They also packaged everything up in cute jars and a bag with a stamp that has the shop's name. I was able to try the toffee bark and the peanut butter bark. All I can say is WOWWW. The bark was so savory and sweet. Rich and decadent. Just wonderful. I also had my family partake and they loved it as well. All in all, I was so impressed and fell in love with this place. The tap payment didn't work, and the option to insert the card didn't work either. We ended up having to give our card number to the employee so she could process the payment manually. Because of that, I'd recommend being prepared and bringing cash. The man (I assume the owner) was so friendly and happy, and yes, he lured us with a free sample of taffy grapes. I knew this was going to be a sale when I saw how awesome the taffy grapes looked, and then when I tried one holy cow! They tasted like a mini caramel apple with nuts, except.. not an apple, a grape. And not too much caramel. Ooooooo sooo good. Just enough sweetness. We got a big cup of grapes to share later. I couldn't resist the cute little cake pops that were made in a tiny little ice cream cone cup. I got one for my mom and she really enjoyed it. Can't wait to come back to the market to get some more taffy grapes! With a planned shopping trip to Oakbrook Center over this past weekend visiting was going to be a no brainer. Generally Black Friday sales (both online and in store) have been pretty sucky this year and it's turned me off from shopping because the discounts just aren't there. The best discounts I've seen so far were here. Sadly, over a decade ago we used to see discounts averaging around 70-90% (minus the jacked up pricing) and that truly felt like a Black Friday deal. How I long for those days again!!! Just a few weeks ago the store offered 50% off on their holiday boxed chocolates online and given the current sale climate, this was the best deal I could find this year. I picked up 2 boxes and felt they were totally worth the price for luxury chocolate. I also gifted a few chocolates myself (in store) from their Wall of Chocolate and I really liked the big selection of both milk and dark chocolate. My only gripe with the place is that currently they don't serve food and drink. I was ready to buy some hot chocolate however I was told by the associates that they plan to sell by January/February 2026. I've already tried some of their chocolate and the quality is definitely there. I also like the fact that their products are true to their motto, More Cacao, Less Sugar. That's always a plus for me.
