Unfortunately I came in for a mani pedi and after an hour had to leave without anyone even touching my hands. It wasn't anything fancy I needed-just a regular mani pedi. And my toes were the only things painted after an hour :( Super bummed. She also like talked badly about how I cut my toe nails (I'm VERY pregnant) AND cut too much of my cuticles because my toes BURNED so badly when she pored alcohol on them. She also tried to push gel. Sadly won't be back. And this was like my only time to go do something for me as I get ready to have my third baby. They seem super nice just not as efficient as I am used to coming from California. I mean when I had to go AFTER AN HOUR she was like "oh you're in a rush..." when an hour should be the most amount of time you're in a salon for a manicure and pedicure. read more

My daughter went to get a simple filling a design today and was VERY disappointed..the nail tech chose to use WHITE acrylic on her nails when it was clear that pink was her base...next the nail tech DIS NOT shaoe her nails correctly and he DID NOT file down the acrylic..leaving her with super THICK and BUMBY nails...next the design was messy and unfinished...to top it off the nail tech put rhinestones around the nail bed of her nails to tey and cover up the messy lay of acrylic that was done...I DO NOT recommend that anyone go there read more

Well... 72 dollars for a polish change here for an adult and little girl gel toes. Not what I was expecting to paymy normal salon charges 45 for my full deluxe pedi and 10 for my little one. I am going to try to not be mean and more factual but the truth is I am utterly disappointed. I am here from out of town (SoCal) and risked going somewhere new (been going to the same lady at home for years). The gentleman who did my fingernails seemed to not really be sure of what he was doing. I got gel done and had previous gel that needed to be taken off. The first finger he touched, he cut and it bled. He also did not get off all of the old gel. He seemed impatient and didn't want to let them soak in acetone. He just scraped. The shape of my nails is a mess. They are crooked and inconsistent. He also did close to nothing to my cuticles. I know they were in need too. As for my toenails, I thought it might've been maybe his second time doing nails. He barely did anything to my cuticles either. The water was room temp, pushing cold. I asked numerous times for him to make if warmer (I was nice) and it still didn't work. I asked him to trim more skin off around my big toe and he said he would go back to it and never did. I've been doing my nails forever so I am picky, I get it, but he did like 50 nail polish strokes per nail. Anyone who paints nails enough should know that is not how to paint and creates clumps and steaks and bubbles. I will give it to him that the massage and scrub was great. They were all very nice. In my opinion, $70 wasn't worth it. I thought SoCal was pricier and I can get a really nice combo that I would be happier with for $50, sometimes less. I just had the BEST pedicure experience of my life! I received the deluxe pedicure (which I highly recommend) and I was thoroughly impressed. The hot rock massage is definitely worth the extra few dollars! I felt like I was at a spa instead of a salon. The price was not out of the norm either. Had an appointment at 3 PM with my friend who also had one at 3PM. We got sat down at around 3:30 finally thinking they were going to start but we sat there for another 20 minutes. I had someone start on my nails finally and she kept leaving while doing them. My friend finally got her nails started at 4 but was told to move seats 3 different times. DO NOT GO HERE. i wish i could give 0 stars. let me start out with the fact that the man doing my nails made me bleed while cutting my cuticles. as i was literally bleeding, he continued to use the same tools. not to mention his hands were cracked & the underneath of his fingernails were filled with dirt. he would scratch his head & then proceed to touch the underneath of my nails. i was very vigilant about seeing how he would go about cleaning the tools he used on my bloody finger. he proceeded to put the cap on the cuticle cutter, AND PUT IT BACK IN THE DRAWER. not only is this disgusting, it puts people at risk for contracting blood borne infections. read more

I went to get a fill with shellac. The shellac had chipped before but I decided to overlook it. Not only were the prices much higher than anywhere I've been (and I'm from NY), but the shade wasn't exactly what I wanted, and two nails had big bubbles in them. You could see that one area had more shellac than the other. I went to get it fixed a few days later and the girl was so sweet, but now two weeks after getting them done all together, a nail broke and the shellac is chipping. I get my nails done all year long and have NEVER had this problem. So now I'm stuck with paying to get them removed and getting new ones. read more

What is the point of having a digital sign in if you don't pay attention to it? I signed in with my daughter and her services went fast, had 3 people come after me and get taken back. I am completely angry and disappointed with this place. I went there to get a fill and everything was fine until the person doing my nails said he thinks I should get a new set. I know he has way more experience doing nails and probably knows what he is doing but for me, it seemed like a ploy. He was basically making me feel bad about the fact that I wouldn't pay more money. I have had this set in for about three months and he was trying to tell me they were old. I payed and left, the very next day, my entire acrylic nail came off. That has never happened to me and I had a previous set that lasted me 6+ months. Then one by one, they all started to pop off. How ironic is it that once I told him I wasn't paying for a new set that they all start coming off. He spent the majority of the drill on my nail bed and I realize now that it was him. I have been going to Fancy Nails for a long time. The employees have always been friendly and do a really good job. I have NEVER had any problems with their service, professionalism, or fairness. They remember your name and work hard to get you in and out of there in a reasonable time. A lot of times 2 people will work on you at the same time so you can get in and out of there quickly. I have even came in on several occasions shortly before closing and they will stay late to get you serviced. Other places would probably turn you away but not Fancy Nails. Absolutely the most unprofessional establishment I have ever experienced. I waited for 45 minutes to get a fill, after they took several people who came in after me. After I finally got seated, I waited an additional 15 minutes, and then was transferred between 2 different technicians. The second technician was very unprofessional and said "no" when I asked him to make my nails more square. Then, my sister came to sit by me and he proceeded to tell her that she is is much bigger than me. He told her that her shoulders were wide. He also made several jokes towards me about taking me out on dates. I could not believe that he was actually saying this. After my mediocre nails were done and I had been there for 2 hours, I was charged $52 plus tax and tip for a fill. This is absolutely outrageous especially given my wait and the below-average nails that I walked out with. I will never be spending money here again!!! read more
