This is a place that delivers a VERY basic pedicure. In and out in 20 minutes. It's fine if you're in a hurry and need a basic, no frills, just okay, polish change. If you want to be pampered this is not your place. No drink offered, no real massage or hot towel. No deluxe anything, just very basic. A step above what you could give yourself at home. No more, no less. It's not dirty but it's not clean. It is dated and could definitely use a paint job and less stuff taped to the walls. read more

This was the WORST pedicure I have ever had! My nails were done, and I sat under their dryer station for a 1/2 hour. When the girl came to check me, she said something to the others (not in English), and she took me back over and completely re-did my polish. I had no idea why. I ended up going back the next day for a repair, and the owner tried to talk me into getting a gel polish put on, and it would cost $15. THIS PLACE SHOULD NOT EVEN BE IN BUSINESS. read more

I posted last night and my review is on this thread, but I really didn't add the important part as what spiraled into a nasty situation. I went to Tracey on Saturday, December 17 and I was greeted with the normal not a smile not a frown but a flat face, and I mean not smiling at all... As a business owner, she needs to take some courses in human relations...I think... In college. I hadn't been going there for a couple of months because I was staying in my mothers home for aid from a car accident I got my nails done up there for a few months. The last nails I got done up there was with this gentleman that I have never had. He did my nails and said I needed a whole set of tips, which I did I hadn't got my nails done in a while, so I got all the tips. He did the acrylic and gel polish. I noticed that he was really sloppy with the gel kind of hard to clean around the cuticles a little rough. In the three weeks the nails lifted... So much I couldn't even use my hands in my hair to wash because it was pulling hair,...I know we all know that feeling and it sucks. So when I got in, Tracey said that she noticed an infection. She pointed it out and she even took a picture. I had told you that I thought it was from doing dishes because it was on two fingers and it looks like a little water damage. Let's call it. Nothing at all to be worried about.. So I said well the guy was really sloppy with the gel she said "Yes you know but it's the acrylic". I then said "Tracey , it's not the acrylic, believe me, this happened over time". I don't know whether water was getting logged in there or I wasn't sure but she insisted that I needed a gel manicure. I looked at her and I told her that I trusted her and that was it. We came to an agreement. Keyword we. so after a $60 gel manicure that Tracey promised me was going to be the way I had to go, I thought everything was fine and I gave her a $12 tip, because I'm not cheap... And she should know that before cheating a good customer that pays good tips... You know what I mean?! we all know who pays most is remembered! That afternoon, on Saturday, I started getting bubbles and irritation around all of my fingers. They are closed on Sunday so Monday morning at 10:30 AM. I gave the salon a call and spoke to Tracey...she said "I told you about your nails, you should do acrylic", I said " no Tracey we went with this jbecause I told you that I trusted you when you suggested it". she proceeded to go. "Ni, no, no, no. Anyway, without arguing with her I said I need to come in and get these nails off and I'll wait a couple weeks till everything heals and I want acrylic again. "Well no I can't do your nails again because of the infection". What do you mean and she said it again. So I'm have pissed off at that point and I might point out I am disabled and she does know this... the paycheck is not what it used to be. It is a privilege for me to do this for myself now. So she knows I Uber there and Uber home that's how loyal I am to that place when I'm home, no car...So again I mention to Tracey that I'm gonna come in "you're gonna take these off and you know you don't have to give me the whole thing back but I do think it's only been a day and a half that I deserve to get some of my money back". and she insisted she was not going to give me anything back. So very politely, I said, ". OK Tracey, I see what you're doing and I see what you're saying.Then I proceeded to get a smart mouth saying" and I said to her that it's a small town this is bad, bad, bad business and I'm gonna blow her up all over the Internet and I hung up. I was pretty mad so then I called my bank because I saw it was still pending on the payment... Guess what it was pending and I got my money back... Shame on her and good for her there's a claim and wells fargo said I will not be paying that so I guess the moral of the story is you really can't trust a lot of people because everybody's got an agenda. Trip somebody over money in the small town Florida...not really a smart idea. I will never go back there, I was skeptical at best, always, because of her attitude and her mug. So needless to say here's my review, and it is a shame that we have to mark one star because if I was able to pick stars and had a scale I would go to -100. Thank you for listening. Oh also... I went to Fancy Nails in desperate need of a manicure and pedicure. They were happy to accept me on short notice and Nina gave me a good mani/pedi. The pedi was a basic which was all I wanted and with gel polish. My mani was great. Very satisfied. The salon was older but with comfortable chairs for the pedicure. I will go back! read more

I went to Fancy Nails today for a pink and white dip manicure. They charge $48 and that does not include soaking and cleaning up around your nails. When I arrived at the salon, my nail length was beyond the end of my fingers. By the time she was done with dipping, my nails were super short! Worst manicure ever. I told the technician I was not pleased and why. She said if I want to pay more she would do the soaking and trimming. (That option was never mentioned ahead of time.) What a mess. I will never go back and recommend others find a better salon also. I love to support local small business but cannot do that with this place. I would give 0 stars if possible. read more

I had a terrible experience at this nail salon. The lady that was doing my pedicure sliced my toe open with the file causing it to bleed. When I pointed out the blood to her she quickly tried to cover it with her hand and started rubbing the blood into the wound causing immense pain. I repeatedly told her to stop rubbing the cut while yanking my foot away but she did not listen nor stop. I politely asked her to continue on the other toes and to leave that one alone for the rest of the pedicure but she didn't listen and sprayed nail polish remover on the cut and continued rubbing it-causing me to cry from the frustration of her continuously worsening both the cut and the pain. I told her that I wanted to stop the pedicure but she would not listen nor respond to me until I told another nail technician that I wanted to stop. She did not apologize till the very end when I went to pay and they charged full price despite not having finished the pedicure and getting cut. Never going back. read more

I went here for my friends birthday and it took hours just to get a gel manicure and regular pedicure for three. Colors were inconvenient because they were behind nail desks and had to pick from a wheel of colors. When showing them a design the could not figure out the right colors for it. They were rushing us as well just to pick a color. Definitely under staffed as well.My girl was picking at my skin, and filing it. When she was rubbing my lotion she scratched me. When cutting my toes she cut them to stumps and proceed to file them A LOT. My toes were red and hurting. The "sugar scrub" they put on hurt my skin and it felt as if my legs were burning. Also the lady who did my toes was very soft spoken and hard to understand. I had 2 different people one for my toes and pre-paring my nails for polish and one girl for my design. I had to fight my lady to not file or cut certain nails and she still filed and proceeded to cut it. Unsanitary -ness was a yes because they soaked off my friends nails and some liquid and then proceed to give me the same bowl same liquid to dip my nails into as well. Also did I mention she was picking at my skin the whole time? Because she did. Also the design lady Tracey was fighting me over a color on my design. Pre-pandemic this was my salon. Frequented it 2 times per month for many years. Always requesting Tracey. I moved up to Indialantic during pandemic, so found a salon closer to home. Yesterday I was visiting my friend in Melbourne Beach, so thought we'd get pedicures at fancy nails. I requested Tracey like old times. My friend and I requested Deluxe $50 pedicures. Worst salon experience ever. Tracey was rude, cold and did an awful job. I will be repainting my own nails. The $50 pedicure lasted 40 minutes. Really. I don't know what Traceys problem was. If there was a -1 star I would give it to Fancy Nails. My experience at Fancy nails was one of the worst. The nicest thing I can say was that I wasn't injured in the process. I called to make an appointment and was given a specific person. When I showed up on-time, I was told that person was busy and I could either have someone else do my gel manicure or come back another time. What is the point of taking reservations? So I said sure and another person did it. I don't think he knew how to do gel manicures exactly as what I ended up with was soft and sticky nails with heaps of gel on them. My nails started breaking (almost shredding) within hours of the manicure. The place is dirty. They didn't use sealed nail tool packs as most places do, and there is barely any sort of COVID-safe practice in place (no barriers up between technical and client or extra cleaning observed). Do not risk your nails or your health or waste your time going here. Try passion nails instead where I went after Fancy. read more

Everything the other customers said that had a false review was over about 5 months ago. It's also not Fancy Nails fault it is the own persons fault. Fancy Nails has a great atmosphere. Great manicures and pedicures. They are clean and wash their tools throughly between customers. They use disinfectant spray to clean their tubs and tools. My experience was the best and I also see them have out the of the state customers come in because they love the place! I suggest Fancy Nails so go call them and book your appointment! I love getting my nails done but wow this place is horrible. Super rushed. Poor polish. The guy didn't even clean my nails up after polishing. I had to ask several time to please polish my nails evenly. It was not a good experience. Next time for a last min pedi I'll just go to store, get supplies and do it myself. read more

I picked this place because it was in a convenient location for me. I had an appointment scheduled for 10:15 and ended up sitting and waiting for 30 minutes. There were 3 other women sitting with me who had similar wait times. I was getting gel nail polish removed. BY FAR the worst experience EVER at a nail salon and I have been getting my nails done for more than 20 years. This place is ridiculous. They have no idea how to operate a nail salon, nor perform even the most easy tasks. Nails chipped THE SAME day. They didnt even file our nails. Just completely awful experience. If I could give a zero, I would. Seat #4 attempted to do SNS/dip and did a horrible job. He rushed through the whole process. He tried to put the gel application on my nail after I told him what I wanted twice. They are very disrespectful talking their language over your heads and it's obvious they are talking about you. And then the next day my nail was chipping!!! I went back the next day to have the situation corrected and he claimed that he did. 2 DAYS later my the SNS was cracking like shattered glass. I went back AGAIN to get my $ back and was told that the owner doesn't allow that. While another tech did my nails, one of the ladies who work there questioined and argued with me about how much I had paid and repeatedly told me that I paid a cheaper price than what I paid. She went to the receipt drawer to find my receipt only to have pie in her face because she was WRONG!!! No apology was given! Hai did a wonderful manicure and pedicure. She carefully trimmed my toenails and the surrounding skin. It was so great to have that done. She also did a French manicure on my fingers and again clipped the surrounding dead skin of winter. She was patient and spent a lot of time clipping away and massaging my hands to help make them softer and less dry. I will definitely go back to her. read more

I would not give Fancy Nails ,Driftwood Plaza, Melbourne Beach a single star if it was an option. My sister was charged on her debit card 90 dollars for a 25 dollar gift certificate. When she went to speak to the owner about the mistake, the owner was rude, unprofessional and refused to correct the mistake. We will be taking further action in regards to this matter but would NOT recommend Fancy Nails, Driftwood Plaza. read more
