There is not one thing, it is everything they do that is done well with attention to detail, care, concern and effort. I've been getting gel pedi's forever. I had my first bad gel pedicure experience in PG six weeks ago at a different nail salon. Nail Envy and their manicurists, Leah and Henry made the other location. look like a Pre-K student in the industry. First they are welcoming happy upbeat people. Second they focus 100% on health and hygiene. They use gloves, masks if necessary, tub covers, clean utensils with every guest. They take their time, they are patient, listen to your concerns, you are never rushed. The massage chairs are not old and broken but instead comfort you. Your end result is getting the service you wanted just as you wanted and for an affordable fee. Our toes have never been happier! Services Pedicure Requested style Envy basic pedicure with gel polish and parafin soak ending, Specialties They understand nail bed health and focus of hygiene first and cleaning out nail beds thoroughly. Seasonal theme Spring Cleanliness While the overall location is an older building the one singular thing that stood out was their ability to ensure a clean environment. Stylist Leah was so incredibly articulate with me and explained that many of my nails were broken (due to the other locations poor service) she literally took my chipped dented scratched bubbling lumpy paint job and made it brand new. I liken it to taking a vintage car down to bare metal, pulling out debts, sanding out the pits, creating surface perfection THEN a creates a new paint job that sparkles and shines!

I got a gel deluxe pedicure from Erik and I was so surprised and satisfied with my service. He did a great job at my French tip and I will definitely be going back. The owner was even walking around and asked me if I needed him to throw away my coffee cup for me. I did not review because it's hard to do a negative review but the place was dingy and the tec fid not give me what I asked for. My experience at Noire was exceptional. I was greeted warmly without a reservation. The host, possibly owner, began the process of removing the ill-fated nails, which were too long for me and driving me crazy. Once a tech was available I moved to Frankie's station. Frankie made sure he knew what I wanted and went on to give me a beautiful set of acrylic nails My favorite pomegranate red. I was very happy. I scheduled a follow up appointment with Frankie when it was time for a fill and the experience just got better. I like short nails and usually the tek will explain I have yo go with square shape even though I like round. Once I explained what I wanted to Frankie he made it happen. Then he gave me the best pedicure. I have a picture of the set up be cause it was so special. If you need a manicure or Pedicure do yourself a favor and call Frankie at Noire The Nail Bar. By the way, they provide refreshments. Very customer friendly place.

This review is long overdue! It was actually an accident that I came to have my nails done here…read more It was 2 days before Christmas and I finally had time to get my nails done. I've been to three or four other places in and around town and I wasn't happy with any of them. So, I'm looking for a new place and it's getting late so my friend and I decided to stop in there and see if they would still be able to see me that night. There was a gentleman named Phil who was the person that did my nails. Let me just say that this man listened to everything that I wanted done with my nails and how I wanted them done and did exactly as I asked! You see I'm very hard with my hands and I'm very hard on my nails and so I needed them to be a little bit thicker and a little bit heavier because otherwise I would break them and they would pop off. Being Christmas time and the New Year's, I didn't want that. They were closing in about half an hour or 40 minutes. My friend had a pedicure done that she was so completely happy with that she now goes with me when I get my nails done just to get a pedicure! Anyway, I told him that it would be more than 2 weeks before I can see him again. He said okay. It actually turned into 7 weeks! And let me tell you, he did such a fabulous job that my nails weren't lifting anywhere, nothing popped off, they weren't too heavy, it was perfect! And to top it all off, when I did go back to see him, he still remembered me! He did my nails for me again, expertly as always! I am so impressed with his level of expertise and commitment to his clients that I will always go back to see him! He speaks very good English; there's no trouble understanding him, whatsoever! His time and attention to detail for what you want is impeccable! I'm so happy that I stumbled into this place by accident! They now have two new customers who are committed! Thank you to all the fine staff for such an awesome experience whenever I go in! To Phil- You are the best and I appreciate you more than you know!
