Got the mandarin honey pedicure after calling them to see if they accepted walk ins. They did at the time and I was seated right away. My pedicure was $45, not bad compared to what is done in Chicago. The pedicurist was thorough, clean, and so friendly. She took good care of me and ensured I was relaxed. I went to Galaxy while in the area on vacation, and couldn't have been happier with the service, setting and results of my manicure! My mother, who lives here, said they opened not long ago, and there was still a Grand Opening sign up. The setting is very clean and restful; televisions were set to calming nature scenes (beats noisy talk shows, soaps or strident news programs). Evan did a heavenly job with my gel (no chip) manicure; efficient but detail oriented. It was also cheaper than what I am used to (in IL), so snowbirds may notice this benefit. When I called to find out information, they said they prefer appointments over walk ins. I still had to wait a couple minutes but not bad. There were plenty of customers and a number of nail techs present. In addition to standard services you will find "VIP services", such as the Mandarin Honey pedicure or Royal pedicure (which includes a parrafin wrap). You also are treated to wine, coffee, soda, etc. with a VIP service. I will definitely suggest this place to my mom and grandma (who live here), and recommend it to you as well! Went to the salon multiple times since 2022 and this was the first time I ever had a problem there. Usually I would get sat down and I would love how they do my nails almost precisely to my inspiration picture. This particular day, I wanted to get my nails done for my birthday. I sat down, showed them the picture and as soon as it comes to putting on the acrylics, they talk about my "small" pinky finger nail. This was a guy that had never done my nails there before. They've never said anything like that to me before, they would just cut the edges of the tip and glue it on. I tried to explain to the guy how to cut the edges like how they've done it the past times i've went there and he just gave up on me. Then he passed me to another lady and she was getting upset because I kept telling her the tip wasn't straight or aligned with my finger. I even tried to see it from her point of view but it still looked crooked. I was never rude or argued I was just simply trying to show her from my angle how it looked. After that, she said "maybe your finger is just crooked" and I didn't say anything because I was already upset at the fact that It had taken so long just to get put in a seat while other workers were talking but it didn't bother me because maybe they were on their break. I ended up leaving because I knew they weren't understanding me when I was being patient with them and Im too shy to speak up or stand up for myself after they joked about my fingernail. read more

First of all i go here to get an acrylic fill. I asked for coffin shape. They were horribly mishapen, nails were different lengths and the nail polish was all over my cuticles. The owner says come back well re do them no charge I said okay after having spent $40 on nails I absolutely hated. I go back he does them again shapes them okay not as bad as last time but he forgot to put top coat. Now my nails r getting lint and everything else attached to them and look horrible once again. Had a few bad experiences here. Went a few days ago to get a manicure and pedicure. While getting my pedicure the guy forgot to scrub my feet and clean my nails. When I said to him hey you forgot to scrub my feet and clean my nails he laughed at me. I told the staff at the front counter and they said well don't tip him. I paid for my services and left. I reached out the company again and no response. I've been there well over 10 visits and get inconsistent results. My nails don't last long. To make things worse she was constantly texting someone throughout my pedicure, stopping to get on her phone. My experience from the spa was mixed, my nail technician was thoughtful, did their best. I left with a floral design, even though (prior, on the phone) I asked for cheetah print. They do designs with stickers; not by hand, but charge like they painted it. I wouldn't mind bc what I got was pretty, but they should've charged me less their because they could not do what I made the appointment for. I feel they took advantage of me because it came out nice, but they didn't care how they messed up. so I don't agree to come back and pay an artist rate to them. Not going back, they didn't match me with someone who could do what I asked then they charged higher. but I'm going to miss my nail technician. He did amazing. Would not go back, I like clear agreements more than pretty colors and two agreements were breached, the design capability and the price. They have a large selection of different pedicures they can do and they are all well worth it. My friends and I have been going here since they opened earlier this year. They do a really nice job! The salon is very clean, and I really like how they use liners in the pedicure chair basins so you know that where you are putting your feet is clean! We have used several of the nail techs here, and I especially like Cindy to do my pedicures. She's a tiny little girl with very strong hands! The massage is excellent, and she does a nice job putting a French-tip gel polish on my toes. Unfortunately, she doesn't do acrylics or I would also use her for my fingernails. Our husbands really like Kathy to do their pedicures. She must be able to handle the "tougher cases"! Ha! I make appointments before I go because they are getting quite busy and I don't like to wait. I was actually unhappy with the quality of service. Kelly seems disinterested and barely cleaned under my nails. She used a rough file and I had such rough edges that I tried using the file to do a better job. It was later in the day and there was a lot of available staff sitting around. This has to be the worst nail salon I have ever been to. Staff is so robot like, they didnt approach me in a friendly way when I came in. I had 2x male nail techs both times I came in and never said a word to me while they were doing my nails either times not friendly or personable. I got burned several times by the nail tools . Not happy with the service today at all....came in at 6 for pedicures and was done by 6:22, no massages for 25 dollars, but still gave 3 dollar tips. We should have left none. They were able to take both of us in just a half an hour from when I called for pedicures and had no problem accommodating us when we then decided to add manicures when we got there. The atmosphere was very relaxing and clean, beautiful salon I must say. The services and prices were both amazing the only complaint I had was that she cut an awkward chunk out of my toenail so it's not all straight which I'm assuming was just an accident.
