The place is descent inside, staff are friendly and helpful. Service is quick. They have some interesting options for some of their sushi rolls. Not the best, or most authentic, but for americanized sushi it meets the quota. read more

Maybe not the portions were that small compared to other places but they were very tiny pieces of sushi for all of that. Every time I go to St. Simon's, we carve out time to come here! I love their rolls. They are tightly rolled and the food is fresh. It's safe to say you can eat here before you go to the pier or beach with no easy access to the restroom and not have to worry about food poisoning. I can't wait to come back! Also, they had a special where you order a certain number of rolls, you get a Jimmy appetizer for free. I recommend getting the appetizer anyway! It's deep fried imitation crab sticks. Great place but it takes a while to get a table which is expected for any restaurant on St. Simons Island. I could rave about Eddie's special all day long... it was given as a complimentary sample but we loved it so much we had to order more of it. Stumbled upon this little sushi bar tucked in Redfern Village. Came in and Jason that helped us was awesome!! He brought us a small appetizer and we also ordered shrimp and veggies tempura also a few rolls of sushi. All of it was outstanding! We had a lobster roll, shrimp tempura roll, and the yellow tail appetizer. They were all perfection. Their miso soup is one of the best I've ever had. I enjoyed their ginger dressing, but it was a little on the sweet side for my taste. For entrees, we ordered the steak and shrimp hibachi, with both fried and steamed rice. It was cooked wonderfully, but the steak was a little tough, so I would recommend upgrading to the filet mignon. Definitely recommend this place. read more

They have a reasonable lunch menu and went with their sushi sashimi combo. Well portioned and a good value. I wish there was more variety of fish on the plate, but it was satisfying. Not premium grade but priced accordingly. Probably the best on the island and will come back when the mood strikes. You would not know it, but the interior has ample seating. I have eaten here 6 times in the last 2 months. The staff is friendly and courteous from the start, and they want to make sure everything is as you ordered and that you enjoyed the food. They bring you a complimentary bite of the Eddy Special, which is tempura battered crab with a delicious sauce over the top. They also give you complimentary house soup which had broth, mushroom and the crunchies from tempura. We enjoyed it so much we ordered a full roll! They have a great selection of standard rolls $5; 2nd tier rolls $9.75 and specialty rolls for $12.75. This is a great option for whatever price point you want stay in. I have had rolls from all 3 options, and they were crafted with the same care and expertise. I love the spicy crab salad, and the Lucky Dragon roll is my usual! I have also ordered the chicken hibachi with fried rice that was delicious., although I wish they had hibachi noodles. They offer multi roll deals and have a lunch menu too. read more
