Start with their approach is very different from today's business style. They're very Friendly and know you by name. They know my family and I know their family. They try to accommodate your schedule as much as possible. I never have to wait a long time unless I am asking them to add me on to an already busy day. If I do that then of course I expected to wait. They are very concerned about my satisfaction. And everybody at this place does a great job cutting hair. My wife has sent everybody she knows here. And that's a lot of people. For the men's haircut the only charge $10. We can see the prices are extremely affordable. This is for somebody who's looking for a snooty experience. F.Y.I. Paul is a great hair stylist I've been going to Paul for 14 years now. I get compliments of my hair all the time. From the style to the color.. I recently got a wedge look and I was told I looked different. Everyone liked the style the color and the highlights I put on my hair. I love it.. He's reasonable, and he does give you his opinion when your wanting a change in color. Paul is very good. He's a busy stylist but, he will fit you in regardless of time.. If you have something special going on he will come in early and open just for you or he will stay late for you for a special engagement. I hope you stop reading this and make your appointment or just walk up and ask for Paul I can promise you it is worth every minute of your time to wait for this guy. He's that good. I used to get my hair done by Paul when he worked at someplace else and was so sad and disappointed when he moved, but I finally found him again! Paul is simply amazing! Amiable and funny, he is wonderful to talk to. I also love the way he does my hair. The rest of the staff is composed of friendly people who are willing to cater to your needs in order to ensure that you have a wonderful experience. The place isn't really pricey, so it's perfect for family as well as for that gal who wants to get a fancy 'do. I am very happy with the care and attention received by Paul when I visit Fancy Salon for my hair concerns. He cuts, styles, highlights and perms my hair while maintaining to keep my hair healthy, Tran at Fancy Salon has taken care of 7 grand children's hair for 16 plus years. She is not only delightful but has always made them very at ease starting with 18 months old to 20 years old . They always choose her even though there are many other qualified personnel. She has become more like family. The shop has just been updated with cabinets, paint and ceilings which helps give more ambiance to the salon. This the first review I'm writing on yelp but it's so worth it. I've come to this salon before but only for trims or haircuts. I've been wanting to dye my hair for as long as i can remember and in the past few weeks i really set my mind to it. I've never had my hair colored so my hair was natural and i was so nervous that if i chose the wrong salon my hair would be ruined. Not going here again! Everyone told me this was better than beauty express so I gave it a try. I even made an appointment for TWO people the day before and showed up and no one assisted me for over 15 minutes. I need the backroom because I cover my hair. There were 4 Mosquitos in the room. So gross! And the room is quite small already and someone came to get their eyebrows waxed. The lack of service was unbelievable so I got up and left. I called fancy salon right away and they assisted me immediately! Not to mention at fancy salon they were going to charge me $28 for shampoo, haircut, blow-dry, and straighten while at beauty express it was only $20! read more

My first time here. I was cutting my long hair for charity and wanted to be sure that if it was short, I had someone who could be trusted to cut it. I had read a lot of good reviews about PAUL so I figured I'd give him a try. I called and got an appointment for that morning and was in and out in 45 min. Shampoo, cut and styled. Paul was very nice and attentive. He did what I wanted as opposed to what he thought he should do like some stylists do. All of this for $18 plus tip. This hair salon is one of the best hair salons I have ever been to because of three reasons. The first reason is the excellent customer service. The staff treat everyone like family and never fail to comply to a request of the customer. The second reason is how the staff are efficient and never make a mistake when they are doing your hair. I remember back then when my hairdresser retired about 12 years ago, I was still in high and it was senior prom. I fretting about finding a great hairdresser. Walking in for the first time, I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and kind staff. It's a small place and fairly inexpensive, but the staff all have big hearts, and are easy to converse with. My personal favorite barber is Paul-- for guys he is the best.
