about getting my eye brows done but after i had seen the work done on my hair, i trusted everything the salon had to offer. Would give 10 stars if I could! read more

LOVE the service is provide at Fantastic Sam's. My hair stylist is Carl I been coming to him since 2016 when I came from MN. They way I knew he was a great stylist was because one time I brought my ex-sister in law to fix her hair at that moment it look like a mullet. No one at that time wanted to take the challenge to fix her hair. He step up and said come on sweetie I can fix your hair and Excellent job he did. Since that day he has been my hairstylist. God bless his hands. read more

OMG!!! Worse than bad... turned my hair orange then tried to correct with a toner and turned it green!!!! I was told by the "stylist" this was her first day and it was " on the job training" once they already RUINED my hair!!!! I was there 3 hours with 6- 8 employees all whispering and talking behind my back about the horrible mess my hair was in!! I asked what I was supposed to do now???!!! I got blank stares .. seen a ghost looks!! Nothing.. I was so embarrassed and about to cry... I asked for at least a clip to pin up my horrible look... THEN one BOZO says as I am walking out with green hair half wet waded up on my head ... "wait.. you still have to pay" AND the entire time at the bowl .. which I was for 2 hours of it at least.. I was soaking WET from the sloppy mess and my shirt IS 100% RUINED and my make up was totally gone ALL of it and NEVER offer a towel . I get home, there is orange color blob in every corner of my ears inside..!!! RUN do not walk into the HELL!! read more

Made an appointment a week ago with Sonia. I drove half an hour to their new location. The idiot who answered the phone never scheduled me and of course I couldn't be squeezed in anytime today. Planned my whole day around this scheduled time. If they can't do something as simple as schedule correctly...it's a sign go somewhere else. Wish I could leave a negative star to the woman with the colored hair and rhinestone nose ring. She's doesn't have tact. read more
