The pedicure chair is a nightmare, and if you turn it on (most regular customers don't) you might be in need of chiropractic services. Let's face it after 10 years maybe 15 they need to be replaced. I no longer see the regular customers that I have seen before. They are slowly one by one leaving. There used to be people waiting (walk-ins) today I am not seeing it. There is a greasy spoon (restaurant) next which attracts flies by the hundreds. I left my car window down one day last month while at the salon for 2 hours, upon my return my dog had been snacking on flies and of course there were flies in the car. I was told today when I told Tracy I wanted the same thing I had the other week. I had her use a base polish for a french manicure with was not pink but a translucent beige with the normal white tip. She told me she couldn't use that because you can't mix regular polish with gel. THAT WAS A LIE according to Google. You can't mix the two in a bottle but You can put the polish on and let it dry then use the gel product and put your hand in the UV light machine. I will go back tomorrow and get this fixed. I am a little fed up at this point. Did she misplace the polish I brought in? And how much longer should I put up with those pedicure chairs. Heart broken, and fed up in Clemmons.

Fully own that I'm a pain in the a** when it comes to my nails - I never remember what type tips I like, am super picky about the thickness of the gel/acrylic/yadda-yadda, and hate when they just schlop on a TON of product without explaining crap first, leaving you with 20-lbs nails that take half your finger with them if/when the nail breaks. Not only did Sue explain the different types of tips to ensure I got what I wanted, but the application was flawless and she made them just the right thickness that they almost look like my natural nails!! In love - they're a hike from me, but I'll definitely be returning!!!!

She then turned me over to someone else. After 2 1/2 hours, my nails are 75% completed my nails are pink rather than white and I remind her that was not what I asked for. English was not her first language so conversation went back-and-forth between my Manicurist and the owner, problem enough.... I don't understand what is being said... the possible solution when a lovely patron decides to inform me that it wasn't nice to inform the manicurist that I wasn't happy with what was being done to my nails.. I had been rude in bringing the color issue to the manicurist attention (it's unchristian) and as her daughter was in the shop, she was using me as an example for her daughter of the kind of behavior not to exhibit in that situation. All the while .... the owner has apparently decided the original manicurist should continue trying to fix the nail color which I eventually point out remains pink. The owner eventually steps in again and corrects the situation and I leave with my nails completed, but nothing else, but please. I bet you're thinking it's the end, oh no. Before I go my oh so gracious teaching mother loudly states as I'm washing my hands that she is willing to pay for my services. I'm thinking... Oh!!! Really!! She's a regular so I thanked her and said no but I did bless her for pointing out my unchristian like behavior today and left. I don't think this salon and I are a good match. I went for my birthday, being excited of finding a black owned nail salon to franchise near the…read moremakeup artist that I had booked for later that evening. Then my look would conveniently be complete! But man was I mistaken! My experience was horrible! Starting from me being there almost 4 hours just to get an unfavorable pedicure! The nail tech was basically experimenting on my feet! I showed a picture to what I desired upon arrival and the nail tech not once said that she could not perform my request until 3 hours later! The finish product was APPALLING! Basically I could've done my own pedicure myself! Given her two chances to exonerate herself from the terrible pedicure making the second one much worse! So that I could justify my time and save my pedicure I end up telling her to just do all white hues because I had no more time to waste! It was my birthday and it had been strategically planned weeks before. Nearly 4 hours had passed servicing the bad pedicure with still no manicure, was ultimately ridiculous! I had a photoshoot arranged for later and still on because I have other things to do in the day and we still haven't done my manicure! Unbeknownst to me the nail tech cashed me out assuming I didn't won't a manicure. I tipped her still. Unsatisfied to service that had been rendered to me and all my time being wasted, I felt as if I shouldn't have paid at all. Furthering my plea for service justification, I returned. I asked the owner/manager, who had left in the midst of the nail tech serving me, third time. Giving the business 3 times to correct their wrong of my pedicure and explaining to her that it was NOTHING like I wanted. It still looked terrible! She ultimately blamed everything on me and even said, you were the one indecisive! Look if I show you a style or something I really want, and then you ask me do I want gel or regular polish? You are giving me options of things I can do with the style I want! ( if you knew you can not do a regular polish then you should've told me and then we could've went the other route)! So to hear the owner/manager say all these negative things that I did and offer no resolution. Mind you I never raise my voice at her, I never curse anybody! I was very calm and respectful as the customer. This nail salon technician took up most of my day for an undesirable pedicure! The owner/manager saw for herself how ugly and unprofessional that my pedicure looked even thinking it wasn't finished when the girl actually finished,(that's why I told her to take the polish off the first time)! The owner was very dismissive and not empathetic nor did she try to rectify the situation! The owner/ manager didn't care at all about my feelings as a customer. She was not bothered! I would say just be mindful of your time, and I didn't take a long time to make a decision on the color like she told me, the girl didn't know we're hardly nothing was in the shop from the stones to what to use in my water to the polish! They knew I was on a time frame, it shouldn't have took almost 4 hours to complete a basic all white pedi, I ended up finding another nail salon down the street that did my manicure perfectly and in a timely manner, did what I asked for. When I showed them; the new nail salon what I want for my mani, they were straight up, honest with me, instead of experimenting and wasting my time. They instantly explained to me that they couldn't and told me how they could accommodate me on my desired style. I was very well pleased! I didn't want acrylic, but they explain why I should get it with the style that I wanted) and suggested something else! And they finished within an hour and it's beautiful! Unlike my feet! So I'll give this nail salon for my pedi a 0/10!
