For those who won't read the entire thing: I NO LONGER RECOMMEND. I attached my previous review for reference. I reviewed them 4 years ago but have been doing there for well over that. In the last year, the techs have been rude. Some have an attitude. They make you wait without saying how long. Always a long time. Last time it was 45 minutes. There's no point in setting an appointment because it's not honored. Today was enough. I came in at 11am for a refill. I was told to "come back at 3pm". I said "okay". Came back at 3pm and they tell me to "Come back at 4pm". I said "You already told me to come back. I was here at 11am and you told me to come back at 3pm." They say talk to eachother and say "you didn't say anything". I responded with "yes I did, I said okay". They said no you didn't. So I left. All of these are things that I mentioned in my first review that earned them my 4 star review. Which is why I am changing my review and I won't be returning. Don't waste your money buying gift cards for Fancy Nails in West Haverstraw, they don't honor them if they're more than 2 years old. I went there today, waited 40 minutes past my appointment time for a pedicure, and then tried to pay for the service with my $100 gift card from 2020 and they wouldn't take it because they "don't use that computer system anymore". The card had a sticker on it saying the amount it was for and a reference number but they don't keep records of their gift cards so they wouldn't honor it and now I'm out $100. New York State law states that gift cards are good for 9 years. Do yourself a favor and pick a different nail place. read more

Horrible didn't even last 3days before chipping! The lady was rude they talk about u In their language salon was full w everyone complaining about appointments but having to wait. They also rush you. The girl next to me had to tell the guy to file her old color off more bc he left it there n she was doin a light color for wedding he acted like he didn't see what she was saying. Everyone in there was complaining Some lady had her child SCREAMING the entire time and no one said anything like take ur child outside or come back. It was just a nightmare experience n then my nails chipped POWDER DIP on day 3 of them being done $37 for dip and didn't last 3days ! read more

I went her the first time was good I went to Lenny he's good. Second time I worked with the guy in the front who wears the Tommy Hilfiger sweater older man. Guess he wasn't paying attention, he drilled my nail so hard. He made a hole in my nail w/ the drill. SMH. This caused my nail to swell and get infected. NEVER AGAIN. This mistake was for the better. I was supposed to go to Lovely Nails around the corner. This place was friendly and professional. I am used to the rude salons in NYC. In and out. Every move my technician made sure it was "okay". They were clear on prices before I stared and I gave her a 20% tip. It was well deserved. I got a gel mani for $25.00 on a Saturday if that helps. I love the way she shaped my nails and made sure that I was cozy. read more

Pricing - AMAZING. overall job- not bad. Simply just not what I had asked for. I had gotten my nails done 2 days ago. I asked for stilletto, she cut them square. I wasnt PISSED because overall it would be more professional for my job. So I let it slide. Without asking how long I wanted it - she cut them SOOOO short. She was rude. The young lady recieving a manicure next to me has corrected her tech on the length she preferred & he said "it'll be harder for me to do! Keep it short. It's better." While I respect his opinion- if she is PAYING for a certain kind of nail, just do it. She should know the issues that come with that. I respect the business and everyone there. the BEST nail salon in Rockland County! The prices are amazingly cheap for the quality you get. A basic fill-in costs at least $10 less than the prices at other salons. And the designs the girls do are beautiful! Everyone is super skilled and talented. Only thing is that the wait times are a bit much. Make sure that if you come on a weekend, you have a few hours to spare. read more

I wanted to make you are aware on how unhappy I am with my techs service. If she doesn't know how to do something she should say it. Ruined my entire day!! I wanted to do something nice for myself. I can't catch a break! I had to pay and leave as soon as possible & she knew I was very upset, nobody cared. I left to avoid being distasteful, but I am very very upset still and I need to tell you. I decided to come here because my friend usually gets her nails done at this salon. I just needed to get my nails done because my nail tech is away on vacation and this was close to work. Her nails always look nice. I was reading a decent amount of bad reviews but I think they actually do a really nice job. I got my nails done by Tony and he did a great job. The young guy next to him was also good. The only reason why I did not give them 5 stars was because their really small. I personally like a salon where you have your own space. In this salon, everyone is right next to each other. Also, the parking was annoying but that has nothing to do with the salon. Other than it being small I think they did a really good job. I went here today at 9:30 when they opened. I didn't have an appointment but they told me it was fine. This was my first mistake. I said I wanted acrylics with gel and a regular pedicure. "Pick a color." Fine. The pedicure was done really well, I'll say that. The tub had a liner and the tools seemed new/clean. He took his time and did a great job. After I sat and dried for a while. Left to grab something from the car. Dried. Sat. Waited. Moved seats. Waited. Waited. Waited. An hour an a half after I got there I asked how much longer until they start the manicure and was told for the second time since my pedicure ended "a few more minutes." I get it that without an appointment you have to wait, but let me know in the beginning there are five people with appointments ahead of me. I could have done something else and come back after. I then had to wait about five minutes for someone to ring me up for the pedicure after I told them I had to go. I was polite but they were reluctant to ring me up, saying I could sit down (just to wait in a another chair?) and asking me to come back later. I asked for change of a $20 and she gave me no singles back. The guy who did my pedicure (didn't get his name) was going to get $5 anyway but it's sort of a rude way to make change. That's not how tipping works. If she had given me two ten dollar bills did she think I would have tipped over 50%? I'm saying this as someone who has had jobs where you work for tips. I'm more disappointed than anything because I heard good things. The pricing is fair for the more expensive things, but I definitely would never go here without an appointment. I should've known better when someone walked in and told them they were an hour early for their appointment. Another woman began her fill ins with gel as I got there and hadn't finished when I was leaving, so, set aside at least two or three hours if you want acrylics/gels/anything complicated here. If I had stayed, assuming they started within ten minutes, I would have been there at least three hours. Maybe don't accept walk in customers when you can't service them. Bummer. read more

The place appears nice, however the guy who did my nails ran up and left to do his next clients nails with out saying a word. Another lady ended up lotioning my hands and giving me a message. The nails were nice for the first 48 hours. I got the gel polish over the acrylic nails and by the 3rd day they began to chip horribly. I never write reviews but I think people need to be informed before they take their time out to come to this establishment. I have been going to this nail salon at least 3 years now. At first I never had a problem with my appointments. However, recently every time I go here I spend more than two hours, even with an appointment. Appointments truly get you nowhere with this establishment because regardless you will wait at least an hour to get helped. I can never go in and leave at the time I expect to leave. They have made me late countless times. I can no longer call myself one of their customers. I don't understand what they have to do to make their process go quicker. But maybe if they simply were more realistic with themselves on how many customers they can actually handle, they could stick to the schedule.
